you may be right. SBKM is now going the predictable TV serial way. Today's episode had 2 such incidents. One is Daddaji's wife overhearing madgoli and giridhar's convo. Then Sid suddenly becoming flirtatious with Puja. Typical angles from many serials. Feel sad. SBKM had such a good start. If this is what they have to do to keep the serial going, we can't blame anyone.

I think actors are contracted for three months in the beginning. Or is it six months? How long is RS's contract? I am looking for signs from him to see where this story is going. My feeling is that if it gets too bad, he will quit.

I also agree with you that Kaamna is emerging as a very good actor. It's only her voice which is too thick and she speaks in a low volume.

Since the concept is decent - I think the story will be "different" from the regular saas bahu soaps and I have no idea what the contract lengths are for...we are past the 3 month mark of the serial. Artists have so many different reasons for performing. I have a friend who acts in indie cinema (US) who started writing for and performing in children's theater after she had her two little kids. There is another who spends her time seasonally at a children's theme park in some garish costumes simply because for a brief length of time it gives her the monetary backup to travel with a serious Shakespearean group. For many artists, assaying a popular, even cheesy role leads to better patronage and opportunities...serious roles can have a very limited, highly niched audience that doent necessarily showcase their skills (sort of the adage - 'jungle mein mor naacha par kisne dekha')...the runaway success of Star Wars with its tinfoil clad actors and incredibly tacky dialogues led to great careers for many in the cast (some not so good actors included). Hugh Laurie a 'serious' actor found big fame only after he starred in the soap "House, M.D." - though the soap contains some decent drama in spurts, Laurie's character does not change very much from episode to episode (boring for someone of his caliber)...so who knows...we as viewers can watch, speculate and discuss about artistes and serials and eventually flip the channel if bored...

See i come to know abt rahul singh after watching this show skbm before that i saw zubeida but i dont recognize him .Rahul singh definately make a good name after performing brij character his fan following really increase through this show .i m sure after skbm we will def see him working with big PH like balaji etc.
