Chapter 19
Saadhna gets out of her bed, and stretches out as she yawns. Saadhna thinks 'arrey aaj toh ragini ka competition hai, use phone karke best of luck toh bol doon." Saadhna picks her phone up and dials Ragini's number. RagVir are doing final rehearsals. Ragini's phone rings. Ragini excuses herself and rushes to answer her phone. Ragini says "hello, saadhna." Saadhna smiles and says "shukar hai tujhe main yaad toh hoon, mujhe laga tu bhool gayi." Ragini says "Saadhna kya keh rahi ho tum?" saadhna says 'aur nahi toh kya, 3 din hogaye tujhe gaye huye, par tune ek baar bhi phone nahi kiya. Toh maine socha main hi karloon." Ragini chuckles. Saadhna says 'aur bata teri practice kaisi chal rahi hai?" Ragini says "Fantastic, abhi final rehearsals chal rahe the, dekhna aaj duet round toh hum hi jeetenge." Saadhna says "bhagwaan kare tu hi jeete." Ragini smiles and says "Kaash tum yahaan hoti, mera performance dekhne ke liye." Saadhna says "arrey, main wahaan nahin hoon iska matlab yeh nahi, ki maine teri performance miss kardi. Aaj sham ko yeh dance competition live dikhayenge TV pe, tu whaan perform karna, aur main ghar pe baithke tere liye cheer karungi. Theek hai?" Ragini smiles. Sadhna says "acha ab tu practice kar, main tujhe sham ko competition ke baad phone karungi. Theek hai?" ragini says 'theek hai, ab main phone rakhti hoon, sabko mera pyaar dena. Okay. Bye." Saadhna says bye and hangs up. Saadhna smiles and leaves to have a shower.

At th Rajvansh mansion. Vasu, inderjit and alekh are sitting on the dining table having breakfast. The phone rings. Vasu says 'hum dekhte hai." Vasu answers the phone. It's Kaushi. Vasu smiles and says "Arrey kaushalya ji, aap. Namaste.kahiye kaise yaad kiya aapne' Aalekh quickly turns around to see Vasu and smiles. Kaushlaya greets her and says "Ji maine aapko aaj sham ko dinner pe invite karne ke liye phone kiya tha.' Vasu says "dinner pe?" Kaushi says "Ji, aap free toh hain na...sham ko?" Vasu smiles and says 'Ji kaushalya ji, hum sham ko zaroor aayenge, bhai ab toh humein bahaana chahiye apni hone waali bahu se milne ka.' Kaushalya smiles and says 'Ji zaroor, aap hi ki beti hai. Acha toh sham k 6 baje?' Vasu says "ji kaushalya ji, hum sham ko 6 baje pohunch jaayenge...haan haan hum aalekh ko bhi lekar aayenge." Aalekh smiles mischievously. Vasu hangs up. Inderjit says "Kya hua vasu? Kaushalya niwas se phone tha?' vasu says "haan kaushalya ji ne phone kiya tha, woh chahte hai ki aaj sham hum sab unke ghar khaane pe jaaye. Toh sham ko aap dono jaldi aa jaaiyega." Inderjit says "Theek hai vasu, hum sham ko jaldi aa jaayenge." Inderjit and Aalekh finish eating their breakfast. Aalekh says 'chalein papa?' Inderjit says 'Haan chalo." They get up and say bye to Vasu and leave.

It's evening. The Rajvansh arrive at the kaushalya niwas. Kaushalya and PC greetthe Rajvanshes. Saadhna is in the kitchen cooking the sweet dish. She hears vasu's voice and says "Aalekh aagaye?" saadhna rushes out of the kitchen to meet him. Vasu asks kaushi "Kaushalya ji, humari saadhna kahaan hai?" kahin nazar nahi a rahi" Kaushlya says "saadhna..." as she looks around and she sees her standing by the dining table. Kaushi says "Yeh rahi. Saadhna tu wahaan kyun khadi hai, yaahaan aake inka aashirwaad lo' Saadhna walks up to them and takes their blessings. PC says "aap khadey kyun hai? Aaiye baithiye.' The rajvansh take a seat.Saadhna says 'main aapke liye kuch chai naaste ka intezaam karti hoon." Malti and Saadhna leave to get drinks and snacks. Vinu says "Papa, aaj ragini aur ranvir ki performance TV pe dikhaa rahe hai. Check karein, shayad shurur hogaya ho." PC says "haan, check karo." Vinu turns the Tv on and begins to search for the channel the competiton is to air on. Vinu accidently skips the channe. Aalekh says 'arrey ek minute bhaiya... zaraa peeche lijiyega." Vinu changes the channel and the competiton is being aired live. Aalekh says "lagta hai abhi shuru hua hai." Saadhna comes back holding a tray with coffee. Saadhna places it on the table and begisn to serve coffee. She gives it to vasu and inderjit first. Saadhna looks at aalekh and gives him a cup of coffee. Aalekh smiles mischievously and takes the cup, holding her hand from below. Saadhna manages to pull her hand away and begins to serve coffee to the rest. Aalekh indicates saadhna to sit next to him. Saadhna looks around and sees there are no other seats, so saadhna goes and sits next to aalekh. Aalekh smiles and looks at saadhna, saadhna aoids looking at aaalekh, but she has a smile. Aalekh slowly moves his hand towards Saadhna and holds her hand. Saadhna smiles shyly still trying to avoid looking at aalekh. They begin to watch the competiton.

The host announces the group performances first. After a few performance She announces IPM college (RagVir's college) they do their group dance on various songs. They had a combination on classical along with hip hop. The judges watch their performance and give them marks. The first round is done. She now informs about duet performances and calls out to the ST Xavier's college of Mumbai. A couple does their performance on bachna ae haseeno. Then another college is called, they do their performance on dhoom again, the girl loses her balance and she falls down, therefore she gets disqualified. During the performances, Ragini is getting dressed. She is wearing her costume. She has her hair in a bun, and has a lily flower in her hair on the left side. Ragini is applying make up. She wears her bangles, and jewellery. Saniha enters saying "Ragini jaldi kar, agli baari teri aur ranvir ki hai." Ragini quickly puts her bangles on and says "bas 2 minute." Ragini grabs her dupatta, and leaves for the stage.
The host says "aur ab baari hai humare final contests ki performance ki, jo ki hai delhi ke IPM college se. So ladies and Gentlemean, may I have a huge round of applause for Ranvir Rajvansh and Ragini Sharma from IPM college." Everyone begins to clap, and Saadhna cheers for RagVir. Aalekh looks at saadhna surprisingly and saadhna quiets down and says "woh...woh...maine ragini ko promise kiya tha main uske liye cheer karungi." Aalekh chuckles, and begins to watch the TV again.

He curtains slowly begins to move away, revealing the beautiful set. With a huge double bed in the middle with beautifully decorated just like on first nights 😳 Ranvir is standing on the left side of the stage near the table, while Ragini is sitting in front of the dressing table that is placed on the opposite side to Ranvir's. She's stting their with her face hidden under the duppatta. The music begins to play. And this is the performance that is being done by RagVir. It made my job easier 😆)Aalekh and Saadhna are highly surprised to see such a great performance, and o are everyone else. The performance finishes and the curtains are being drawn slowly. The judges are highly impressed by their perofmance and they give them a standing ovation. Behind the curtains. Ragini looks at Ranvir, and just looks at him. ranvir is just holding her in his arms. Ragini says "Ranvir, performance khatam hogayi hai, ab mujhe chodo." Ranvir is just looking at Ragini. Ragini pushes herself away from ranvir, but Is unable to because her locket is stuck in Ranvir's kurta. Ragini and ranvir both look at ragini's locket. Ragini tries to take her locket out of Ranvir's kurta, but is unable to. Ranvir indicates her that he'll try. Ranvir tires to take out the locket, and succeeds. Ragini backs away and gets up. she begins to fix her dress up, and puts the duppatta on her.

Saadhna says "Main abhi ragini ko phone karti hoon" Saadhna grabs her phone and dials Ragini's number. Nisha comes on the stage and hugs Ranvir and Ragini. Nisha says "OMG, that was fantastic. Dekhna aaj ka competiton hum hi jeetenge." Saniha brings Ragini's phone and says "Ragini, saadhna ka phone hai." Ragini says "saadhna ka." She rushes to saniha and takes the phone off her. Ragini says "hello Saadhna." Saadhna says "Ragini tumhari performance fantastic thi, I swear yahaan toh sabke hosh ude huye hai.Tum dono itna ache lag rahe the ki kya bataun. Sach mein bohut hi khoobsurat performance tha" Ragini laughs and says "mummy papa, ko acha laga?" Saadhna says 'Haan ragini sabko bohut pasand aaya, ma, papa, bhaiya, bhabi, aalekh, mummy ji aur papa ji." Ragini says "ek minute...jija jib hi wahaan hai?" Saadhna smiles and says "haan mamma ne unhe dinner ke liye yahaan invite kiya tha.' Aalekh says 'saadhna, zaraa mujhe bhi phone dena" Saadhna says "ek minute Ragini, aalekh se baat kar." Aalekh takes the phone and says "Hello Ragini." Ragini says 'hello jija ji." Aalekh says 'Ragini tum dono ne toh aaj itna acha perform kiya, mujhe toh pata hi nahi tha ki mera bhai itna acha dancer hai. Seriously yeh award toh aaj aap dono hi jeetenge." Ragini says "Thank you jija ji." Aalekh says "ranvir hain kya wahaan?" Ragini says 'haan ek minute, main abhi bulaati hoon." Ragini calls out to ranvir and informs him that aalekh is on the line. Ranvir takes the phone and talks to aalekh, aalekh praises his performance and wishes him all the best for the results. Ranvir thanks him and hangs up. Ranvir looks at ragini and says "tumne bohut acha kiya." Ragini smiles and says "Tumne bhi."
The host invites the judges to come on the stage and announce the winners, as well as all the college participants. The judges say that all performance were good, one was better than the other. I am proud to say that the winning college this year is without a doubt IPM college, for giving us two exceptional performance. Everyone jumps up with excitement.So does Saadhna and Aalekh. The sharma's and the Rajvansh are really happy hearing the results. Ragini hugs Ranvir and says "We did it" ranvir says 'Yes we did." Ragini realises that she just huges ranvir, she quickly backs away. She clears her throat and stretches out her hand and says "Congrats" ranvir shakes hands with Ragini and says 'Congratulations to you too." Nisha walks up to the judges and takes the shield on behalf of the college. The host says 'that is not all everyone. we also have a special award tonight for the best performer of the night. Judges kya aap bataayenge ki aaj sham best performace ka award kisse diya jaayega?" one of the judges step forward and says "Aaj sham ka best performance ka awar undoubtly goes to RANVIR RAJVANSH AND RAGINI SHARMA OF IPM COLLEGE." Ranvir and Ragini are really surprised. While everyone cheers and claps for them. On the other side saadhna and Aalekh are also completely surprised at this. They look at each other completely surprised. The judge says 'Kyun ki aaj jo inhone ne performance di hai, who marvelous thi, unke expressions, unka dance. It was so Romantic, and realistic. Isiliye hum judges ne yeh decide kiya hai aaj ka best performance ka award in dono ko hi diya jaaye." Nisha looks at RagVir and says "guys, jao." Ranvir and Ragini walk to the judges and take the award from the judges. They get their photo taken. Ranvir and ragini leave he stage. Everyone comes rushing o ranvir and ragini to give them a hug. Saniha hgs Ragini tightly and says 'OMG, I can't believe this. Congrats" Ragini smiles and hugs saniha back and says "I know, I can't believe it myself." Nisha says guys ek group photo ho jaaye?" everyone screams YES. The photographer takes a group photo of them all, and then requests for everyone to leave besides ranvir and ragini. Ranvir and ragini look uncomfortable. They stand beside each other, the photographer requests ranvir to put his arm around ragini, and hold the award with the other hand. Ranvir feels uncomfortable, while ragini has an attitude look. Ranvir puts his arm around Ragini's waist, and holds the award along with ragini with the other hand. The photographer tells them to smile. Both smile and the photographer clicks their few pics and leaves. Ragini pushes Ranvir's hand away and says "woh chala gaya" Ranvir clears his throat. Nisha calls out to Ranvir and Ragini. RagVir joins the rest of the group. Nisha says "Guys, first of all congratulations for winning this competition." Everyone claps. "aur doosri baat, maine kal ek party organise ki hai,aao sab ke liye, humari jeet ke liye." Everyone cheers. "toh guys, aap sab jaake change karlo, so we can get back to the resort. I am very tired. And I think you all must be really tired aswell." "YES" everyone sighs. Everyone leaves to change.

Everyone is sitting in the lounge room. Saadhna is setting up the plates, aalekh comes out of the washroom and sees saadhna. He quietly goes behind her, and turns the plate over, and hides behind saadhna. Saadhna turns around and sees the plate is turned upside down, she turns it over again, while aalekh turns the other plate over. Saadhna looks the otherway and sees the other plate is turned upside down too. Saadhna is surprised and says "huh? Mujhe yeh plate apne aap kaisi ulti hogayi?" she turns the plate again, while aalekh tires to turn the first plate over, saadhna sees his and hand grabs it. Saadhna looks at aalekh and says "Yeh kya hai aalekh?" aalekh says "kuch nahi, bas thoda sa mazaak" 😆 saadhna smiles and says "jao sab ko dinner ke liye bula ke lao." Aalekh says "main kyun jaaun? Tum jao, main toh yahi baithunga." Aalekh sits on one of the chairs. Saadhna sighs and shakes her head. She leaves to call everyone for dinner, but aalekh grabs her and pulls her towards himself. She ends of sitting on his lap. Saadhna says "aalekh chodiye." She manages to pull herself away and runs to call everyone. Everyone sits on the dining table, saadhna and malti begin to serve. Saadhna says "Bhabi aap baith jaaiye, main serve karti hoon." Malti sits down and saadhna begins to serve. Vasu says "saadhna." Saadhna looks at vasu. "Beta ab tum bhi baith jao, agar humein kuch lena hoga toh hum khud lelenge." Saadhna smiles and takes the seat right in front of aalekh. Aalekh smiles mischievously. He moves his feet and tries to tickle saadhna's leg 😆 but he accidently tickles vinu's leg. Vinu begins to laugh. Everyone looks at vinu laugh. Aalekh is looking at saadhna, but saadhna is normal, and just staring at vinu laugh. Vinu indicates aalekh to come closer. Aalekh moves forward, vinu says "Aalekh yeh mera paer hai" Aalekh is shocked and quickly moves his leg back. Vinu giggles 😆 Saadhna just looks on confused. Aalekh begins to eat.
The scene shifts to everyone sitting in the lounge room, saadhna is serving kheer to everyone, she takes a seat right next to aalekh. Saadhna thinks of teasing aalekh. As soon as aalekh is about to take a spoonful of kheer, saadhna pinches him hard on his waist. Aalekh jumps up. Kaushi says 'Kya hua beta?" aalekh shakes his head and says 'kuch nahi." He gives saadhna a look, saadhna tries to stop her laugh. Aalekh is about to take a spoonful of kheer again, and saadhna pinches him hard on his wais. Aalekh jumps up again. Everyone stares at him. Vasu asks "Kya hua?" saadnaa adds 'Haan, kya hua?" aalekh says 'nahi kuch nahi, mujhe aisa laga jaise kuch chuba." He stares at saadhna with his eyes wide open, while saadna giggles. Kaushi says "koi baat nahi beta, tum meri jagah aake baith jao." Aalekh says "nahi ma, main theek hoon." Aalekh sits next to saadhna again. Aalekh whispers "saadhna kya kar rahi ho?" saadhna whispers 'main kya kar rahi hoon? Kuch bhi toh nahi." Aalekh looks around and whispers "toh mujeh pinch karna bandh karo. Lagti hai yaar" saadhna giggles. Aalekh just looks at saadhna.
