You always pick Gautam's best emoting moment in the epi, Srush :-)

That was the moment that touched me too...the way he looked at Dukhbaa after he came back...the way he closes his eyes as he yearns for a mother's touch and finds it in Dukhbaa...it's interesting that he hasn't said a word to Dukhbaa so far despite these two emotional charged sort of interaction moments he's had with her...or maybe they just haven't shown those.

The guy emotes quite well with his eyes...I felt that since the web preview only...he's only further strengthened that opinion in the show.


I also liked the ending Saras-Kumud scene...the way she steps in front when she knows he's about to pass her by and gives him the very same aarti that she was hiding from him just two days back...I liked the irony of that...two days back she was going to any lengths to hide her face and now she's running after him, throwing herself in his path even when he doesn't want to see her face...and Saras for his part...aarti aur prasaad thodi na refuse karega sanyaasi ji...lol

As for the rest...Kumud displays so much akkad and pride even while asking for forgiveness...lol...achha hai.

GR again steals the scenes, even though I do not agree completely with certain stances of the character, esp. re Kumud. This actor is simply amazing.👏 Did you see, perhaps there was not a single word from him today and yet he emoted so powerfully, all through his eyes. Simply Brilliant! 👏 And Jenifer. Not only she rose to the challenge, she held her forte well. Hers was a day of expression through voice modulations as well as the eyes and body language.👏 Screen play must be given a special mention- The way she looked back to the closed door in two wistful pauses- while making her dejected retreat- was director's fine touch.👍🏼

But piece de resistance unfolded in temple; Fittingly, GR speaking volume with his eyes and Kumud emotted visions through her 'dimmed' murmurs. His hurt and Her regret were genuine and so they were delivered by both. They enlivened the essence of characters as they must have been conceived in original classic. Superb!👏

Srushti, adding a take on your question-

He came there to pray only. Look at a mild surprise- kind of discomfort- at seeing her already there. Plus, when they crossed, he did try to bypass and go straight to idol. These mean he didn't expect her there...

about forgiveness, considering his sensitivity, having prayed and regaining his equanimity in front of his God, he may stop her there only and grant the forgiveness, after all, he knows about her inadvertence...

or cvs may yet stretch a delicious schism for sometime?!😆
