nice review

i felt that the pace of the episodes were a bit fast as well, I think its because we are used to slow tracks that have alot of dragging. I agree with you alot of things happened in the first episode. Usually in other shows the first episode is just an introduction of all of the characters and their routine but here we had a royal ball, a gal diving in a lake, guy also doing a lake prayer and a inappropriate step mother.

I loved the background music it was perfect, usually in every show its loud and obnoxious but here it was serene and fit into the scenes like it was custom made to do so.

Surprisingly loved the pace of the show ! As I feel that if its dragged the usual star plus way it would loose its beauty .. I still wish SLB made the remake of SVC in movie as TV and TRP funda would ruin the beauty of the story, leads are good as seeing them for first time ( don't watch that many serials) , can't deny that the sets were awesome , SLB factor and Devdas and HDDCS was everywhere to be seen which wasn't bad :)
