Akash blushed.
M: Akash, are you blushing?!
A: Manya, tumhari problem kya hai?
M: Meri problem tho koi nahin. I was sticking to the plan, unlike SOMEBODY!
A: Tumhe dance kerna hai?
M: Haan!
Akash stood up and took out his hand.
A: May I have this dance, my wife to be?
Manya giggled but put her hand in his hand.
M: Mujhe sometimes tumhari kuch samaj nahin aati, Akash...
They were dancing when the boys and girls decided to split up. Akash took out his hand for Manya again, but she teasingly refused and ran to the girls side, laughing.
Akash put his arm on Om's shoulder and started singing,

While the girls sang, the boys sat on their knees and clapped. When the boys sang, the girls stood with their hands on their hips and shook them in a swaying motion.

Manya stood still for a second when she heard Akash say those words, but the girls laughed and pushed her forward. Manya circled Akash doing a cute little "bhangra" dance as he rolled his eyes and fanned himself with a mocking smile.

Akash turned around and grabbed Manya's hand. They both stared at each other, their hearts beating faster and faster. Akash held Manya by the waist as she put her arms around his neck. Everyone stepped back as the lights went dim and the spotlight went on the couple as they stared at each other, oblivious to the rest.

Everyone started to clap and whistle as Manya and Akash realized where they were. Manya sort of blushed as Akash stared into her eyes, giving a naughty grin. Manya, shy, ran to her room and in her balcony. Two seconds later she felt someone behind her. She turned around and saw Akash.
M: Akash...
Akash came close to her until she was leaning against the railing.
A: Whispering flirtatiously Meri Cinderella dance acha kerti hai...
Manya looked up at him as he said "Meri Cinderella"
M: Aur Prince Charming kuch kum nahin hain...
Akash laughed. He was going to say more as MM came in the door.
MM: Akash! No naughtiness! Come on, get out of the room!
Manya and Akash laughed as Akash followed MM out of the room. But before he left, he came back in the room and took out a rose.
A: Aye, Cinderella...happy new life...
Manya looked at him surprised and took the rose, laughing.
M: Akash, tum pagal ho!
MM: AKASH!
Akash stuck his tongue out and ran out the door, laughing.
Manya turned around and looked up at the moon, smiling at the rose in her hands. She kissed the rose lightly, and then laughed at herself. But turning around, she set the rose on her table, right next to a picture of her and Akash in college.
---------------Meanwhile Outside---------------------
Akash laughed to himself as he headed out to his car.
Kya ho raha hai mujhe? Kyun Manya se door jaane ka dil bhi nahin kerta? he thought. He smiled to himself and drove away, wondering if he wanted to break the marriage...
--------------The next day------------------
It was nighttime, and it was pouring rain outside. Manya hadn't seen Akash the whole day.
Agar hum dhono ek doosre se milein ge bhi nahin, tho shaadi raukein ge kaise? Manya wondered.
Suddenly she heard clashing at her window. Manya stood up and opened the window. Rain burst in her room, little drizzle falling on her face. Manya looked and saw Akash, standing in the pouring rain, drenched, throwing rocks at her window.
A: Kya, Cinderella? Itni dher koi lagata hai!
M: AKASH?! Tum...bheeg gaye ho!
A: OH my God, Manya! Baarish mein tho mujhe dry hona chahiye na!
M: AKASH! What are you doing here?!
A: Pehle neeche ao!
M: Baarish mein?!
A: AGar main asakta hoon, tho tumhe kya hai?
M: No way, Akash. I'll get sick!
Akash grinned.
A: Don't worry, Cinderella. Tumhara PRince Charming hai na!
Manya laughed, shutting the window. She thanked God secretly that her mother was at a sick friend's house, so she'd be running late. Manya raced down the stairs and out in the backyard. But the moment she reached it, she didn't see Akash.
M: AKASH?!
Manya heard a laugh as she felt someone behind her. She jumped as Akash grabbed her and lifted her in the air, laughing.
M: Akash!
She laughed as he put her down.
A: Tumhara doondna mujhe acha laga, Manya.
M: Shut up! Ab bathao, idhar kya ker rahe ho?
Both were soaking wet in the rain. Akash walked closer to Manya, as Manya stepped back...
Precap
Manya and Akash were dancing in the rain to the song "Hum Tum." Manya circled around on the grass, spinning in the rain. Akash laughed and picked her up in the air as she opened her arms and let the rain fall on her. He set her down and excitedly, Manya hugged him tightly, then running away and laughing. Akash stopped and stared at her as Manya turned around, looking at him as the rain fell down heavily. Suddenly.....
