Chapter: 26

7 YEARS LATER

Over these 7 years Ragvir and Salekh have taken good care of their kids. Now its the birthday of Khushi and Karthik.

Sadhana was setting up decorations for the twins birthday when she heard 2 sweet voices saying Mama. Its her 2 sweetie pies the twins. She kneels down and hugs them. Sadhana: happy birthday my cutie pies. U are 7 years now. Go play until your party starts. The bell rings. Its Alekh who came with the cake. Sadhana: Alekh i will go and get the kids gifts. Alekh: Okay jaan. She comes back. Sadhana: Look. I got this beautiful dress for Khushi and some jewelerries. For Karthik this kurta and shalwar. And we will give them their baby photos. Alekh: i also got them some teddies.

IN THE KIDS ROOM

Salekh stand outside watching their children proudly. Karthik, Khushi: Mama,Papa. Alekh: Look. We got u some gifts. Khushi: Thank u mama, papa. But for me the most precious one is our baby photos. Karthik: For me too. Sadhana: Welcome my cute babies. Alekh: Anything for u. Sadhana: Okay i will dress u in your birthday clothes.

IN THE PARTY

Ragvir arrive with Sharma and Kaushalya. Khushi: nana ji nani ji mama ji mami ji. Ranvir: hello my cute niece and nephew. Here are your gifts. Ragini hugs them. Happy Birthday. Tamanna: Happy birthday Khushi and Kartik. Tushar: Happy Birthday. Vasu: this day is very special for all of us.

The light goes dark. For my kids and my beautiful wife Sadhana

Intezaar kab tak hum karenge bhala (dancing with her)
Tumhe pyaar kab tak na karenge bhala (dancing with her)

Ik chota sa vaada iss umar se zyada sachcha hai sanam
Har mod par saath iss liye rehte hain ab dono
Dosti do pal ki, zindagi do pal ki

2 cakes: 1 for each. They blow the candles at the same time. Alekh holds Karthik's hand and Sadhana Khushi's. They cut the cakes. Khushi feeds Sadhana and vice versa. Karthik feeds Alekh and vice versa. Karthik feeds Sadhana and vice versa. Khushi feeds Alekh and vice versa. Finally Alekh and Sadhana feed each other. They cut out pieces of cake for the guests.Alekh: Khushi and Karthik go and play with Tamanna and Tushar and your other friends.

Sadhana: Bhai what a coincidence that Tamanna and Tushar have the same birth date.

RAJVANSH HOUSE

Sadhana: Alekh wake up. Alekh pulls her and gets her on the bed. Alekh: But why jaan? Sadhana: We have to go and buy the gifts for Tushar and Tamanna. He gets up. Alekh: lets go.

SHARMA HOUSE

Papa, Papa. Ranvir smiles as its his 2 angels. He hugs both. "Happy Birthday my girl Tamanna and my boy Tushar" Tushar: Papa, where is mama? Ranvir: She is in the kitchen making food. Lets go and surprise her. They go to Ragini and scream: mama. She puts her hand near her heart and says: Oh god u scared me. I know u told them to do this Ranvir. Ranvir puts his innocent face. She hugs her kids. Happy Birthday my sweetie pies. Go and play now.

AT THE PARTY

Tamanna: Look Sadhana mami ji, Alekh mama ji , Khushi and Karthik. Sadhana: Happy Birthday Tamanna, Happy Birthday Tushar. Here are your gifts. Alekh: Happy Birthday to both. Tamanna & Tushar: Thank u mamiji , thank u mama ji. The kids hug each other and wish Tamanna and Tushar. Ragini: Bhai, Sadhana. They hug. Sadhana: Where is bhai? Ragini: I dont know.

Ranvir: Tamanna, Tushar did u like our dance? Tushar & Tamanna: yes papa. Ragini: wah bhai you sing well Alekh: You too Ragini. Ranvir: Sadi i did not know u could sing? Sadhana: I only sing when i want to.

They cut their cakes and feed each other and their parents. Ranvir puts cake on Ragini's face and she chases him. Bauji: They are the 7 year olds not u too. Alekh does the same and faces Sadhana's wrath as she chases him as well. She joins with Ragini trying to find Alekh and Ranvir. Alekh: Im scared. Ranvir: So am i. These girls can kill u if u spoil their make up. Alekh and Ranvir creep out of their hiding place but Sagini spot them. Sadhana: Alekh u will see when we get home. Ragini: Let the guests leave Ranvir. They run away. They laugh. The girls make them promise that they would do what ever they want and the put make up on them which they cant remove until the next morning. The girls are laughing so much.
