to keep 'punishing' Gopi but yet expect her to have stayed in MM 8 years ago😕

Today it was clear that Kokila still is punishing Gopi.. She admitted as much to Baa. I can understand her grief and anger too but isn't her expectation that Gopi take all that c*** and still stick to MM a tad unrealistic?🥱

So Kokila expects that Gopi should have stayed even if she was ordered not to enter the mandir, not take part in any activities with the family, she will not be talked with, she will be ignored, taunted and scolded for no mistakes of her own but she should have stayed on bearing all this because this is the 'punishment' for being in an accident? How is that valid?

When the kids eaten the naphthalene balls as sugar, would Kokila have taken responsibility? It is fortunate that Gopi caught the error before the kids decided to experiment. Shouldn't the same leeway be given to Gopi too?

Kokila was in the early days and has now become so blinkered Harini that she sees only HER son, HIS pain, HIS obedience and her situation. Perish the thought that Gopi should be allowed to grieve or gain any sympathy. For Koki it is her who lost her granddaughter, her son who lost his daughter ... As for everyone else? Woh gaye tel lene. They had no input, no rights and no consideration in Kokila's domain.

How can Koki who had empathy to people like Urmi not have an iota of the same for Gopi, who she considered a daughter?

I am glad Madhu offered Gopi a home today and told her that she can stay with her if she finds MM unbearable😊 Finally they showed something that we wanted for long

Koki is still continuing her mistake but she still has too much pride left in her to except that it was an accident and she should have comforted gopi instead of pushing her away and hoping she will take it. It seems to be water off a ducks back for gopi taking koki's anger gopi seem stronger and not phased by it.

Angel, I agree that Gopi seems stronger and more adept at hearing Koki's harsh words. But she is not unaffected by it. She still worries and cares for her family and is hurt when she hears things like "I do not want you in the kitchen. I don't want you in the house" etc.,

Koki's words of understanding people it was such a lie... she proved it herself... If she had understood Gopi she wouldnt have blamed her even after all these years...

Gopi was probably right in staying away with vidya, had koki stayed like this while vidya was growing up god knows what effect she would have had on vidya even now she's stuck in a rut when really she should be getting to know vidya. As koki said to baa she has no intention moving forward from it, she will be like that till they day she dies.
