Akruti has come to visit Naina, says without the family Diwali is nothing. Akruti wants Naina to come home for the Diwali, to bring happiness, and Naina asks if everything is fine. She tells about Rohini, and what she is planning to take control of the house. Naina is surprised. Akruti regrets for having told her all the house problems and she says that she feels light. Naina says she needs some time. Akruti says that she will leave now. Her cousin arrives and listens to her, and comes to meet her. She wishes them good bye and goes home.
In Patwardhan house the father says that they should not put lights for the Diwali. When the decorator works, Kaka tells him to decorate the middle of the house. Rohini brings a candle as Ayee has no money for diyas and Kaka comes forward and gives the candle back to her and tells her to remain within her limits. He says to his brother, that he does not know what she does behind his back. Rohini insists that the candle is good for her mother.
Akruti tells her aunt not to touch the candle. She tells Rohini that she need not think about their diwali celebrations. They can fend for themselves. Rohini snubs her and Akruti tells her that some people forget that money is not everything. They forget that Diwali is a feast to bring light and love, and Rohini again snubs her with her ugly words. Akruti does not stop, she tells her that she does not know manners, and she tells that in their house love is greater than money.
Baba tries to convince her, and Kaka tells her that she has pride in her money and the whole time she goes on, running down Akruti, and the others just listen, and finally when Ayee wants to intervene, she tells that the right over the house belongs to the daughter in law. From the back Naina tells her that she said the right thing, and for that she has come to take her right.
Rohini goes to her, and asks what have you to take and how much have we to tell that you have no connection with this family. Daksh asks her to stop. Naina tries to bring peace, and gives her the sweets as a gift to sweeten her mouth ,and hopes with it her words too become sweet. Naina tells that Rohini knows the value of relationships, and being younger daughter in law, she too has some idea. I have come here not as Naina, but as the younger daughter in law. So move from my way and let us in.
Rohini starts her long lecture, and she says her marriage is not acceptable to them and asks what "choti bahu"?. Akruti says that she is my cousin's wife, and she has right for that title. She says it was Daksh who gave her courage. Her father says to stop. She continues that she took her side always, and why they are doing this, and Rohini tells her to keep her mouth shut and tells her aunt to take her in. She tries to prove herself great in front of her others.
Rohini targets Akruti and says that she is a weak link in the family always helping those who are outsiders, and Kaka says that you have a devil on your head, and she tells him not to speak in between.
Naina says they are so much engrossed in their own affairs they have forgotten the welcome them. Akruti says that they were the part of this house before and they are still part. She says, that she had made a mistake and has been forgiven. If my cousin decides to marry someone he liked, and if this is fault, then the whole world is doing mistakes. She asks her aunt to forgive, but she says, that she can not forgive her. She is not fit for my trust. She repeats her old story, and looks a melancholic who is buried in her own self pity.
In the Precap: The police have come to the house asking for Rohini Patwardan. She points out to Daksh and Naina and tells the police that these two have barged into their house by force without being invited. The police asks if this is true. The rest is to be told in the next episode.

Answering Akruti, Ayee says, "These two have insulted me, and I can not forgive them."
Rohini says, "Get out, of this house."
Naina says to Daksh, "By coming to the house things have gotten worse. We have the right to stay here do we not? I am tired, want to go and rest." She tells Rohini, "Do not take any trouble. We can carry our bags. I know the way to the room of Daksh." Rohini smarts, as if a snake has bit her.
Daksh looks sadly at his family and Naina tells him, to go to his room. She talks about her room to Kaka, as he has not returned the deposit, she asks him if the agreement is still valid, and he shakes his head with a gusto in approval. Rohini says, she knew that one day this paying guest will take possession of the house. Kaka reminds about her interior decoration plans, and how they have all gone futile.
Naina enters her room looks at the changes, and says "How this has happened?" Rohini comes and tells her to leave the room and the house and allow them to stay in peace. She nags her. Naina asks her, "Why are you bothered about us? We do not need to take her permission, and know how to go about our live.". Rohini continues aggressively, "No one in the house wants you two". Naina tells her "You have forgotten that I am the younger daughter in law, and as to the other members I will settle it later. Now please empty my room", and when Naina lifts her things, Rohini tells that this was for her child. Naina taunts her saying "So all this you have planned in advance". Naina says, she has to empty the room. Rohini says they have to leave, and they will face the consequences. Naina throws Rohini's things, and she cribbs about her precious possessions. When Rohini is sent out of the room, she goes and challenges and decides to take her revenge.
Daksh and Naina spend a quiet time in their room, and he asks if she is fine. She says, "How can one feel fine, when so much is happening". Naina reminds him that what they are doing is to save his parents. If they do not take these steps, her parents will be thrown out by the crafty Rohini. She says, that the method they use may not be the best, but they need to do it, because of Rohini, who is sly and can stoop to any depths, and she has poisoned the minds of his parents. She says, "By staying here we can watch Rohini". Apparently Akruti has told her about Rohini's plans. Naina hugs Daksh and says, that she wants his help to save the family. He promises to be with her always. He too says, that he can not see them unhappy. Some one knocks on the door, and Sanket comes in. He being lectured by his wife has come to upbraid his brother, and Naina says, it was not he idea of Daksh, but she was responsible. He tells her that he does not want to speak to her. He says to Daksh "From when have you become so selfish, you are blinded by the love for this girl, who has no family to speak about, and you have gone against your mother, who has loved you for so long." Daksh replies, "The girl whom you refer, is my wife, and I expect you to show respect to her. I will not tolerate any one speaking rudely about her." Sanket says, his mother has no relation with him. Daksh says, "I will stay here and what ever you all want to do, you can. I will never leave the house. I am have been trying to tell you all for such a long time. You do not accept a straight way, so I have to use my own way".
Rohini is upset, that Sanket got this reply from his brother. She says that he has lost all his respect for the family. The mother listens to her and tells her that Naina has made some magic on Daksh. She has entrapped him. She has also influenced Akruti and spoiled lit her life. Now she is afraid of Naina and she has come shamelessly to show her right. She says to her mother not to worry, and she will handle everything. She calls the police on her mobile to evict some intruders who have come into their house.
Kaki asks her husband Kaka, that when so much trouble is going on in the house, he is reading newspaper in peace. He says, "This is the biggest entertainment, with Rohini trying to take control of this house". He abuses Rohini and says that it is because of her the whole family has turned against him. They hear the police siren.
Rohini opens the door and tells the police that she had called them, and she thanks for coming soon. She points out to Daksh and Naina, and tells them, "These are the two, who are forcefully entered the house and are trying to take over the house".
Daksh calmly tells the police, "I am Daksh, the younger son of the family and have full right to live in this house", and this, pointing to Naina, "This is my wife". Naina comes forward and says, "If you want, we can show the proof". No further police action is shown.
In the precap: Ayee confronts Naina and shouts at her. She says, "You may stay here under this roof, but no one in the house will keep relationship with you. You will be treated like a person from the street." The absurdity is that a woman who was capable of so much love can go to the other extreme of the pendulum. It could only happen to an unstable person. No indication has been given so far that Vibha is unstable and no hurt feeling could descend this low, but may be the dramatist wants to show this now, to contrast it with a future turn around.

Naina says to the police that people may have problems, but one can not demand tht they have to leave. Police agrees with Naina, and says, that this is a internal family matter, and madam should not have called them and wasted the time of the police department. He goes away. Naina says that she is not worried about whatever has happened. She tells Rohini that she has to be thankful, that they have only claimed one room and not the half part of the house on which they have a right. Ayee loses her head, on hearing this, and says that she understands now that she always was eyeing her house, and now she wants to divide the house. "Tell me. I see it in your face. and see how you have returned the the love I showed you. i will never recognize you as the wife of my son. What son, I never had that son. Our relationship ended the day he went to you". Agitated she says, "You want half part of this house?" so saying she goes to get some chalk powder and draws a line on the floor. She says, "See i have given your share". The rest just look on and Rohini wonders what is going on. Vibha tells them that they may be in this house, but they will be like people from the street squatting in their house. Kaka comes and says, that he does not agree with her division. Kaki says "Without consulting us why do you do this?" Kaka says "We too have right". Vidhyadhar who was a bystander so far, finds his voice and say, "How could you make this decision on your own?". She says that this house is divided in two. She talks like a mad woman, to spite Naina. She says that all on her side should cross over to her side of the line. Kaka disagrees, and Rohini adds her voice. She says, "You gave half the house to them and where will we go. and how will will the kitchen be divided?". Ayee says that they have three rooms on their side and Kaka Kaki will live in Akruti's room, Vedant and Akruti will stay in the veranda, and Rohini and Sanket in their room, and Vidhyadhar and she will remain in their room. Rest will go to Daksh and Naina. They will not divide the kitchen. The terrace will be divided in two. She demands that all should agree with her. She has one more word to them: "Any one who crosses the line to go to the other side will have to cross over my dead body".
The crossing of the Jordan starts. Kaki walks to Vibha's side. Vedant follows his mother and then his sister does the same. Kaka crosses over last. Vibha had already her son Sanket and his wife and her husband on her side, from the beginning. Her husband has nowhere to go, but follow his wife, after all he has gone old now, and where can he go at this stage?
Daksh, while in his room, says he did not expect this from his mother. He can not understand what has gone wrong with his mother. Naina tells him that all this is to bring the family together, and now they should not accept defeat, but should try to solve the problems. Naina says that by coming home, may be the opposition will gradually die down. Daksh quietly listens to her. She says, "At first they were against us, now they all have become one, may be against us".
Rohini can not get sleep, and she tosses in bed and wakes her Sanket to tell Kaka who has brought the tv up and playing it loud and she can not sleep. He ignores her and goes to sleep. Rohini wants to fight agaisnt her uncle and goes to put the uncle's tv off. She goes and knocks on the door, and tells the Kaka to lower the volume. He abuses her and insists upon his own right. He makes fun. He says his room is his, and he can do what he wants. "Get used to it, and this is my room, and if you are fed up, tell your mother in law, and live with her. It is her mess". He hums and leaves and Rohini is stuck.
The morning dawns and Naina asks if Daksh had good sleep Daksh gets the smell of his mother's cooking. In the kitchen Vibha and Shyamal are cooking happily. Daksh and Naina come to the kitchen and she promises to make kanda poha and asks him to help her. Vibha gets annoyed and tells Shyamal to hurry to prepare the breakfast. Naina ignores Ayee and tells Daksh to bring some ingredients, and he gives and the other camp watches. Daksh complains that her onions have burnt and she asks what to do now. Vibha tells Shyamal to take the tea and go out. Daksh tells "Let the onions get burnt, we will eat this burnt thing, in front of them"..
Precap: Akruti is happy that Naina is with them. They are on their half side of the terrace.

In the dining room, Daksh and Naina are sitting, and Akruti wants to serve Daksh. Ayee tells her not to interfere with them, and sit on her place and eat quietly.
The other side are all concerned about Rohini who pretends that she is very tired, and starts complaining about Kaka. Kaka says,"It is fine that you want to have rest, and during the middle of the night, come to my room. Just as you want rest, I too need rest, and I get it by listening to the tv". rohini says, that if she does not settle this with Kaka, her health will deteriorate.
Kaka praises the food. Rohini starts screaming to get attention, and Daksh says, that he will call the doctor. Ayee ignores him and tells Sanket to call the doctor. Daksh and Naina see their drama. The doctor says, they need not worry, but recommends that she take rest.
Ayee goes to Rohini and tells her to take rest, and tells others not to disturb her. Rohini complains, "How can I do this in this environment?". She says, ever since there is a division, her life has turned miserable. She says, that she will have to go to her mother's house. Ayee tells that she is bringing milk, and she will make some arrangement. When she has gone, she gets up, . Rohini is on the phone line, and she laughs and says, that when she gave the threat of going to her mother, they all straightened. Naina watches
Daksh and his mother are in the kitchen. He sees his mother in trouble. He goes to help, but she calls for Sanket. He helps. Vibha tells him to bring the things for the puja and she will make the list. There is problem of using the terrace. Sanket says, they will use the compound. Sanket leaves.
Daksh is on the terrace and tells Naina how his mother used to decorate the terrace for the festival, but this year, she is standing by her own plan. Naina tells him to wait. She tells him, that all will end well in the end. When he says, that Rohini will not get rest. When he tells that she will have to take lot of stress, and Naina who knows everything, wants to go along and keep a watch over her. She has an idea to remove her difficulty and she goes down. Akruti is on the other side of the line and speaks to Daksh and they talk to each other and she says she is very happy. Daksh sees someone coming. He stands up, and with him also Akruti. It is Naina. She tells "You brought laddoos for Dada, and not for me?".
Rohini is listening to them speaking on the terrace. Naina says loudly for Rohini to hear, "If Vahini gets sick, she will have to go to her mother's house. Ayee will be considerate to her need, and will allow her to go". Naina says that when she goes, she will take possession of her room. Rohini hears the plan, and Naina and Akruti giggle, knowing that she has bought it and Akruti brings water to Sanket.
In the morning, a guest comes and Ayee asks Rohini to see who has come. It is her brother and he informs that received a call, from here saying that she is sick. "Come with me. Do not delay". Rohini thinks that someone has played a trick on her. She thinks that it must be Naina, and she challenges her. Ayee says, "It is normal, and according to custom the first child is born at the mther's house". She encourages her to go away with her brother, Vinay. Naina and Akruti watch them. as Rohini insists on staying in this house. Her brother tells that it is right to be in his house. Rohini does not tell why, but then she says it is for her Ayee. Ayee's heart melts and she compares her to Naina. She offers to pack. Rohini is in a fix. Kaka wonders about this new drama of Rohini. The brother offers to leave when Rohini decides to stay with her husband. Naina smiles at Akruti.
Precap: A call comes and Akruti finds the battery is dying. Naina offers to charge the battery. Ayee sees Akruti crossing the white line to go to Naina's room.

In the dining room, Daksh and Naina are sitting, and Akruti wants to serve Daksh. Ayee tells her not to interfere with them, and sit on her place and eat quietly.
The other side are all concerned about Rohini who pretends that she is very tired, and starts complaining about Kaka. Kaka says,"It is fine that you want to have rest, and during the middle of the night, come to my room. Just as you want rest, I too need rest, and I get it by listening to the tv". rohini says, that if she does not settle this with Kaka, her health will deteriorate.
Kaka praises the food. Rohini starts screaming to get attention, and Daksh says, that he will call the doctor. Ayee ignores him and tells Sanket to call the doctor. Daksh and Naina see their drama. The doctor says, they need not worry, but recommends that she take rest.
Ayee goes to Rohini and tells her to take rest, and tells others not to disturb her. Rohini complains, "How can I do this in this environment?". She says, ever since there is a division, her life has turned miserable. She says, that she will have to go to her mother's house. Ayee tells that she is bringing milk, and she will make some arrangement. When she has gone, she gets up, . Rohini is on the phone line, and she laughs and says, that when she gave the threat of going to her mother, they all straightened. Naina watches
Daksh and his mother are in the kitchen. He sees his mother in trouble. He goes to help, but she calls for Sanket. He helps. Vibha tells him to bring the things for the puja and she will make the list. There is problem of using the terrace. Sanket says, they will use the compound. Sanket leaves.
Daksh is on the terrace and tells Naina how his mother used to decorate the terrace for the festival, but this year, she is standing by her own plan. Naina tells him to wait. She tells him, that all will end well in the end. When he says, that Rohini will not get rest. When he tells that she will have to take lot of stress, and Naina who knows everything, wants to go along and keep a watch over her. She has an idea to remove her difficulty and she goes down. Akruti is on the other side of the line and speaks to Daksh and they talk to each other and she says she is very happy. Daksh sees someone coming. He stands up, and with him also Akruti. It is Naina. She tells "You brought laddoos for Dada, and not for me?".
Rohini is listening to them speaking on the terrace. Naina says loudly for Rohini to hear, "If Vahini gets sick, she will have to go to her mother's house. Ayee will be considerate to her need, and will allow her to go". Naina says that when she goes, she will take possession of her room. Rohini hears the plan, and Naina and Akruti giggle, knowing that she has bought it and Akruti brings water to Sanket.
In the morning, a guest comes and Ayee asks Rohini to see who has come. It is her brother and he informs that received a call, from here saying that she is sick. "Come with me. Do not delay". Rohini thinks that someone has played a trick on her. She thinks that it must be Naina, and she challenges her. Ayee says, "It is normal, and according to custom the first child is born at the mther's house". She encourages her to go away with her brother, Vinay. Naina and Akruti watch them. as Rohini insists on staying in this house. Her brother tells that it is right to be in his house. Rohini does not tell why, but then she says it is for her Ayee. Ayee's heart melts and she compares her to Naina. She offers to pack. Rohini is in a fix. Kaka wonders about this new drama of Rohini. The brother offers to leave when Rohini decides to stay with her husband. Naina smiles at Akruti.
Precap: A call comes and Akruti finds the battery is dying. Naina offers to charge the battery. Ayee sees Akruti crossing the white line to go to Naina's room.
