I think everyone is responsible for their own pain in one way or another. Alekh is indeed doing injustice to Malika by not telling her the whole truth of what happen and that he still has feelings for Sadhna and not Malika. However, its Malika fault also for blindly falling in love with a married man, then not asking about his divorce, and not wondering how can he move on so fast? Its her life also, and if she want to becareless then the pain that she will recieve at the end of this stituation will be nothing but her own fault. Alot of things in life are out of our hand and at the mercy of situations and god. Sadhna had things in her hand until she fell to the ground, when she lost and was left no where to turn, everything went out of her hands. I see her last decision not as her picking Alekh over Mamiji, but choosing life over death. There is no way I would consider that as selling her husband. And if one wants to call it that, well then Vasu bought her son. Now, for Alekh, everything was always in his hand and still are. He chooses to be blind sighted by his ego and his mothers love. Malika also has everything in her hand but is also like Alekh is blinded by love. So for me they are more at blame then Sadhna is for their own pain.
