I am getting confused, what is one trying to prove here. Last week's rise in TRP was due to disabled group. Fine. A week before that with lesser TRP (2.5) belongs to RaBir. Have I understood correctly? Let me go with the same logic. That is the the base minimum (2.5 TRP) RaBir can generate (in cricket season). That is still greater than the base minimum Mayan could generate (which was equal to or less than TRP of 2).

Each of us have our own favourite pairs. But TRP does not come from hotness of the couple. It depends on how good the track is, how much the track can hold viewer's curiosity. Television has witnessed much bigger stars and hotter couples in its history. All those shows had to be shown door at some stage due to low TRPs. The same couple could not create the same magic with crappy tracks. I do ship RaBir. But that will not make me say, Kabir and Rachna honeymoon would garner high TRPs . People's interest gets faded by then.

Not that married people cannot have high TRP tracks. But usually, that is not based on romance. SSLK creatives are good at creating high voltage drama. But when it comes to creating drama out of daily routine, soaps like DABH does better.
