PART 1

After a long day at work, Vidushi finally reached home super exhausted.

She was panting and huffing having climbed 20 floors. Did the stupid lift have to go out of order on that day itself??!!

She could smell something cooking...or rather burning.

She rushed to the kitchen and saw a cake burning. She immediately switched off the oven and called out, "PARTH!! Come here right now!"

He came rushing. His jaw dropped on seeing the burnt cake and the angry look on Vidushi's face. "Sorry...I went to catch up on some cricket match highlights so...", he said sheepishly.

Seeing the sheepish look on his face, she immediately melted and said in a comforting tone, "It's ok. At least you tried to bake a cake for me. That's so sweet of you."

She took the burnt cake out of the oven and put it on a plate.

"Well...this looks...interesting," she said, inspecting the cake from every angle.

Parth was surprised. "You'll eat a burnt cake??" he asked her.

"I will...because you made it, she said sweetly. "Wanna help me in finishing it?" she asked.

He grinned and both of them sat and finished the burnt yet special cake together.

Blissfully unaware of the approaching storm which would wreck their lives.

Firstly, I have inreserved my comment on Page 1...

Secondly, are meri aam ki guthli.. Come here...*showers hugs and kisses.*
Moi love you loads for this chapter... It was small yet sweet..
The VidArth moment was not so cheesy neither mushy mushy types... It was a perfect romantic moment.
As much as I love The Vidushi in the show, I love her many folds more in this fiction. She is so caring and understanding, a perfect compassionate partner.
That was really sweet of Parth to actually bake a cake, err, burnt cake..
Uh-oh! So we have a warning issued already... Hmm...
Kitthe hai tu aam, idhar aa tu.. Aaj tu mere hathoon se maar khayegi!! You left the chapter hanging on a cliffy.
Now update the next chapter soonish, else, I'll stalk you to the end of this universe..*evil smirk*
