I actually did not like yesterday's episode. I thought it was badly written and directed, especially the restaurant scene. That was like a film from 1960s, where the educated shrew heroine is insulting the country bumpkin she has been forced to marry. I am sure there is a Dilip Kumar or a Jeetendra film out there with the exact scene. RS looked very uncomfortable. He is capable of more, and he is being made to act in such a silly scene.

I am also feeling a bit uneasy about this madgoli. There is something wrong in her characterisation. I am not able to put my finger on what it is, but there is something very wrong in the way she has been shown so far. Something is not jelling. May be it is my imagination but I feel her character needs to be written well and directed well. She is acting like a she-man and that will not work with TV audience. Even the villain character has to touch a chord for a show to survive.

When we think of the wonderfully directed scenes in Panchmadi, likethat 'fuse hi toh udd gaya hai' scene which was awesome, the recent episodes do not seem very good.

Anyway, the precap is interesting. Madgoli has more brain than her brother and is able to see through Brij's gameplan. That could be very good to watch, she trying to beat Brij at his own game.

Siddarth is just 🤢 Not a good actor at all. Should be replaced immediately.

very well said kamla i agree and think ke rahul singh seem to be uncomfortable and just doing those scenes just for the sake of doing them yes panchmadi scenes are beautifully written directed and nicely acted by rahul but but these days rahul seems to be not performing DIL SE😕

nashtey ki table par brij , dadaji and rangoli mom were about to have a peaceful , and calm breakfast , rangoli aa gayi saara sukoon barbaad karney , serving and making them eat for her so called pan cakes 😡 seems more like a Taftaan 😆 i could not believe rangoli cooked pan cakes for his family members , could not believe it , it requires some kneading process too 😉

when brij was memorizing his bad moments with rangoli on the breakfast table , the two people there on the table made me scare that they might be the kids of brij and rangoli 🤢

and brij don't know how he is bearing her psycho wife tantrums , anger , i hope one day brij would beat rangoli and tell her that he is a politician and politicians are not good with women , i hope he would not do with Pooja if he dearly loves her 😳

and there is a sudden changed in the trait of siddharth grabbing the hand of Pooja 😲

Kamala, I might be repeating myself - I responded in a similar vein yesterday to a post of yours yesterday. I think the entire CV team is now being deliberately explicit in its storytelling. Hence the sense of seeing over the top characterizations. The problem with the serial was that in the initial few weeks when there was splendid photography and absolutely great acting, the story plodded along. The plot was not clear and neither were the 'good,bad,ugly' characters. Indian serials need some predictability - that is why you see "tom and jerry" styled themes take off even with substandard histrionics, dialogues and camera work. Serials that are political thrillers are not easy to make for daily consumption, they might work much better in the season format or weekend 1-2 hour slots (like Merlin). But Indian TV land is a very different ballgame from pretty much any other sector around the globe. I agree that the breakfast scene with the 2 freinds was a throwback to the bollywood sixties, but I actually think that RS did a great job conveying a socially uncertain person....sort of a male version of Pooja...let us see where the story takes us!!

As for Siddarth - I am with you - I dislike the character and and also think that it has been cast very poorly
