hi
i did not like the way sheetal insulted ragini about her colour and family wealth
the way she went on about her daughter her beauty lots of money sounded like she was trying to sell her and not once did it occur to her that money and beauty do not always bring happiness
and do insult ragini on her days coming to her wedding is not nice and it does show something about her upringing in which beauty and wealth is above all
i mean if ranvir did like her daughter than they would have married by know
but to go on like that in someone else house as a guest does show how stupid she is
if vasu friends think like that than they are not friends at all

This Sheetal chick sounded so vacuous and came across as extremely shallow.....but what else were we expecting? She's Vasu's khaas dost after all....😉
And to top it off, we know for a fact (as per the TB article), that she'll make her unceremonious self reappear later on down the track....! Oh joy!

I know right! You are known by company you keep...If Vasu has such a huge ego, as we all know, then obviously she would surround herself around people such as herself...

Sheetal equates her daughter to wealth and beauty....that is apparently what her daughter is worth and that is what Sheetal finds the most important....Sheetal found that Ragini being a "good girl" and the fact that Ranvir loves Ragini all excuses as why Vasu didn't marry Ranvir to her daughter!

That Sheetal hasn't even left yet and I'm already dreading her re-entry🤢

It's strange..... One would expect someone so 'high class' to at least have the intelligence to know there are far more important things in life than 'roop rang'........I mean, what world is she living in? Isn't she supposed to be from America? People are far more liberal and open-minded there when it comes to these things.....unless, hmmmmm, maybe she's a staunch Bush-supporting Republican.......who knows? Only some people in the Southern states have a problem with dark skinned people and foreigners.....but she's an Indian woman for god's sakes, what is her excuse for being so vile and prejudiced towards people of her own ethnicity...?

LOL Shumi, she's not supposed to be from America...she's from Canada....haha.....and they're supposed to be more liberal than the liberalest of Americans up north! ;-) LOL
So obviously we shouldn't expect this to be a realistic depiction of a Canadian/American mindset.
Anyways, even if she's living in Canada...she was obviously originally from India only....so the mindset might be that way cuz of that ;-)
Her excuse is the script....LOL

She's from Canada. I don't know about racism in Canada, but parts of America are liberal. I'm glad I live in California because I do hear bad things about other places besides the South in America. But hey, we can't be that bad if we voted in the first African-American president. I think this Sheetal brought in her whole class mentality to Canada from India. I doubt Canada is that hung up on class anyways! I always find it sad that people insult people from their own culture or ethnicity. Some people never find that true meaning of life and yet they think they do!

@Anu: Oh yeah....Canada....that's right....I heard that she was from one of the North American countries, just didn't pay enough attention to know which one exactly...:-P
I guess it's different when you're brought up in the West than if you just move there at a later age.....I guess it is very difficult to change people's mindset, especially at an older age......personalities and one's opinions of certain things are more likely to remain stable the older you get....Psychology classes are coming in handy now....:-P
LoL @ her script being an excuse....well, okay okay, I'll take that....lol

Yeah I Know.......Also, it seems that since she moved to Canada at a later age....her mindset of roop rang is probably not likely to change so easily, if at all....If anyone, or anything is to be blamed, then it is the environment and society in which she grew up and possibly her upbringing by her parents also played a part in her why her views on such things are the way they are...same can be said for Vasu...
