Recap; Aarti agrees to meet with Siddharth and his parents. They come and are saccharine sweet to Pooja's parents but it is shown they are EVIL!!!😡
They decide on a quick engagement with rings.
Summary;
Morning, Tiwary is tensed about the engagement expenses, but Sumitra calms him down.
They inform Pooja about the engagement. She requests Krish for 2-days leave who permits her to go. Daddaji is tensed about the Hoshangabad elections but Brij tells him he has a plan.
As an excited Pooja gets ready to leave, Maamaji informs her that she won't be able to go as there is curfew in Panchmadhi and Hoshengabad due to some political trouble.
Krish who has a friend in some travels informs her the same. Pooja is depressed.
Detailed Update:
Panchwadhi:
Tiway has a notebook open and is scribbling in it. Ma passing by sees this, and comments on it.
She comes and sits by his side as Tiwary closes the book
"Your daughters are intelligent. If they see you with this, they will be worried as well. Do you want that?"
"I have closed it now, haven't I?" Tiwary replies.
He tells her he is tensed about Aarti's engagement and the ring that they have to buy for Siddharth. He wonders how he will find the money for it. Ma says she has a solution. She brings forth a gold chain that her grandmother had given her for her wedding.
"My grandmother used to say when its time for new things, it is better to get rid of the old things. This helps in the budget and also makes sure that the house isn't crowded with things."
She tells him. She gives him the chain and tells him to buy the ring after selling the chain.
Tiwary doesn't agree. "It is ""Sthridhan", blessings from your elders. How can you give it away?"
"Its "Sthridhan". And if it doesn't come in hand, then whats the use of "Sthridhan?"" Ma replies 😔
Tiwary agrees to take the chain to the gold smith. He comments that he has almost forgotten the way there. Last time he went was to get something for the daughters when they were born.
He then looks sadly at his wife and says he never got anything for her in all these years.
Ma smiles and replies to get her a diamond necklace when he gets lots of money.
She gets up and says she will make a cup of tea and they will share it in half. She then takes the notebook and tears away the paper with the accounts.
When she leaves, Tiwary looks up and wishes that Mahadev grants everyone a wife like her.😊
She is happy with what she has. Doesn't ask for a thing.
At Daddaji's House;
Daddaji is sitting in his Diwan. Brij is sitting on one side while Giridhar on the other.
Brij asks him for how long will he stay silent. He asks Daddaji to speak. If he has any anger towards him then to blast him but not stay silent.
Daddaji says that he is tensed about the Hoshangabad elections. His sources have told him that everyone is posed to vote for Sangram Singh's daughter in law. They have poisoned the people's mind towards them.
Giridhar yells that Brij is busy organizing a music session in his office while all this is going on.
If everything goes to hell, he will probably start a business with it.
Daddaji asks Giridhar to keep quiet and asks Brij if he has a solution.
Giridhar again shouts that if he has a suggestion he will probably tell that to Shansher. That Shamsher is more aware of happenings than him or Daddaji.
Brij says he has a strategy but is not willing to share it as things are such that the less people that know the better. He assures Daddaji that Daddaji will get the seat.
Maamaji's house:
Pooja is packing when Maami comes with a tin of snacks to eat on the way.
Pooja asks her what was the need for it, Maami says its no worry. She makes small talk about the engagement when the phone rings. Maami picks up the phone and finds Aarti on the other end
"Aarti Beta? How are you".
Aarti replies she is fine.
Maami tells her she should visit sometime now that Pooja is there.
Aarti raises her eyebrows obviously non- plussed.
Maami gives the phone to Pooja'
Aarti asks Pooja what happened? When did the season change in Maamaji's house? How did Komolika turn into Parvati 😆. Pooja smiles. Aarti says that she had told everyone that she won't have the engagement if Pooja doesn't come. They share a sweet moment.
Evening:
Pooja is packed and ready to go home. She can barely contain her happiness and excitement.
The doorbell rings and Pooja smiles . Maamaj comes and sits on the sofa. Pooja excitedly tells him that she is ready to go. Maamaji tells her sorrowfully that she had better unpack.
There is some trouble in Hoshengabad and Panchmadhi and curfew has been declared. No bus is going up or down.
Pooja lets the bag fall from her hand and stares at her Maamaji.
Maamiji is happy that they don't have to go to Panchmadhi anymore and mentions the same to Maamaji.
Pooja goes to Brij's office and talks to Bhavna. Bhavna tells Pooja that Krissh has a friend in some travels and calls him over. Krissh tells Pooja that his friend said due to some politically based trouble in the area, no bus is going towards Panchmadhi.
