Akash laughed as he Manya looked at him.
A: Tumhari yaad agayee, MAnya...
Manya looked at him, a surprised smile on her face.
Akash burst out laughing.
A: Itni flatter hone ki koi zarurat nahin hai, Manya!
M: Shut up, Akash! Um...lakein...tum kerna kya aye ho?! Itni baarish mein?
Akash laughed and raised out his hand.
M: ANOTHER DANCE?!
A: It seems like our best quality, Manya!
Manya and Akash were dancing in the rain to the song "Hum Tum." Manya circled around on the grass, spinning in the rain. Akash laughed and picked her up in the air as she opened her arms and let the rain fall on her. He set her down and excitedly, Manya hugged him tightly, then running away and laughing. Akash stopped and stared at her as Manya turned around, looking at him as the rain fell down heavily. Suddenly.....a voice startled them.
MM: Akash!!
Akash and Manya spun around, letting out a little yell.
MM: Tum yahan kya ker rahe ho? Itni raat ko?!
A: Woh...woh...
MM: Akash! Go home, beta! Shaadi itni bhi door nahin hai!
A: Uh..ji, Aunty...lakein kya main Manya se ek baat ker sakta hoon?
MM laughed.
MM: Okay, but quickly, Akash.
Akash stared into the ground. Ab kya kahun Manya se? Ke main yeh shaadi nahin todna chahta? No..Manya yeh shaadi nahin chahti..If I say I want to get married, she's just going to laugh in my face... He thought.
Meanwhile, Manya looked around and thought the same exact thing.
M: Akash, kya hua?
A: Uh...woh soch raha tha...yeh shaadi..ruke gi kaise?
Manya's heart sank. 🥺
M: Oh...uh...yeh tumhari brilliant planning ki wajjah se hua hai, Akash! Agar tum ussi din hi na keh dhaite na, tho yeh sab na hota!
A: Aye, Cinderella! Mujhe kya patha tha sab kuch itna...fast ho ga!
M: Akash! Itna bhi fast nahin hua! Tumhe bas dung se koi kaam nahin kerna aata!
A: DAnce tho aata hai!
M: Tho jao streets per dance karo! Do you even know how to raise a family?!
Akash laughed flirtatiously.
A: You're thinking of raising your family with me, Manya?
Manya frowned.
M: No, but looks like I will! Tum..Akash tum..just go home, Akash! Kyunki mujhe lag raha hai--
A: KE hum dhono ko yeh shaadi kerni hogi?
M:YEah...
Akash and Manya both secretly smiled.
Tho shiyad oos ke liye yeh ek forcing hi hogi...lakein...for me... they both thought.

-------------------WEdding DAY--------------------------
Akash sprayed cologne on himself, humming Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to himself. He laughed in the mirror and said to himself,
A: Manya, tumhare liye shiyad yeh shaadi koi mainai na rakhe..lakein mere liye..for some reason, Manya, I'm in love with you!!
----------------------Meanwhile-------------------------
Manya put on her bangles while humming Hum Tum. She giggled and whispered in the mirror,
M: Akash, meri zindagi aaj sabse khoobsurat din hai! Shiyad tum yeh shaadi majboori se ker rahe ho, but I really love you, Akash...

Manya heard the "baraat" outside, and raced to her balcony. She peeked out and saw Akash wearing a tux, laughing and clapping.
M: Acting tho koi tumse seekhe, Akash!
When the baraat had reached inside the house, Manya sat down and put on her last makeup and jewelry.
MM came in the room, resting her hands on Manya's shoulders.
MM: Tu khush hai na, Manya?
M: Haan, Ma. MAin bahut khush hoon.
MM kissed Manya's forehead.
MM: Ab tumhe main neeche le ker jaoon gi, Manya. Tumhe tumhari nain zindagi mubarak ho, beta...
-------------------------------------------------------- Akash bit his lower lip as Om laughed.
Om: Tho Cinderella aur Prince Charming mil hi gaye!
Akash laughed and hit him playfully.
A: Haan, lakein, Cinderella hai kahan?
Om: Itna pyar! Aye haye Akash! Tho finally you two admitted it!
A: Admitted what? Om,yaar, mujhe tho ishq ho gaya oos ladki se...lakein Manya...I guess not..
Om: WHAT? She's in mad love with you, Akash!
Akash stared at him, his heart racing. Om quickly filled him in on Manya's feelings. Akash laughed and clapped excitedly.
A: YES!!!
Just as he punched the air in excitement, he looked over and saw Manya come down in the most gorgeous wedding dress. She looked at him, smiling shyly. Akash went and sat down in the "mandap" as Manya came and sat down next to him.
Akash smiled to himself as he looked at Manya sit down.
Mujhe meri zindagi mil gayee.... He thought.

The saat phere were taken and the marriage was finished. Akash and Manya sat down in their wedding car, leading to Akash's home. Akash didn't tell Manya yet that he knew the truth about her loving him as well.
Rain started to fall as they reached their house. Manya sat in the car as Akash raced up the steps to where everyone was waiting for the couple. Manya watched as he whispered something to his Dad. AF said no at first, but Akash folded his hands with a laugh and suddenly, everyone went inside. Manya watched carefully as Akash came back.
Where's everyone going? SHe wondered.
Akash came, a bit wet from the rain. He opened the car door.
A: Come, Manya!
M: Akash...mera dress...
A: Cinderella, tumhe ab iss dress ki vaise tho zarurat paray gi nahin. Unless...koi aur shaadi kerne ka iraada hai?
M: Akash!
Akash laughed.
A: Manya, pehle bahaar tho aao! Don't you know? Baarish hamari ek insider hai, Manya! We always dance in the rain!
M: Haan, lakein...abhi tho shaadi...and everyone is...
A: Koi nahin hai, Manya. Iss pal mein sirf hum tum hain...
Manya watched him and smiled, getting out of the car. She let her dupatta rest on her shoulder as she held Akash's hand. From inside, loud music burst through the rainy yard. Manya looked at him, laughing. They both, once again, danced to Hum Tum.

Akash picked Manya up in his arms, laughing. They both circled around in the rain, Akash holding Manya's hand when she walked away. He pulled her close, holding her by the waist. She let her hands rest on his shoulders.
A: Om ne mujhe kuch bathaya, Manya...
M: Oh...uh...really?
Akash laughed. He raised out his hand as water poured onto it, and splashed it on Manya. She laughed.
M: Akash!
A: Tho meri Cinderella mujhse pyar kerti hai!
M: WHAT?! Oh...I mean...
Akash raised Manya's chin as she smiled in embarrassment.
A: Aur meri Cinderella kaafi dher se pyar kerti hai...
M: Woh...
A: Meaning, jab tum mujhe jagarti thi, ghusse hoti thi, tumhare dil mein pyar chupa tha...
Manya looked up, pointing.
M: AUR TUM! You knew this!! Aur tumne phir bhi shaadi ki! Mathlab...
Akash laughed and picked Manya up in his arms.
A: Kabhi ek sher suna tha, Manya. Ke college main perha tha...something like that. Lakein aaj oos ke mainay samaj ayai.
M: Oh really?
A: (whispering flirtatiously)

And they both stood in the rain, holding each other's hands, their foreheads leaned against each other.
