I've said that it was not exactly "romancing" in my earlier post. It was eerie in with dark patches. Did not feel comfortable at all ... the way Ranvir was saying those things and the way Ragini was reacting ... words with body language, tone - change alot.
As for coming back to sugar syrups just within month's of the SOUL'S death ... simply doesnt compute to me. She was like ... lost and devastated. Its not even been a year ... its been a few months only.
One turns towards life ... but when two people are so intense (one body two soul ... if that really is true) ALOT ALOT ALOT changes ... and people change ... but the change they showed in the telephone convo was like - turning to the DARKER SIDES OF MIND.
You know when it hurts most? ... When a brother who turned well AGAIN goes looney! ... One can have a perfectly normal life when ones beloved brother was always a mad man. But then when he slowly moves back to normalcy ... it raises alot of hopes and satisfaction. A U-Turn from there can make one feel shocked and grieved. Alekh's TURNING BACK into a looney is wayyyyy different than his previous position (e.g. bringing a mug of water close to the lips of a parched man ... and then quickly throwing that water right on the ground. It hurts more than being thirsty and without water at all).
We cannot really generalise the extent of Ranvir and Ragini's feelings with the feelings of everyday families. Even in everyday families, the RETURN TO NORMALCY (specially within months) after the death of important relations is different. Nothing is uniform in this world ... not a single thing (not even a circle drawn by geometry set).
The magnamity of Ragini's feelings towards Sadhna ... the desperation and longing. The words and the stage ... doesnt match this Ragini's reaction, that too within months. There are examples of such desperate losses and how people have their lives changed forever. Thus, its really very uneven in Ragini's case ... or Ranvir's case.
Regarding Khushi and Tamanna ... her choosing to feed Khushi first ... I do think that it was a wonderful move... but not enough to show her depth. She did not change at all from being the a person who would remain quiet to whatever Vasu does (right or wrong). She remains the person who always try to keep away from the heat.
Ragini would always be expected to feed Khushi first anyways ... so its not something really motivating or a new addition to her self.
One cannot relate Ragini or Ranvir or their surroudings and behavior patterns with themselves. Their ones are totally different. Something which might be normal for TOM might be unthinkable for DICK.
To me... as I can see to many more ... this whole thing was eerie ... and very disastreous to Ragini or Ranvir's image ... specially Ranvirs, because his image was always clear. While it just adds up to Ragini ... doing no improvement there.
