BBP drops in at the hospital bearing flowers to see Sumitra (Pooja's mom). The family is pleased to see him and thanks him. As the Tiwaris thank him effusively, BBP graciously says that he did for Sumitra what he would have for his own mother and leaves shortly. There is a sweetly mischievous exchange of looks between Bri-Ja after he gets up to leave.
As the star struck Pooja sees him out, he advises her on conquering her fears. Arrey Pooja this is the time to ask "Brijji, Quo Vadis? do we have a future or not?".. He lauds her for having conquered her stage fright and says that one has to draw on one's inner strength to confront fears. He then says even a ferocious bully like a tiger is quaking in fear when confronted; only it has gained control on the emotion.
He then tells her that he is leaving for Gwalior for 3-4 days and would she like to sing for a radio program in Gwalior. Pooja (starry eyed) responds that she is indeed interested and will consult with her family about it. BBP leaves and Pooja stand in the hospital foyer lost in thought till Aarthi taps on her shoulder. Pooja informs her sister that she is going to Gwalior for a radio show. She tells her sister that she now knows that fame and fortune are important - they can help her family see better days.
As they head back into Sumitra's room, smearing some token color to mark holi, Pooja gets a call from the academy director telling her that Daddaji has invited the troupe over to his house to celebrate Holi. The family suggests that she go - after all BBP has done so much for them.
At Daddaji's haveli, he is in his diwan-e-khaas with the prowling tiger picture on the wall. Giridhar and BBP are seated in attendance in the court. People clad in white are felicitating daddaji about Holi by placing gulaal at his feet. Daddaji and Giridhar discuss that they have invited the troupe to celebrate their Mauritius success. Giridhar gives BBP a sneaky glance. BBP frantically texts Shamsher to stall Pooja.
Immediately Shamsher rings up Pooja at the hospital obliquely suggesting that she not go since Rangoli (daddaji's daughter) will be present and might end up humiliating pooja - something that BBP had not liked. Though Pooja decides not to go, mammiji arrives on the scene and tells her that she definitely must - daddaji is renowned for his Holi gatherings. All kinds of important people make an appearance and it is a good opportunity to schmooze with VIPs. Pooja decides to go after all albeit somewhat reluctantly.
The scene switches to Daddaji's haveli. A priest, Daddaji, ammaji, BBP and Rangoli are standing in front of an altar clad in white. After prayers, Daddaji applies gulaal to his overgrown brat and advises her to take care of her marital life and give respect to her husband. At this juncture, I am assuming that the hearts of all Brija lovers have started collectively plummeting. Rangoli quips that she has returned only to see her dad, not her marriage or husband. BBP (very hot in white) looks on like he has swallowed neem juice. Daddaji asks BBP to make Rangoli understand. He responds saying that one can only teach the ignorant, not somebody who is wise in the ways of the world like Rangoli. Daddaji is called away to greet guests (the chief minister has arrived). BBP's phone rings and falls. He bends to pick it up and bumps into a servant who runs in with a platter full of color. She slips and douses Bungoli with color. Rangoli is covered in color and BBP has some splattered on his face. He looks aghast and is expecting to see the murder of the servant who is quivering and shivering on the floor, scrambling to gather the scattered color.
Rangoli glares at the servant and then laughs maniacally addressing BBP as pati dev (I am sooo very sorry to break this to you guys!!š š) and sarcastically commending him for unknowingly breaking his vow of never playing Holi with her (why is she not committed to an asylum already? no attic in the haveli or what?). She grabs a fist full of color and throws it on him. BBP looks like he might throw up some neem juice onto Rangoli to finish playing Holi when he glances over her shoulder and spots Pooja making an entrance wearing a white dress (similar to episode 1). As usual the babe looks around cluelessly..
The precap shows Rangoli chasing Giridhar with color, she runs into Pooja and ends up throwing color on her instead. A little lunch box (with gujia?) falls open on the floor. Rangoli mocks Pooja saying that somewhere their horoscopes must intersect because Pooja keeps crossing her path all the time..
Guess its is time for our Pachmarhi princess to grow up š. Wonder if she finds out her Pati-Patni-Woh status by tomorrow. Also, the serial seems to be getting back to a better quality...the scene transitions were smoother, the choppiness is gone in this episode...
