Daksh offers to take Sonakshi down for breakfast. He he catches her left arm, and puts his right arm on her shoulder to lead her down, and in his minds says, "Just, wait, how I will bare your scheme in front of everyone". She too is thinking how she will sway the family to her side. Let us wait and see who does what.
Down in the hall, rest of the family members are anticipating the arrival of Ayush and his parents, to formalize the wedding plans. Upstairs, Shyamal dresses up her daughter, who is apprehensive of what to expect, and her father comes to taunt, and tells both the daughter and the mother to keep their mouths shut, and he will do the talking.
The bell rings, and the guests arrive, and are introduced to one an all. Rohini is in high spirits, and Sonakshi has something going up in her mind. Akruti and her mother are still upstairs, and none of those present, had seen the parents of Ayush before, but Sonakshi has a sly smile on her face, and she exchanges glances with Ayush. The viewers had a chance to see the mother, once before in their house, and she had a brownish tinged hair, but now this mother has black hair, and I get the impression, that they might have got some actors to play the part of his parents, and Akruti, has seen them, as she once said, that Ayush made her admit that it was her fault that she ensnared their son. So she has seen the mother and father, and now Akruti comes down, with her mother, who also see these parents for the first time. Right from the first moment, Akruti, is still and upset, and the other members of the family have been taken up by the sweet talk of the parents, and the Kaka, is falling over himself, to give his daughter to them, and the mother of the bridegroom, also shows her happiness, and offers, the initial gift offering and finally, they leave. Before leaving, Ayush again exchanges glances with the pseudo lawyer, Sonakshi, and she reciprocates, and only the viewers are supposed to notice it, while the family memebers are busy congratulating themselves.
Rohini takes a chance to taunt indirectly Naina, without referring to her, but she is all praise for Sonakshi, and Daksh watches her intently, waiting to see, when she will slip, and let out her secret. There is no chance. All are feeling that they should celebrate, and Daksh proposes that they go out into the garden. The chairs are already kept in the lawn. They go out, and Kaka says, he is going out to arrange for a wedding hall.
Out in the garden, suddenly Daksh shows extra attention to Sonakshi, and Rohini thinks he had a change of heart, and he admits that it happened last night. Rohini is happy, that she finally is getting her way, to sideline Naina. Daksh sees Naina in the kitchen, and they argue, and he tells that he saw Sonakshi's plaster on her bed, and she is faking. Naina with a serious look, tries to defend Sonakshi, as if she can not see through her scheme. This will offend many a viewer, who has high regard to Naina's intelligence, but this is what this character has to do now, so that later the usefulness of this behavior is intended to be shown. Determined to show what Sonakshi actually is, Daksh leaves and goes out and they move to the garden.In the garden, Daksh tells Naina to prepare tea for them, and she goes to do it. In the meantime, Daksh hovers round Sonakshi and Rohini thinks this is a new Daksh. He offers tea to Sonakshi, then biscuits, and dotes on her. Sonakshi is suspicious of Daksh and watches him, closely, and lest he be really starting to love her, also makes motions of endearment. Daksh does not buy them. When, Sonakshi is standing, he tells her to sit, and helps her, and then, goes to the clothes line, and trips the supporting wooden blocks, and the clothes line with clothes falls on Sonakshi, and the hot tea splills on her foot, and she screams in pain, as we are shown her reddened feet, a little far fetched scenario, which discerning viewers may find it hard to swallow. But this is what we are shown, and perhaps, it is necessary to have to show it, because of the next few scenes. They all, bend over their backs, with oohs and aahs, and pity the one for whom Rohini has great concern. She orders them to bring ice, and medicines, and the one to run is Naina, the ubiquitous nurse and maid, and she runs without showing any hurt feelings. Daksh is ordered to take car of Sonakshi, and take her to her room. He willingly takes her this time, with all show of concernt, and that makes Sonakshi wary, and she has to keep up her act.
In the room, they all decide, to leave Daksh and Sonakshi alone, and Rohini is lead by her husband, with his hand over her shoulder, as if she is a weak, invalid, and just because they value what she carries in her womb, which is their heir apparent, and can not be hurt in any way. Rohini enjoys this attention. Ayee, and Naina, go to see Akruti, with the father. So this leaves Daksh time alone to handle Sonakshi. He tries various ways to pin her down, but she too is smart. She gives the impression, of helping herself, with great pain, and he volunteers to help her. He applies ice on her reddened foot, and then puts ointment. He sees her struggling with her plastered arm, and waits to see if she will betray herself.
In the pre cap, we see, Naina reading an apology from Daksh, and throws it in the waste basket, and leaves the room. Sonakshi picks the note and reads it, and wonders if they have quarreled.
