I was searching for new Sandhir FFs and I landed on this. It captured me from the prologue itself and I couldn't stop reading all the chapters.

The concept and the way you have maintained the characters so far is brilliant. I especially love Ranveer and his bond with his father, so natural and real. Also, the mystery of what exactly happened is just so much more the reason to continue reading.

I think this is definitely my favourite Sandhir ff at the moment.

But I warn you that if you were decide to discontinue or just disappear in the middle of completing this story...I WILL track you down and nag you to complete it 😆

Chapter 7 :

"Sanyukta..." Randhir told.
"Randhir..." Sanyukta told.

They thought it was dream come true to feel them so close to eachother again. "Maybe it really is a dream," they thought. They didn't want to open their eyes. They were afraid this beautiful dream might come to an end. He didn't want to leave her and she didn't either want him to leave her. They could have stayed like this forever in each others arms. Even if they hated eachother now (or atleast thought so) they wanted to be like this. They wanted to feel eachother badly. They wanted this moment to freeze.

Slowly, they opened their eyes. Both were shocked to see tears in other's eyes. Don't know when; don't know why but they were crying. All they wanted to do that moment is kiss the other's tears away and assure them that everything will be alright. They were lost in eachother's eyes. The whole crowd was staring at them just like old times. Sanyukta would fall and Randhir would hold her like a bollywood hero.

Parth interrupted their beautiful moment. He helped Sanyukta up who didn't even budge her sight away from Randhir's eyes for a second. Randhir just muttered a soft sorry and walked away cleaning his tears. He reached his dorm and sat on the bed and started crying. This has become daily routine for him. Think about her and start crying.

Sanyukta, on the other hand was confused. "Why did I feel good when he held me? I should have got angry but... What's wrong with me? I have decided to move on then why is it being so difficult. No, he is making it difficult. Oh those eyes, those deep brown eyes. I love them! I love the way they shine when he smiles. Those small eyes speak volu... WAIT! What am I thinking? I have gone insane. I loved him, long ago! I don't now, not at all," she thought.

He looked at the time. It was 8.45pm. "Champ's dinner time!" Randhir thought and called to the Shekhawat landline number.

"Hey senior!" Ranveer shouted.
"How did you know it was me?" Randhir asked.
"It is my dinner time now, it wasn't hard to guess," Ranveer told.
"Ha. Intelligent! So you had your dinner?" Randhir asked.
"Yes! You didn't, right?" Ranveer asked.
"Nope, I will. College mess hasn't prepared anything yet. Dinner starts at 9.00pm champ," Randhir replied, "What's up?"

"Nothing. It's just been day and I already miss you," Ranveer told.

"Shall I come back home then?" Randhir asked trying to cheer him up.

"What? No. I don't miss you at all. Actually, kaka told me to tell that to you so that you don't feel bad you know!" Ranveer told.

"Oh! So my junior has learnt how to lie, interesting, isn't it?" Randhir told trying to sound angry.

"Hahaha!" Ranveer laughed on the other side, "Okay have your dinner and come online. We'll talk but first go have your dinner now!" Ranveer replied.
"As you say sir!" Randhir told.

Randhir ran to the mess hall, ate a little and ran back to the dorm. He wanted to talk to champ as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Sanyukta was lost in her own thoughts. She was replaying the scene where Randhir had caught her by her waist and saved her from falling. A lone tear dropped from her eye. She wasn't even eating properly, all she could think was - RANDHIR. She did not want to think about him at all. She had decided she will never forgive him for what he did, never but her emotions were against her. Today, when she saw Randhir for the first time, her heart did a happy dance; her emotions took a roller-coaster ride. She had wished that the song Randhir sang with his eyes closed was for her. How she wished to ask him whom he was thinking about when he was singing!

Parth observed this and scolded Sanyukta. She composed herself and finished her dinner and went to her dorm after bidding goodbye to the others escorted by Kaustuki.

"You still love him, don't you?" Kaustuki asked on the way to their dorm.

"What? Hell no!" Sanyukta manged to lie unknowingly.

"Really?" Kaustuki looked at herlike a mother demanding for the truth from her child."

"Yes and please stop looking at me like that! It is creepy," Sanyukta told and opened her room.

"Sanyu, am serious. How can you love him after what he did to you?" Kaustuki asked.

"I don't love him anymore Kaustuki!" Sanyukta defended herself.

"Really? Then why were you crying when Randhir was singing on-stage?" Kaustuki asked.

"I wasn't crying for him! I was crying recollecting about what he did to me!" Sanyukta lied.

"Okay fine, there is no point arguing with you. Let's sleep!" Kaustuki told and jumped onto the bed.

"Mr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat, you made me a master in lying! I can lie without getting caught now, all thanks to you," Sanyukta thought and lied down on the bed and recollected all those memories when she would lie to Kaustuki or to Parth to spend time with him. She thought about, *The first time she had ever lied to spend time with Randhir.*

FLASHBACK :-

"I'll be waiting for you," Randhir told and started walking without bothering for a reply.

"I won't come," Sanyukta shouted.

"I know you will!" Randhir replied and disappeared.

"Argh! What will I tell Kaustu?" Sanyukta thought.

MESS HALL -

She went the mess hall and sat beside Kaustuki; in front of Randhir. Randhir winked at her.

"You have to stop doing that!" Sanyukta messaged Randhir.

"Really? Why?" Randhir texted back.

"Simply!" Sanyukta texted back, knowing she couldn't tell what she wanted to. Had it been a face-to-face conversation; she would have blurted out the truth.

"Okay guys, see you later," Randhir told and excused himself. At the entrance, he signalled Sanyukta to come fast.

Randhir and Sanyukta have been dating since two weeks. They had kept it their secret. No one knew about it.

"Kaustuki, I have to go somewhere, bye!" Sanyukta told and got up. Kaustuki pulled her back onto the chair.

"Kahan?" Kaustuki asked.

"Library! Padna hai na?" Sanyukta told.

"Padna? Abhi abhi toh exams khatam huyi hai! Phirse panda?" Kaustuki exclaimed.

"SHITT! How could I miss that!" Sanyukta thought. "Nai nai, mujhe hostel room jaana hai!" she told.

"Wait!" Kaustuki told and got up, "Chalo main bhi chalti hum. I'm very tired too."

"SHITT! Kaustuki toh meri roommate hai! Oh no!" Sanyukta thought. "Nahi, mujhe room nahi jaana hai!" she suudenly blurted out.

"Are you okay?" Kaustuki asked examining her neck for fever.

"Yeah, I have to go the med room, I'll meet you later," Sanyukta told and hurried off not giving a chance for Kaustuki to reply.

"Ajeeb ladki hai!" Kaustuki thought and proceeded towards her dorm.

Sanyukta reached the terrace gasping for air.

"Can I help you breathe?" Randhir asked and took a step forward.

Sanyukta blushed and told, "No Mr. Shekhawat, I'll manage!"

"Are you sure?" Randhir told and smirked.

"Yes, very sure!" Sanyukta replied, "Kaustuki almost got me today!"

"Obviously, you don't even know how to lie Sanyukta!" Randhir exclaimed.

"I can't help it, I never lied except a few times," Sanyukta protested.

"Okay, I'll teach you!" Randhir told with his signature smirk pasted on his face and his hands on her waist.

A tear rolled down Sanyukta's eyes. She shut her eyes tightly to stopping the other tears' flow. "Why Randhir? Why should I always suffer?" Sanyukta thought and slept.

Meanwhile, Randhir switched on his laptop. He had a 100 watt smile plastered on his face the minute he saw his love - Ranveer.

"Ayehaye smile toh dekho senior ke face pe," Ranveer teased.

"Oye, apne papa ko tease karoge?" Randhir faked anger.

"Hehe, sorry!" Ranveer told and caught his ears.

"Chalo, tum bhi kya yaad rakhoge... Maaf kiya!" Randhir told and laughed.

"Accha? Aap yaha waapas aao, aise pranks khelunga na ki aap bhaag jaaoge!" Ranveer told.

"Yeah right. Champ, jokes apart now. Homework?" Randhir asked like typical father.

"Done," Ranveer shouted.

"Dinner?" Randhir asked.

"Long time back. Exactly at 8.30pm!" Ranveer told.

"Good boy, kaka ko pareshaan kiya?" Randhir asked.

"Umm..woh..actually," Ranveer told.

"Junior?" Randhir asked folding his hands to his chest.

"Haan kiya, bas thoda," Ranveer told and indicated with his fingers.

"That's my boy!" Randhir told and both laughed together.

"Par zyaada nahi haan!" Randhir told after laughing.

"Haan senior, bata hai!" Ranveer replied.

"Okay okay. How was school?"

"Awesome," Ranveer told and described how his teacher appreciated him in front of the whole class.

"Sab meri vajah se," Randhir told with a proud smirk.

"Accha? And how's that?" Ranveer asked.

"Everything is because of my upbringing," Randhir told with a sly smile.

"Oh really?" Ranveer told and turned his face to the left.

"Yeah... champ? Two minutes!" Randhir toold and got up.

"Why?" Ranveer shouted eventhough he knew the answer.

"Champ! Washroom!" Randhir told and ran into the washroom and Ranveer started laughing.

Ranveer started checking out Randhir's hostel room. It had two big cupboards (One for Randhir and the other one for Jiggy), one bed (he could see only one) and a table on which all engineering books were kept.

Just then, Jiggy entered.

"Randhir bhai?" Jiggy shouted and was about to go out as he didn't find Randhir in the room.

"He is in the washroom!" Ranveer shouted.

"Kaun hai woh?" Jiggy replied half-scared as he couldn't see anyone.

"Bhoottthhh!" Ranveer replied sensing that Jiggy was a bit scared.

"Ky...kyaaa? Bh...bhooo...bhoooth?" Jiggy stammered.

"Haan bhooth!" Ranveer told and started laughing.

"Bhooth hasta bhi hai?" Jiggy told softly and tried to search the source of the voice.

"Arey kahan dekh rahe ho chachu? Yahan laptop mein!" Ranveer told still laughing.

"Laptop? Chachu?" Jiggy told and went to the bed where Randhir's laptop was there.

"Hii!" Ranveer shouted.

"Tum kaun ho?" Jiggy asked ambiguous that Mr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat video-chats with kids.

"Tumhe senior ne nahi bataya?" Ranveer told now angry.

"Senior kaun?" Jiggy asked.

"Senior is Mr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat and I am his son, his junior, Ranveer Singh Shekhawat," Ranveer replied stressing on his name so that no one misunderstands it with Randhir.

"Ranveer Singh Shekhawat?" Randhir bhai ne shaadi kar li?" Jiggy thought.

Randhir comes out of the washroom and sees Jiggy. He immediately closes the laptop even without informing champ.

"Bhai? Who was that?" Jiggy asked.

"What you talking about?" Randhir replied cleaning his hands with a towel.

"Ranveer Singh Shekhawat!" Jiggy told aloud.

"Isne dekh liya?" Randhir told very softly, his voice barely audible.

"Haan dekh liya!" Jiggy told.

"Arey woh koi nahi hai. Chodo!" Randhir answered.

"Bhai bolo!" Jiggy shouted.

"He is my son and I don't want even a word about this matter to be spoken again. Not to me or to anyone! Am I clear Jiggy?" Randhir shouted furiously.

"Haan bhai," Jiggy told. He knew this was not the right time to seek answers.

Jiggy pretended to sleep. Randhir thought that he slept and he switched on hs laptop and started video-chat with Ranveer, this time in a low voice. Randhir was constantly laughing and smiling. After an hour, he asked Ranveer to go and sleep and he himself lied on the bed, his back facing Jiggy. Jiggy had observed all that and thought, "Randhir bhai ko itna khush toh kabhi nahi dekha," and tried to sleep.

Morning... (Day 1)

Randhir had woken up and he started doing his push-ups shirtless, as usual.

Jiggy woke up and saw Randhir bhai doing push-ups. "Chalo sab theek hai! Push-ups kar rahe hai, agar punching bag ki buri halat kar rahe hai toh main gaya!" Jiggy thought and went to the washroom.

He came out and told, "Randhir bhai, I hope I get to see The Randhir Singh Shekhawat' today."

In response, Randhir smirked. Jiggy took it to be a yes and headed to meet Kaustuki.

CLASSROOM :

Jiggy and Kaustuki were sitting together accompanied by Sanyukta beside Kaustuki.

"Jiggy? Tum kal Randhir ke saath the na? Kuch kahan Randhir ne? Did he try to talk to you?" Kaustuki asked.

"Arey baba nahi! Woh toh apne bete ke saath video-chat karne mein busy the!" Jiggy told and shut his mouth with his hand. He mentally kicked himself for telling that and he knew that if Randhir gets to know what he had uttered then his life is in danger.

Sanyukta turned towards Jiggy and Kaustuki looked like her eyes would pop out any moment. A tear dropped from Sanyukta's eyes.

"He's married?" she asked unknowingly crying.

There ends my seventh chapter...
