Suhana's Room:

Suhana & Anusha are talking. Anusha consoling Suhana that it's ok to go out with her friends, after all this is the age to have fun. Suhana says why can't everyone else also think like you. Anusha says its because I am the only one who is close to your age. She then asks her how her picnic was. Suhana says Angad lied to her, he had said her other friends will also be coming but it turned out to be just Angad and her. Anusha says that's not a big deal, he is a new generation boy. Maybe he wanted to spend some quality time with her. Suhana makes a wry face. Anusha suspects something and asks her if Angad had tried to get close to her. Suhana remains silent; Anusha takes that for a yes and says that it looks like meri pyaari nanad doesn't want to get close to Angad before marriage. Suhana nods. Then Anusha suggests to Suhana to get married to Angad right away. Suhana says she hasn't thought about marriage yet and asks Anusha to leave the issue. Anusha agrees but still asks if she is at least serious about Angad; Suhana says she is not sure. Anusha then changes the topic, says she has bought a dress for her for the party and goes out to get it.

Family Room:
Parikshit standing on something at the front door, trying to attach a flower garland type toran on the door ledge. Anusha walks in and asks what he is doing. Par says putting toran is considered shubh for the house; Anusha is irritated, asks to stop all that and to do it on the havan day. Says the house is so stylish. Then asks why Par has not gotten ready for the party yet. Par agrees and says he will change and come. Anusha smiles her evil smile of victory.

Kartik's room:
Kartik and Anusha getting dressed for the party. Kartik wearing a suit looking handsome, Anusha in a fancy saree asks him how she looks. Kartik says very beautiful, then he asks her how he looks, Anusha says very handsome but she doesn't want him to be the best looking man at the party though. Kartik is surprised, asks her why. Anusha says she doesn't want all the women to fall head-over-heels for him. Kartik holds her face and says what if that they do, Anusha says she will throw in the ganga river. Kartik laughs and jokingly says she is a very dangerous woman. Katrik says he will check on Ma Papa, if they are ready yet. Anusha stops him, asks him to check on the guests instead while she checks his parents. Kartik agrees and leaves.

Tiwari house:
Mr. Tiwari in front of the mirror, getting ready. Latika is looking on smiling. She says, he is taking longer than women to get ready; Tiwari says he is going for the first time to their house, so he should look good. He says she is the one who made them late by taking so much time to buy a gift.

Kartik's House:
Ga & Pat are ready, Par feeling uncomfortable in his new clothes. He tells Ga, Ga says it's only for a short while and Anusha has got those clothes so lovingly for them. Says they better go check with her and see if she needs their help. Par agrees.

Anusha's room:
Anusha is talking on the phone with Latika. Mausi is also there. She tells them that her health is not that good so they have cancelled the party, instead they are just having a dinner with a few of Kartik's colleagues. Ga & Par are jus about to enter her room and overhear this at the door. Anusha fakingly asks Latika that she hopes they didn't feel bad. Latika says it's fine and they will come by some other time. Ga & Par are stunned and in her shock Ga accidentally upsets a few decorative items on the mantel, it falls. Anusha & Mausi hear the sound; Anusha disconnects the phone, and comes out, sees the fallen items on the ground and picks them up. Ga & Par have walked away a little are hidden behind a doorway. Anusha sees Ga's hand and understands that they must have overheard her. She walks up to them; Ga & Par look at her shocked. Anusha says they must be shocked at her jhoota call to their chawl friends. But she says if they had come it would have spoiled the party atmosphere since Kartik's business friends would also be there. She says if they want to complain to Kartik they can do so, he may scold her and ask her to leave the house, and she will leave the house, but that will only spoil the party atmosphere. So she says she did what she thought right, now they can do what they feel right and leaves from there.

Ga & Par's room:
Ga & Par are sad and hurt. Ga says she didn't expect this from Anusha. Par says it is right from Anusha's perspective as there would be youngsters around and Tiwari's would feel out of place there. Ga says but they would not have been with them, they would have spent time with the Tiwari's. Par says lets go and join the party. Ga says she doesn't want to attend, since it's their party so they can celebrate it with their friends, after all they are also from the chawl. Par says what will Kartik think, if he comes to know that they didn't go due to bahu, the there will be a hungama. Par says to forget her anger and join the party. Ga reluctantly agrees.

Family room, party time:
Kartik & Anusha are mingling with guests. Kartik looks around and asks Anusha where his parents are, says he will get them and come. Anusha stops him, says she will get them. Just then Ga & Par are coming down the stairs into the room. Anusha sees them from afar, goes to her Mausi near the stairs and starts talking to her so Ga & Par can hear them. Says Kartik's happiness is foremost on her mind, Mausi chimes in saying that Kartik is looking so happy today. Anusha looks slyly at Ga & Par and leaves.

Kartik approached Anusha, says there is a problem; her mom has given him a champagne bottle to open and he is hesitant to have alcohol in the house. Anusha says it's his party and her mom is right, she insists and asks him to go ahead and celebrate. Kartik agrees and alongwith Anusha pops the champagne and they all have some. Anushs forces Kartik also to have some, Ga & Pat look on troubled. Suhana comes and calls Ga & Par to join everyone. Ga looks at Sunaha and chides are on the clothes she is wearing, which looks very modern. Suhana says bhabhi gave them to her and leaves from there. Cook calls Anusha aside, takes her to the kitchen and says, all the hotel food has got spoilt (wonder how that happened??) Anusha screams and says to go order more food from the hotel. Ga overhears it. Kartik calls that cook and asks him to serve snacks instead. He tastes the snack with Anusha and finds it stale, he tells her that, Anusha says why are you asking me, I had asked him to throw that and order afresh, now what will we do. She goes and stands with her mom. Par talking to a guest in pure hindi. Her husband admires Par's hindi and appreciates him for talking that way while everyone else talks English. Meanwhile Anusha, Poornima, & Mausi notices Ga serving her food to the guests with the help of the servers. Mausi says now the high class guests will end up eating low class food. But guests enjoy and praise the pakodas, ask Kartik where he ordered it from. Kartik holds his mom and says she made it. Everyoen applauds her, Anusha lloks on shocked. Ga asks them to try it by hand, they do so and love it. Another guest asks her to teach Anusha the recipe, she feels ashamed. Kartik tells Anusha that his mom saved the day, asks her to serve the tikkas next. Anusha is irritated and scowling.

Kitchen:
Anusha scolds the cooks and asks them to go out. Takes the plates with food made by Ga and thinks she will throw it all out. Poornima enters and stops her. Says she will only cause problems for herself if she does so, asks her not to do anything that will make Kartik suspicious of her. Says to cut down a healthy tree, one has to first poison the roots. Separate Kartik gradually from his parents and then play a new move. Episode ends as Anusha looks on scheming…
