Does anyone remember the significance of "alta" which Ragini borrowed from Sdahna in the function. Alta is a "shringer" object and is used to adorn by the Suhagans. Its an immense important object for makeup in a dance festival.

I feel the significance of this "Alta" incident was to show again how Sadhna helps to complete Ragini's any missing need either directly or indirectly.

can someone elaborate more on this?

I was waiting for you to open up a topic on Alta.....I was thinking to myself...if anyone it will be Bani that has something very symbolic to say about that small situation in the episode.....I was thinking about the same thing.....out of all things why forget Alta.....it could have been kajal or just something simple as a comb........or something else......why alta?..........as you said alta is adorned by Suhagans and also put on the feet and hands of dancers so that the movement of the hand and feet are seen more clearly...........but in this case I think it symbolizes "Suhag"............All that is left for Sadhna is her suhag...alekh.....by giving away the Alta..it symbolizes again that Sadhna will once more scrafice what is her's...this time her suhag.....signing the divorce papers..........though I hope this does not come out to be true......I actually wanted to bring up this topic but didn't want to ruin the mood of the beautiful track..........so for me I think this is the importance of the Alta in this current track.........It symbolizes Sadhna's suhag...which will be another happiness that will be scarificed by her....but now it will leave her with nothing......hence empty feet..........

Thanks Taral for explaining it in such a nice way. It just shows how selfless she is.
