Guniyal is not at fault till the party day actually. Guniyal is a mother and she treated saras not like a guest but saraswati's child. Lets not forget how Guniyal treated him when he returned after ploughing the field like a son wiping his drenched hair. For Guniyal there is no big difference between Kumud the daughter and saras her dead friend's son. Guniyal always hoped kumud tell her frather everything or saras tell him. But it never happened because of circumstances and sometimes because of kumud requesting saras.
But on party day before VC started the function he told guniyal. There as a mother and wife guniyal failed. Guniyal must have told VC saras rejected kumud's hand. VC would not be humiliated in front of so many guests if she had told truth. But she kept quiet and hence failed her husband and daughter. Party fiasco is only guniyal's fault.
Saras is at fault for coming to ratnagiri after rejecting a girl. Why? Kumud challenged him to the hell he should have shown maturity and called VC and asked sorry on phone. Why he instead of going to US comes to India. That is his only fault. Saras already told LNV he does not want to marry kumud but LNV never listens. Kumud is at biggest fault jhere not telling father, challenging guy to come to india, arousing guys interest by hidding face etc. In videocon her dad and mom wanted to see saras but why she kept quiet as all were goiing out because she wanted to challenge saras, she did not want her family to know boy is not interested in marriage.
In 21st century rejecting a girl/boy is common rather than suffering all life after marriage or divorce. Saras did correct thing but he should have called VC and told sorry i reject marriage. Sunny adviced him wrongly. Kumud has too much ego and immaturity to handle life. Every human faces rejection in school, college, family, friendships, relationships but if cannot keep your ego aside your life will be destroyed. Think all rejection is Gods plan for better future and learn to let go and forgive. Do not take it to heart and let ego rule over mind.
