Morning at Rajvansh house has always been a busy one; everyone trying to make it on time to their respective destinations. Anmol was leaving for Kanpur for a business meeting for few days today; Ragini was packing his clothes while Sakshi was getting the kids ready for school. Vasy, Inderjeet, and Gunni were already at the breakfast table.
Alekh: Sakshi, mujhe meri file nahi mil rahi hai, zara dekhna please. Anmol ko voh file chahiye hogi meeting ke liye.
Sakshi: Aap Sahil ko zara dekhiye, main abhi file dhoondh deti hoon.
Alekh watched Sahil who was in his cradle giggling and getting amused by the toys hanging on it while Sakshi looked for the file in the cabinet.
Sakshi: Alekh ji, yehi file hai kya?
Alekh: Are haan, tumhe kahan mili?
Sakshi: Yahi cabinet main thi.
Alekh: Mera bhi dhyaan pata nahi kahan hai, khair Thanks. Chalo naashta karlein. Chalo Tammy, Khushi.
On the other hand, Anmol had gotten ready and he was looking at Ragini who was making sure Anmol has everything.
Ragini: Anmol, aapki files main yahan suitcase ke peeche rakhi hain taan ki voh safe rahein.
Anmol: Thank you, Ragini. Abh chalein? Main bachon aur Gunni ko chodkar vahi se seedha nikal jaunga kanpur ke liye.
Ragini: Jee chaliye, naashta tayar hai aur maine gaadi main bhi khaane ka samaan rakhwa diya hai, bahar se khaane ki jaroorat nahi hai.
Anmol smiled how she takes care of every single thing and silently followed her downstairs. After finishing breakfast, he decided to leave as he had to reach Kanpur on time.
Anmol: Okay bacha party lets go, aapko school chodkar mujhe bhi kaam par jaana hai and I will see you after 2 days.
Tammy: Papa, aap to office se shaam ko aa jate ho
Anmol: Haan beta par aaj papa office nahi Kanpur ja rahe hain
Khushi: To partner humain school kaun chodega?
Anmol: Are bhai aapki maasi maa, choti maa, papa kitne log hai. Don't worry main jaldi aa jaunga.
Alekh: Anmol, yeh voh file hai jisme contract ke papers hain aur meeting ke baad phone kardena mujhe.
Anmol: Thanks bhaiya, jaise hi meeting main kuch decide hota hai main apko inform kardunga.
He then took blessings from Vasu and Inderjeet before leaving.
Inderjeet: God bless beta and all the best.
Vasu: Good luck aur apna khayal rakhna aur pahunchkar phone karna.
Anmol: Jee mummy, I will. Allright I should take leave now.
Ragini walked outside with Anmol. Gunni sat in front while kids sat in the back seat.
Ragini: Dhayan se jayiyega aur drive slowly; aur pahunchte hi mujhe phone kijiyega aur.....
Anmol: Are bas bas main sirf 2 dino ke liye ja raha hoon; don't worry main apna khayal rakhoonga aur phone karta rahunga. Tum bhi apna khayal rakhna; don't miss me too much.
Ragini smiled and blushed at his comment. Saying this, he sat in the car and drove off. She waved saying bye to him and walked inside. She was organizing her closet when her cell phone rang and it was Kaushalya; Ragini was catching up with her telling her about Anmol's trip and Gunni's job as Ragini didn't get a chance to go visit them lately. On other hand, Gunni and Abhay just finished their presentation and it was now lunch break.
Abhay: I am starving; chalo lets go out for lunch. Yahan pass hi main acha chinese restaurant hai, you must try it.
Gunni: Haan sahi baat bhookh to mujhe bhi bahut lagi hai, lets go.
They left office and arrived at the restaurant shortly. After being seated, a waiter came to get their order.
Waiter: What can I get for you?
Abhay & Gunni: Veg chinese noodles with manchurian
They exchanged smile after ordering the same thing together and the waiter served them shortly.
Abhay: Tumhe yaad hai Gunni, hum college ki canteen main bhi noodles order kiya karte the
Gunni: Ofcourse, oh those college days were the best. Yaad hai ek baar us waiter ne sare noodles tum par gira diye the
Abhay and Gunni laughed remembering that scene when a waiter got pushed by another waiter and he spilled the noodles on Abhay's shirt.
Abhay: Haan aur kaise sabh ne mera mazaak udaaya tha, wakya hi voh din kamaal ke din the. We had so much fun. Abh to sabh apni apni life main busy hain; thank god I atleast found you.
Gunni: Maine to kabhi socha hi na tha ki main tumhe dubara aise milungi aur upar se humari families bhi ek doosre ko jaante hain.
Abhay: Small world indeed. So, hows everyone at home?
Gunni: Sabh theek as usual, chachu aaj business meeting ke liye Kanpur gaye hain.
Abhay: Oh ok that's good, your chachu and chachi are really nice.
Gunni: Haan main aur chachu, we are best friends and I get along really well with chachi also.
Abhay: Well, I am done. Tumhe kuch aur chahiye?
Gunni: Nahi bas I am also done, office jakar mujhe voh Sharma client se bhi milna hai.
Abhay: Haan badi mushkil se usse appointment li hai, ek number ka khadoos banda hai voh. Let's go, tum chalo main bill pay karke aata hoon.
Gunni: Kisne kaha ki bill tum de rahe ho?
Abhay: Are its ok aur waise bhi our first lunch is on me.
Gunni: Okay fine, but next time its on me.
Abhay went to the pay the bill while Gunni was standing outside in the parking lot waiting for Abhay. She was checking her messages on her phone when suddenly a guy approached her with knife in his hand.
Gunni shrieked immediately as she wasn't expecting someone to just come to her.
Guy: Ae jaldi se jo kuch hai nikaal.
Abhay was walking outside when he saw some guy messing aroung with Gunni, he quickly ran upto Gunni who was scared as the guy had pointed knife at her. Abhay put his arm around Gunni and held her close.
Guy: Ae shaane nataunki band kar aur maal nikaal.
Abhay grabbed him by the collar and he tried to throw away his knife. In admist of this scene, Abhay's right hand got injured with knife and was now bleeding. He punched the guy who quickly ran away knowing that Abhay has his knife now and could beat him. Abhay threw the knife and went to Gunni who was still in a shock.
Abhay: Gunni, are you okay? Don't worry chala gaya voh.
Gunni silently nodded her head and they both sat in the car. Gunni suddenly noticed Abhay's hand and she immediately grabbed his hand.
Gunni: Abhay tumhare haath se khoon nikal raha hai, kya jaroorat thi usse hathaapayi karne ki, tumhe jayada lag jaati to. Use bas paise dekar chod dete
While shes saying this, she took a handkerchief from her purse and tied it to his hand and Abhay just looked at her.
Abhay: Are tum kamaal kar rahi ho, voh chaakoo lekar tumhare pass aaya aur tum chahiti ho ki main usse aise hi chod deta aur waise bhi agar paise de bhi deta, voh kalko kisi aur ke saath bhi aisa hi karta.
Then they drove off to office and upon reaching at office, Gunni tied proper bandage to his hand and went to attend her meeting with the client. Upon finishing the meeting, Abhay dropped her home and headed home himself. Gunni was narrating Ragini and others at dinning table about what happened earlier in the day and how Abhay took the risk to that fight that goon. Ragini got worried but got assured when Gunni told her that shes okay and Abhay as well. On other hand, Abhay's parents noticed bandage on his hand as well.
Gautami: Abhay, yeh tumhare haath main bandage?
Abhay: Haan maa bas kuch nahi aise hi mamooli si chot hai.
Ram: Par choti lagi kaise?
Abhay narrated them the scene; they were happy that he saved Gunni's life.
Ram: Beta, its good that you stood up for Gunni par tumhe itna risk nahi lena chahiye tha, paise dekar matter khatam kar dete. Khair, agli baar aisa kuch ho to risk mat lena.
Abhay: Jee papa
Ragini had put kids to bed and Gunni was asking her if Anmol had called.
Gunni: Chachu ka koi phone aaya?
Ragini: Nahi abhi tak to nahi, aap to jaanti hain na apne Chachu ko, kaam main itna busy ho jaate hain ki baki sabh bhool jaate hain.
Gunni: My poor chachi is waiting for his call
And just then Ragini's cell beeped with Anmol's name flashing on the screen.
Gunni: Ooh what a timing, well I should leave you two to talk and go to sleep. Goodnight Chachi
Ragini: Gunni aap bhi na bas, Goodnight.
Smilingly she picked up the phone.
Ragini: Hello
Anmol: Sorry Ragini, kanpur pahunchte hi itna busy ho gaya ki time nahi mila phone karne ka. Bas abhi hotel room pahuncha hoon dinner karke clients ke saath
Ragini: Mujhe maloom tha ki aap kaam main busy honge, meeting kaisi rahi?
Anmol: Apni taraf se to maine clients ko satisfy kar diya baaki jab deal final hogi tab hi pata chalega. Khair, bache kaise hain aur ghar main sabh?
Ragini: Bachon ko abhi sula diya aur baki bhi sabh theek hain. Maa ka bhi phone aaya tha apke jane ke baad, apke bare main pooch rahi thi.
She also Anmol about her incident today and how Abhay had helped her.
Anmol: That was really nice of Abhay aur Gunni theek to hai?
Ragini: Jee voh theek hai, Gunni bata rahi thi ki bas Abhay ke haath main thodi chot aayi thi
Anmol: Ragini, aap Abhay se milkar use thanks kijiyega, usne Gunni ki itni madad ki.
Ragini: Jee main bhi yehi soch rahi thi, kal subah jab Gunni ko office drop karungi tab Abhay se bhi mil loongi.
Anmol: Acha Ragini, mujhe subah meeting ke liye jaldi uthna hai aur agar jaldi kaam ho gaya to main shaam ko hi kanpur si nikal jaunga aur kal raat tak ghar pahunch jaunga. Aap bhi araam kijiye. Goodnight.
Ragini: Yeh to achi baat hai, aap phone kar dijiyega agar shaam ko nikal rahe hain to. Goodnight.
Anmol: Sure, Bye Ragini.
Ragini: Bye.
Next morning, Ragini dropped the kids to school and later reached Gunni's office to drop her to work. Gunni texted Abhay asking if he is at office already and he replied that he just got in and is in the cabin.
Gunni: Chachi, Abhay already cabin main hai. Chaliye aap wahan hi mil lijiye aur main apko apna office bhi dikha deti hoon.
Ragini followed Gunni and Gunni showed her around and entered her cabin.
Gunni: Hi, Abhay.
Abhay turned around to see Gunni along with her Chachi.
Abhay: Hi Gunni. Are aap..... namaste.
Ragini: Namaste.
Gunni: Chachi yahan tumse milne aayi hain especially.
Abhay: Mujhse especially..... koi kaam tha?
Gunni: Haan tumhe daatne aayi hain.
Abhay was confused and he was just looking at Ragini wondering what he had done. Ragini shook her head at Gunni's behaviour of joking around with Abhay which had scared the poor guy.
Ragini: Nahi yeh Gunni to bas aise hi mazaak kar rahi hai, main to bas yahan aapse thanks kehne aayi thi.
Abhay: Thanks kisliye
Ragini: Voh jo kal aapne....
Abhay: Are isme thanks wali kaunsi baat hai, wahan Gunni ke ilava koi aur bhi hota to main aise hi karta. Aap yahan especially sirf thanks kehne aayi hain, aap please mujhe sharminda mat kijiye. No need for thanks.
Ragini: Phir bhi aapne itna risk liya, aapka haath abh kaisa hai?
Abhay: Bas choti si chot hai, its getting better. Aap bilkul chinta mat kijiye. Are aap baithiye to sahi, main coffee order karta hoon.
Ragini: Nahi bas main chalungi, darasal mujhe maa ke ghar bhi jana hai unse milne aur aap bhi apna kaam continue kijiye.
Abhay: OK phir next time kabhi. Namaste.
Ragini: Namaste
Gunni walked her outside and went back to work in the cabin. Ragini went to her parents house and spent few hours there as she hadn't met her maa and bauji since long time. Shortly after, Ragini left to pick the kids from school and headed home. It was evening around 5 pm when Anmol called Ragini again.
Anmol: Hi Ragini, maine yeh bataane ke liye phone kiya ki main bas abhi kanpur se nikal raha hoon aur takreeban 10 baje tak pahunch jaunga apke paas.
Ragini: Iska matlab contract mil gaya?
Anmol: Haan contract mil gaya, meeting main finalized ho gaya tha project
Ragini: Congratulations, apki mehnat rang le hi aayi. Sabh bahut khush honge yeh jaankar aur yeh jaankar ki aap ghar jaldi aa rahe hain.
Anmol: Aur aap?
Ragini (smiled and blushed): Sabh mein, main bhi shaamil hoon.
Anmol (smiled): Ok phir I will see you shortly. Bye
Ragini: Bye.
Ragini informed everyone that Anmol got the contract and he will be arriving at night. Alekh and Inderjeet were glad to hear that. It was now 11 pm but Anmol wasn't there yet; Inderjeet told Ragini its probably due to construction on the highway to kanpur thats taking him little long. They were all sitting in the hall when phone rang and Inderjeet received the call. The call had caused his face to turn pale all of a sudden and he shouted "What". Everyone rushed to him wondering what happened; he looked at Ragini with a worried face. Ragini felt something weird inside her.
Ragini: Papa jee kya hua, kiska phone tha?
Inderjeet (stuttering): Anmol.....
Ragini: Kya hua Anmol ko, Papa jee. Boliye na?
Vasu: Inderjeet batayiye na kiska phone tha aur kya hua Anmol ko.
Inderjeet: Anmol....... ka............ Accident!!!!!!
