And its is so sad that he used Anita and tossed her to the curb as he is doing to Gopi. Apparently he sees women as mere objects to be used and discarded of once one is finished with them. How would have Ahem reacted if Dhaval did the same to Kinjal?

Dhawal treated Kinjal in a gentlemanly way. Even if there is a serious fight between Dhawal & Kinjal, Kokila will still blame Kinjal and even Ahem will do the same thing. If it happens to Meera or Vidya after the leap then he will get a nasty jolt.Till now Ahem & Gopi did not get a son. When Meera & Vidya grow up, then I think he will understand how Gopi felt although she has not express it to anybody as to how she feels.

i doubt that THE GREAT AHEM MODI wil b affected in any way wen his baby sister Kinjal was illtreated... as after she was married Ahem had never tried to find out about her life... not carring how she is adjusting in her inlaws...😡😡

Kinjal is not Gopi who takes the S of her husband. On the contrary she gives S to Dhawal. She went for modelling against the wishes of her family. She is just like her brother. Even when Kinjal's marriage with Dhawal was going to end in a divorce, Ahem never involved in that. It was Gopi who found out & informed Kokila to save their marriage.

Gopi takes so much responsibility on her shoulders and Ahem doe not even appreciate it! 😡

I think that Gopi is being pushed from pillar to post in this. She is the family's saviour and protector being the elder daughter in law and has taken it literally. Why Ahem on the other hand cannot share that title with her is due to the disparity between males and female which has been shown in all nations, all cultures throughout time. The female is the one who carries the family honour and the only one who can break it. When Ahem was shown in a 'compromising position' with Anita it was brushed away. Had it been Gopi, she would have been thrown out for much less.

Why only Ahem & Anita. Even Kinjal had an affair with Anita's brother, Umang. Even Kinjal's affair was overlooked. When Kokila had gone to Umang's place to talk to him about his marriage with Kinjal, he was not there in the house. He ran away.

The Modis was forcefully sending Kinjal to America where their relatives reside. They were thinking that Kinjal was carrying Umang's child. Kinjal was engaged to Elesh. Urmila told Elesh about her affair with Umang and it stopped the marriage. At the end moment even the relative had refused to take her as it will affect her children.

Even Dhawal refused to marry her initially but Urmila coaxed him to marry Kinjal. Kokila did not have any other choice but to give her to Dhawal.

Ahem is selfish, self-centered, egoistic, self-righteous & possessive. He wants to be dominating like his mom.😡

My thoughts:

What Ahem needs to understand is that they live in a joint family. Gopi cannot just ignore the troubles of the family and only think about Ahem and their daughters. If this is what Ahem wants, then I suggest they move into a house of their own. But of course he will never does this, for he would never think to go against his beloved mother.

It's not like Gopi is thinking about Jigar-Paridhi over everybody else. This Radha situation has an effect on the whole family. Radha could cause harm to anybody, not just Jigar, Paridhi, Tolu and Molu. How Ahem thinks Gopi can switch off and only focus only on him is beyond me.

And if he is really concerned about spending time with her, he should support her and help her to handle the family's situation in the best possible way. Why is he only there for his mother? Gopi is thinking for the good of the family, therefore she deserves some support as well.

As for Radha, nothing surprises me anymore. Gopi is a fool to think she can control her.

Totally agree with you. Even if Ahem wants a separate house where he can live with his family, it will also include his parents to stay with the couple. If that happens, then Modi Bhavan will become weak as Hetal & Baa will not be able to tackle Radha. It only has to be Paridhi to tackle her. All the responsibilities will fall on Paridhi. Even if Kokila wants to take a separate house she cannot even think about it or let Ahem to have a house for himself so as to part with him.

But yes, Ahem can always help Gopi to solve the Radha issue but no. Whatever Radha does, it is only the ladies of the house who give her a fitting reply. And all men including Ahem stand like a statue & shout at Radha helplessly.

I think Ahem says that he is fed up of Radha Vs Paridhi because he does not have the capacity to resolve it. So he does not want Gopi to indulge in this as he feels that it is between PariJigs, Hetal, his mom & Radha.

If he wants to spend time with Gopi, he too could have taken her to the hotel & spend a quality time with her.

He was so romantic in between & that was at the peak. He can always think about the new ideas as to how to make their moments different.

In spite of all the problems, Jigar took an initiative to take Paridhi outside to spend time. Even Ahem could have done the same thing. But he is a pakka khadus.😡
