BRIJA separation was on the cards...had to come sooner or later. In this case we saw four BRIJA meetings of which two were partially romantic and two out and out romantic. Aur kya chahiye. I felt BRIJA separation would come earlier...immediately after Rangoli's entry but the cvs gave us something more to hold onto while they push the plot forward.
What they are doing now is important ...that is moving towards episode 1 ...so they need to acquaint the audience with all the negative forces around while still keeping the mystery intact. Thats the reason we are all at tenterhooks playing the whodunit game and that's why we are enjoying this 24 hr forum as much as/ sometimes more than the actual 14 min show...we have SKBM playing all day long in between our work, meals, while commuting and late night hours. If we have just mushy scenes between the leads what are we going to talk about beyond the usual handholdings and hugs. If their relationship progresses beyond that...u'll be disappointed...they won't show anything...all left to your imagination. Kamna is too young..I believe 18 something... to play lovemaking or even kissing scenes..like harivansh she must be having her real life family protecting their little one...and Raahul is happily married. Had I been his wife I would have objected to all these emotional romantic BRIJA moments...good that she's open about it. But going beyond that for a tv soap...I don't think Raahul would dare to...example dekh lo...onscreen biwi ke saamne Ye haal hai ...sakshaat real life dharma patni ke saamne kya hota hoga😉...anyway just kidding.
I've always liked the economy of screen time maintained by this show. So much included in 14 minutes with nothing superfluous so far...except harivansh's miseries shown in the beginning.
But yesterday's episode did appear uselessly stretched to me. ESP the measurement scene. We do understand what they want to get across. BRIJA not to get in touch, pooja packed off to pachmarhi and Brij on edge thinking pooja is hurt and heartbroken in the knowledge of Bungoli. So it has hit us...could have been done in a better way.
Not liking Raahul's role too. His character appears puny beside that over the top Rangoli. CVs are belittling his character and that wait and watch argument that even I've been harping on is passe. You can see that clearly with Raahul's popularity ranking going down...it reflects audience's displeasure about how they built the character initially and made us all fall for him and how they are ( mis)handling it now. Understand it's all TRP game.
Also loved the show because of its simplicity and close to reality dressing sense. I'm missing pooja's simple yet lovely cotton salwars...and now even Brij would be getting a new wardrobe and going by Rangoli's taste...urghhh...
