Akash got off the hood and stared into Manya's eyes as she blushed.
A: Shiyad kismat bhi hamara saath chahti hai...
Manya looked up at him.
M: Huh?
Akash laughed and shook his head.
A: Chalo!!
Akash and Manya both reached Akash's house. Akash looked at the lock in front of the house and gasped. He took out his cell phone and called his mother.
A: Mom? Yea..what?!
Manya waited patiently until he hung up.
M: Kya hua, Akash?
Akash frowned.
A: Woh..woh..meri saari family London gayee hai...
Manya stared at him, wide-eyed.
M: Aur...?
A: Aur...mere paas koi keys nahin hain...aur...
Manya glared at him.
M: You freak!! Ab kya kerein? Itni door leker aye ho! Yahan tho koi hotel bhi nahin hai!!
A: Relax, Sleeping Beauty, relax. I'll call Om...
Manya shook her head angrily as Akash called Om.
A: Perfect. Woh abhi ek beach house per. Let's go over there, it's not far.
Manya followed Akash and sat back in the cab.
M: Tumne kabhi koi kaam teek kiya hai, Akash?
A: Nahin! Issi liye tho tumhari jaisi churail ko saath le aya hoon!
M: CHURAIL? How dare you, you...gainde!
Akash looked at her and grabbed her hands, scaring her.
A: Please, Manya! Main darr raha hoon! Itni badi gaali muth dho mujhe!
Manya pushed him as the beach came into view.
M: Kahan hai uska beach house?
Akash gave her a look.
A: Beach per.
Manya rolled her eyes.
M: NO? REALLY? Main samji thi beach house kahin jungle per hota hai!
They stepped out of the house and saw a big beach house come into view. They raced up the steps with their luggage and rang the bell. Surprisingly, Kiran opened the door.
M: Kiran? Tum?
K: Haan main! Om called me a while ago and told me about his beach house. I thought kyun na ek vacation ho jaye? Maine mummy papa se baat ki..aur..deal's done! All of us are here, actually. Om ne socha kyun na ek vacation type ho jaye?
Manya's face grew red.
M: Uh..Roopa bhi hai?
Akash looked at her, understanding what she meant.
K: No, actually. Woh apne Dad ke saath kuch time spend kerna chahti hai. Come on in!
Manya and Akash were walking, exploring the big house, when Karan jumped in front of Manya.
K: Hey, beautiful!
Manya jumped back, startled. She smiled when she saw him.
M: Karan? Hi! Tum bhi yahan per ho?
Akash scowled.
A: Manya, chalo na. We didn't see the upstairs.
K: Actually, Akash, you mind if I take Manya upstairs instead? Hamari dance ki date abhi adoori hai, beautiful.
Akash looked at Manya, expecting an answer. Manya's face grew red.
M: Uh..why don't we..uh..baad mein dekh lein ge na ghar ko..ek poora week hai na..
A: Okay. So let's go find Om, Manya.
K: I'll also come.
Akash glared at Karan as he walked closely to Manya.
A: Tum zara peeche hut ker nahin chal sakte?
K: Kyun? Tumhe kya problem hai?
Before Akash replied, Om came and waved.
Om: Hey, guys! Hi, Manya!
A: Kya main pooch sakta hoon yeh Karan yahan per kya raha hai?
Om: Oh...woh saath vaale beach house mein rehta hai...so I thought of inviting him over for a while...
Akash frowned as he saw Manya talking to Karan. Mujhe kya? Manya jise chahe ussai baat kare! He thought angrily.
------------------A few hours later---------------------
Manya was walking by the beach when rain started to fall. The rain grew heavier and heavier till it started to turn into a storm. Manya saw Om's beach house in the distant, and she began to run.
While running, her foot felt a sharp pain as she realized she had stepped into a glass. Manya winced in pain as tears began to fall. Before she completely collapsed, she felt two strong hands hoist her up. She looked up and saw Akash grin at her.
A: Sleeping Beauty, tumhara Prince hai na!
Manya smiled as Akash ran through the sand in the rain.
A: Tum itni door ker kya rahi ho?
M: Nothing, just walking. Lakein mujhe lag gayee.
The storm hit them both as Akash hugged Manya tighter in the chilly wind. He reached the beach house and kicked the door open, letting Manya sit on the couch.
A: Where is everyone?
M: Patha nahin...
Akash took out a first aid kit and bandaged Manya's foot. He brought a towel and wiped her face and hair. Manya watched him silently as he held her hand and guided her to the fireplace.
They both sat down, quiet. Akash looked at her as Manya blushed slightly.
M: What?
Akash shook his head, but in his mind, he thought, Tum iss aag ji jalti hui roshni ke neeche bahut haseen lag rahi ho, Manya...
M: Tumne kuch kaha?
A: Huh? OH, no...
Manya smiled at him and flipped her hair, letting the water drops fall on his face. Akash closed his eyes as the water touched him. Suddenly, the lights flickered and turned off. Only the dim light of the fireplace surrounded them. Manya jumped on Akash, scared.
A: Aye, sleeping beauty! Tumhara iraada kya hai?
M: Akash! Shut up! Its so dark!
Akash laughed as Manya sat back down on the ground. He watched her through the crackling fire. He suddenly had an idea to scare her.
He grabbed a little stick and put it behind her back as she jumped.
M: Akash! Something..something touched me!!
Akash looked up.
A: What? Really?
M: Haan...
A: Tumhare vehm hai, Manya...

Akash turned on the radio and took out his hand for Manya. It was still completely dark.
A: May I have this dance, Manya?
Manya watched him from the little light the fire gave. She giggled and placed her hand in his and they both danced to "Ishq Hua" from Aaja NAchle...
Suddenly, they both heard loud thumping at the door. Manya grabbed Akash tightly and hugged him as he hugged her back, realizing how scared she was...

Just as Manya was saying this, Akash rubbed the stick behind her back again. Screaming, Manya jumped up. Akash started to laugh hysterically.
A: Oof!! Manya!! Tum darr gayee?!
He held up the stick and started to laugh hysterically. Manya saw the stick in his hands, her eyes opening wide.
M: Akash! You jerk!!!
She grabbed the stick from his hands and started to hit him with it as he cracked up.
A: Ow, Manya!
M: Shut up! You freak! How dare you!
Akash grabbed the stick out of her hands and hit her arm with it as Manya giggled and fell to the ground. Akash laughed also and stood up.
A: I'll make it upto you, Madam Moiselle.
M: Oh really? And how are you going to do that?
Akash turned on the radio and took out his hand for Manya. It was still completely dark.
A: May I have this dance, Manya?
Manya watched him from the little light the fire gave. She giggled and placed her hand in his and they both danced to "Ishq Hua" from Aaja NAchle...
Suddenly, they both heard loud thumping at the door. Manya grabbed Akash tightly and hugged him as he hugged her back, realizing how scared she was...

M: Akash, agar yeh tumhari koi sick joke hui na...
Akash shook his head.
A: I swear Manya, I don't know what that noise is!
Manya's heart pumped louder as she grabbed Akash again, holding his shirt tightly. She rested her head on his chest, scared.
A: Who--who is it?!
It felt like banging on the door. Suddenly, Manya heard giggles as the banging grew louder. Manya let go of Akash.
M: Oh, ab main samji!
A: Kya?
Manya motioned Akash to follow her. Akash shrugged and followed her. Manya whispered for him to stay quiet as she opened the door and quickly hid behind it with Akash, holding pillows in their hands. Akash nodded as the gang, except for Karan and Roopa, stepped in, giggling.
Om: Kahan gaye?
Akash winked at Manya and they both stepped out, shouting and screaming and hitting everyone with pillows. Kiran shrieked and lept on Rehan, while Goppu nearly jumped on Om.
A: Losers!!!
M: GOTCHA!
They all laughed and fell to the ground as the lights flickered back on. Manya looked around and laughed.
M: Such losers, yaar!
Akash laughed and fell to the floor.
A: Come on, now...let's get some sleep, guys!
---------------The Next Day--------------------------
Manya walked downstairs and noticed it was still quiet. She thought everyone was probably sleeping, so she headed into the kitchen, frowning.
M: Mujhe tho kuch pakaana bhi nain aata...um...sabke liye toast aur coffee banati hoon!
Manya stared helplessly at the kitchen when Akash, still smelling wonderfully soapy from his shower, entered with his hair wet.
A: Morning, Madam Moiselle!
M: Morning, Akash. Dekho na. I can't make anything and I'm starving!
A: WHAT? TUMHE kuch banana nain aata? I'm shocked, yaar. Mathlab yeh sab traditional dressing ek fraud hai, hmm?
M: Shut up!
Akash laughed and picked her up, sitting her on the counter.
A: Lucky for you, mujhe saaab aata hai!
He gathered the pans and the coffee maker, flinging on the apron. Manya gave him a thumbs up sign.
M: Tumhari biwi iss maamle mein lucky hogi, Akash.
A: Iss maamle? Pssh! Woh har maamle mein lucky hogi, sweetheart!
M: Oh please, okay! Tum itne bhi khaas nain ho!
A: Yeaaah right. I bet andher se tum mer rahi hogi...meri biwi banne ke liye!
M: Yeah, like dunya ke sab doosre ladke mer gaye hain!
Akash bent over to her as she moved back.
A: Aur agar mer gaye tho?
M: Tho..tho main kanwari mer jaoon gi, Akash Rathod. Lakein TUM jaise ladke se shaadi nain karungi!
Akash set on the toaster and looked at her.
A: Kyun? Mujh mein tumhe King Kong dikhaii dhaite?
M: Nain. Tum mein mujhe KUCH nain dikhaii dhaita!
A: Acha? Aur tum mein kya khaas baat hai?
M: KAafi hon gi. Issi liye tho KAran mujh per mer mitta hai!
Akash set on the toasts on the plates and began on the pancakes as Manya giggled.
A: KARAN? You're right, sweetheart. Tumhe oos ke jaisa hi ladka mil sakte!
M: EH! Hello! Main chahoon na, tho kisi ko bhi apne pyar mein daal sakti hoon!
A: YEaahhhh...sureee
M: Akash! I'm serious!
A: Kisi ko bhi?
M: Haan, kisi ko bhi!
A: Please, Manya. Tumhare jaisi behnji type se kaun mooh lagna chahe ga?
M: Behn ji?!
A: Haan! Kabhi sexy dresses ko haath bhi lagaya hai tumne?
M: I have! I dress this way kyunki mujhe apna culture yaad hai!
A: Or maybe you just have seriously hideous legs!
Manya opened her eyes wide.
M: I DO NOT!
Akash grabbed her legs teasingly.
A: Acha, dikhao na! Dikhao legs phir!
Manya shrieked and jumped off, running out onto the sand as Akash chased her, laughing. He lunged for her legs.
A: No, come on! Show me then!
Manya screamed.
M: Akash! Stop it!
A: SHOW ME!!!
Manya pushed him.
M: Okay? Tum dekhna chahte ho na? Dekho ge! I BET YOU, Akash, aur tum stunned reh jao ge. And main ladkoon ko apni ungli per nachaaon gi! They'll be eating out of my hands!
Akash waved a hand at her.
A: Get into your PJS, sweetheart, cause you're dreaming!
As he walked back inside, Manya kicked the sand angrily.
M: PJs my foot!
---------------------A few hours later-----------------
Everyone sat at the porch of the beach house, laughing and talking.
Kiran: Manya kahan hai?
A: Patha nain...
Just as he said this, Om whistled loudly. Akash followed his gaze and gasped. There, coming up on the beach, was no other than Manya Sharma dressed in the most sizzling and sexy dress. Maybe it wasn't the dress. Maybe it was how she carried it out.
G: Yeh Manya ko kya hua...
Akash gasped even louder when he saw a trail of boys behind Manya. As they came close, Akash heard one of them say,
Guy1: Kya ladki hai, yaar!
Guy2: Seriously! Aray suniye, madam...!
Manya came and stood in front of Akash.
M: I sense a loser, Akash. Do you?
Akash stared at her, surprised. He suddenly jumped back, startled, as Manya put her leg on the swing.
M: Dekh lo, Akash.
All the boys whistled. Akash glared at them and snapped his fingers.
A: Eh! Yeh koi show nain chal ra! Get out!
Guy3: Tumhe kya! Apne kaam se kaam rakho na! Aray, madam, apna naam tho batiye!
Manya raised her eyes at Akash, smilign victoriously.
M: Many--
Akash suddenly ripped off the cloth on the swing, making Manya's leg fall down. He swung it over Manya to cover her.
M: AKASH!
A: Shut up!
He grabbed her hand and pulled her inside the beach house.
M: What? MAine tho apni shart nibhai!
A: SHART? Yoon..yoon ker ke! That's sick!
M: How's it sick? Tumhi tho keh rahe thay that my legs--
Akash came close to Manya, pushing her against the door.
A: Kya tumhe meri thinking ki itna pervah hai, Manya, ke tum khud ko badal daalo?
M: What? No..woh..
A: Kyunki jis Manya jo main jaanta hoon, woh yeh sab sirf ek hi insaan ke liye ker sakti hai...
M: Kau--kaun sa insaan?
A: Jise woh bepanah mohabbat kerti ho...
Manya blushed furiously as she pushed him away, running up the steps in her heels. Akash grabbed the back of the cloth that was covering her.
A: Ayeee Madam Moiselle..jawab tho dhaiti jao!!
Manya laughed and grabbed the cloth back, running upstairs. She turned around once again as Akash stared at her. Teasingly, she took of the cloth and blew him a teasing kiss.
Akash's eyes opened wide as he teased her back, putting his hand on his heart.
A: Hayeee!!!

The wind blew hard as Akash stared at Manya run in the sand, her hair flying in the wind. Manya laughed and let the balloons fly from her hands in the air as she opened her arms, running around and laughing. Akash stared as a few little girls played music, humming the words "Tere Ishq Mein, Ishq Mein...Tere Ishq Mein, Ishq Mein..." Manya passed Akash as she ran with two little boys, chasing them. Her dupatta waved Akash's face as he grabbed it in his hands. Manya turned around and stared at him as he rolled the dupatta in his hands, pulling himself closer...
A: Manya...
