Totally agree with u...I was watching sbs n thinking this girl is making him feel embarrassed in front of the camera...he is kinda shy guy...this girl surely had tons of guts.

I totally agree with you, sometimes fans go overboard seeing there favorite celeb, I mean how much ever you are a big fan of that actor/actress there is a polite way of putting it through, at least maintain some decorum so many people are watching you around. It was a catch-20 situation certainly.

Honestly, even when I was a teen, I couldn't fawn over some hot celeb and now as I've grown older, I only cringe when I see others do stuff like that.

Actors really have to be narcissistic to enjoy the excessive adulation that comes their way. I know some of the bigger stars take it in their stride but such a pity that people don't understand its not like that for everyone.

From what you have described, I'm cringing in embarrassment and I don't think it's being prudish. It's abut knowing your boundaries, respecting other people's space and privacy even if they're in the limelight for what they do.

They're people too!

I have to go finish off a really important assignment so I will keep it short, but PHEW! Thank you for making this post! This is not the first time I have felt all cringy while watching an interview, and unlike most here, I actually did not watch it because I feel really weird and embarrassed every time they have these fan interviews!

This is NOT a personal attack on the girl! LOADS of fans go completely ga-ga when they see their celebrity, and I do not blame them, but maybe we should think about what we are saying!

Also, the whole "challenge" to meet your celeb thing sucks BIG time, on SO many levels! What the shit was that tel-maalish thing?! She was a respectable young woman for gods sake! And plus, they are JUST actors, not doctors or God, so people should stop making 'actor' sound SOOO important and highly, that people have to go through challenges to meet them! UGH.

So much for keeping it short.
