- Jhanvi refuses to help Kaveri get dressed up because she thinks of herself as bad luck, but Kaveri convinces her.
- Kaveri, Ganga, Shanta, and Bhabi (balvir's wife), are sitting down doing mehndi. Ganga does it for Kaveri. Shanta says she is shocked that no one has fell in love with Jhanvi yet, but convinces Jhanvi to also put mehndi on.
- Kaveri and ganga compare the color of their mehndi each saying the others is darker. Kaveri tells ganga her mehdni is darker, so her future husband will love Jhanvi more than Sunny loves her.
- Shekar is crying thinking about what Sunny said to him about his being his god, etc. Shanta comes, but Shekar wipes his tears and tells her to go to bed.
- Kaveri is getting hungry. Jhanvi comes and Kaveri realizes that Jhanvi is also fasting. Ganga makes the excuse that she didn't want to eat because Kaveri wasn't eating. But ganga remember back to her time with Sagar, and telling him she would fast no matter what for the person she loved.
- Everything is ready, Jijo asks Sunny to call Kaveri and tell her to moon is out. Kaveri is asleep, Jhanvi hears the phone rings, and hesitates to pick it up, but she finally decided to wake up Kaveri and give her the phone. kaveri jumps up after hearing the moon is out, and runs to meet Sunny.
- Jijo manages to get Sagar and Balvir to shake hands and make up. Kaveri comes, Sagar compliments her, and she said Jhanvi got her ready. They do the entire Karva Chauth pooja. While Sunny is giving water and sweets to Kaveri, Ganga suddently feels sick.
- Peter calls Kaveri and tells her no is home, and Jhanvi just fell ill. Kaveri runs from there without telling Sunny. She goes home and blames herself for having Jhanvi fast when she just got out of the hospital. She still has her pooja plate with her, and tries to give the water from the pooja plate. Ganga refuses saying that her prasad from Sunny, but Kaveri says by drinking this water it doesn't mean you will take Sunny away from me. While Kaveri is about to give Ganga the water, Sagar calls. Kaveri asks him to hold as she gives ganga the water to drink.
