CHAPTER 10:
Few days past by. Today is Prateek's birthday. The day every truth will be revieled. Every arrangments had been done. Ashish was busy in playing games in laptop when Vidhya entered. She and Tejas had meet his girlfriend a few days ago. A sweet girl named Manyta. They loved each other a lot. Vidhya went to Ashish slid beside him and kept her head in his shoulder. Ashish put the laptop aside and hugged her. He can tell that something is bothering her.
Ashish: Kya baat hai Vidhya? Tu kuch pareshan lag raha hai.
[What happened Vidhya? You looked tensed.]
Vidhya opened her mouth to told the truth but decided against it.
Vidhya: Kuch khas nehi. Vai ek baat kahu? I love you.
[Nothing serious. Bro may I tell u something? I love you.]
Ashish was a bit taken back. He tightened his grip on her.
Ashish: I love you too but Vidhya thik thik bata baat kya hai.
[I love you too Vidhay but tell me what happened.]
Vidhya let out a forced laugh.
Vidhya: Kya Ashish chod na.
[What Ashish? Let it go.]
Ashish was about to say something more but that time Tejas came there. He rasied a eyebrow seeing them like this. Ashish shrugged while Vidhya rolled her eyes.
Tejas: Utth.
[Get up.]
Ashish: Kiyu?
[Why?]
Tejas: Kahi jana hai.
[Need go a place.]
Vidhya: Par kaha?
[But where?]
Tejas: Khud hi pata chal jyega.
[You will get to know yourself.]
Ashish and Vidhya got up and went with Tejas. He led them to the car. He took the driver's seat and Vidhya sat beside him. Ashish took the passenger seat. Tejas drove the car while Vidhya sat in silence. But silencity ran far away from Ashish. So, he asked more then 20 times about where were they going. At last while Tejas threatened him about breaking his leg he became quite. He stopped the car infront of a one storied building. He got out from the car and went towards the house. Ashish and Vidhya looked at each other then followed him followed him. He belled the ring. After some Gopi opened the door. Vidhya and Ashish kept staring at her. Tejas hold their arms and took them inside. Once locking the door Gopi turned her focus on Vidhya. She was seeing her daughter infront of her after 14 yrs. Vidhya kept staring at her mother. She wanted to scream she wanted to cry but she stayed quite. She loved her mother very much but she can't risk getting soft now. Her hands ached to hug Gopi. She wish she could be little again and live with her mother. But she restrained herself. Or else she will never be free. Tejas went to her and squizzed her shoulder. Vidhya looked at him once then went to Gopi and hugged her tightly. Gopi hugged her back. Her eyes welled up. After some time they parted. Gopi placed her hands in both side of her cheek and pecked at her forehead.
Gopi: Meri bacchi.
[My child.]
Vidhya couldn't say anything. She just kept staring at her.
Ashish came forward and touched her feet.
Ashish: Kaisi hai badi ma?
[How are you badi ma?]
Gopi let Vidhya go and hugged Ashish.
Gopi: Main thik hoom tum kaise ho?
[I am fine. How are you?]
Ashish: Main thik hoom.
[I am fine.]
Ashish turned towards Tejas with questioning eyes. Tejas narrate how he met Gopi and how after that they kept in touch.
Tejas: I am sorry Vidhya.
Vidhya: Why? For giving my mother so much happiness or for keeping the words you gave her?
Tejas smiled.
Gopi: Main tumlogo ko ek aur saksh se milana chahti hoom.
Meera came out from the bedroom door.
Gopi: Vidhya yeh hai tumhari badi behen. Meera.
[Vidhya she is your elder sister Meera.]
Then Gopi narrated how she found Meera. Meera went to Vidhya and hugged her. Then Ashish narrate about the diary and Vidhya's plan.
Gopi: Yeh saab Radha ne kya hai?
[Radha did all this?]
Tejas: Ha badi ma. But Vidhya made a super plan.
[Yes badi ma.]
Meera: Wow. Kya plan hai. Main bhi participate karungi. Uss Radha ko accha maja chakhayenge. Main Ajeet ko call karti hoom. Woh hamari madad kar pyega.
[What a plan. I will also participate. We will teach that Radha a good lesson. I will call Ajeet. He will be able to help us.]
Ashish: Who is this Ajeet?
Meera: My boss. I work under him. He is a very famous lawyer.
Ashish: Di there is a proverb. If you call your boss by name he will became you DIL WALE.
Saying that he winked. Meera became beet red and strted chasing Ashish. That made everybody laugh.

In the evening every guest had came. Kids were also present. They placed the cake in a big table. Prateek cut the cake and everybody clapped. After sometime the lights became off. Everybody looked at each other but couldn't understand anything. Ashish shut all the doors off. A ring of light appeared in the stage. Tejas was standing in it with mike in hand.
Tejas: Ladies and gentlemen today is a very special day for us. Today is our beloved brother Prateek Shah's birthday. So, we decided to make the day more memorable for everyone. We arranged a drama. Please take your seat and enjoy the show. Today we are gonna show you something that you never seen in your life.
Then the show strated. They strated the show by showing Ahem-Gopi and Jigar and Rashi's marriage. Then their way through marriage. Then Meera's birth. Then Tolu-Molu's birth. And then came the part of Radha. They show how she tried to kill Meera for sevaral times. How she plotted against that little baby and Gopi. At last how succeded. But they gave a little twist. They show that after when Radha found that Meera's alive she stabbed her with a big knife. Whole area filled up with the sound of a little baby crying. Radha was getting anxious time by time she couldn't bear more.
Radha: Bas karo tum sab. Yeh jhoot hai. Maine toh sirf usse gidaya tha. Bad mein mujhe nehi pata.
[Stop it. This is a lie. I just made Meera fall from the cliff. I don't know anything else.]
The light came. Everybody started at her with wide eyes and open mouth. Radha realized her slip. A man came infront of her.
Man: I am inspector Prithvi. Miss Radha you are under arrest.
Radha tried to escape but in vain. They took her away.
Rashi: Par tum logo ko sacchai ka pata kaise chala?
[But how did you came to know about the truth?]
Vidhya: Mujhe Radha masi ke kamre mein se ek diary mili jaha ussne apne sare kala kartute likh ke rakhi thi. And moreover I trusted my mother.
[I got a diary from Radha masi's room where she wrote down all of her black deed.]
Ba: Hay Bhagwan yeh hamse kaisa paap ho gya.
[Hey God what have I done?]
Kokila just stood there numb. What had she done? She used to call her daughter and whene her daughter need her most she throw her out of the house. She separated her from her own child.
Ahem: Aap sabse bada gunehgar main hoom. Maine apne Gopi pe bharosa nehi kya.
[My sin is bigger than yours. I didn't trust my Gopi.]
Suddenly a voice came from behind.
Voice: Maine to appko kabka maaf kar dya Ahem ji.
[I forgave you long ago Ahem ji.]
They all turned around. Gopi was standing there with Meera.
Gopi: Yeh Meera hai. Hamari Meera.
[This is Meera. Our Meera.]
Then Gopi described how she got Meera. Everybody went to them.
After some time everybody were sitting in the drawing room. Kokila didn't want to be part of this gala time. She was burning in guilt inside but Gopi didn't allow her. After sometime Meera noticed that Vidhya was nowhere to be seen.
Meera: Where is Vidhya? After police arrested Radha masi I didn't see her.
Rashi sent Nandini in search of her. After sometime Nandini came alone.
Nandini: Pura ghar chan mara likin Vidhya di kahi nehi mili. Yeh chitthi mili usske kamre se.
[I searched the whole house but didn't find her. I got this latter from her room.]
Gopi took the latter and opened it. It was adressed to her.
Mamma,
Mujhe dhundne ki joushish maat kijye. Main aapko kahi nehi milungi. Aaj maine apne aap se kya wada pura kar dya. Aapko iss gharme wapas lake. Par main yaha aur nehi reh sakti. Mera di aapke aur Meera di ki tarah itna bada nehi hai. Nehi kar sakti kisi ko maaf. Unn logo ne tab aapko mujhse alag kar dya jaab mujhe aapki sabse jyada jarorat thi. Nehi bhula sakti woh rate jo maine bina neend ke gujari. Ho sake to mujhe maaf kar dijyega. Agar kabhi main unlogoko maaf kar pau toh wapas avuungi.

Please don't try to find me. You won't be successful. Today I fulfil the promise I made to myself.By bringing you back. But I can't live here anymore. My heart isn't big like you and Meera di. I can't forgive them. They snatch you away from me when I nedded you most. I can't forget those sleepless nighs. Forgive me if possible. If any day I feel that I can forgive themselves I will came back.

Reading the letter Gopi burst into crying. Ahem hugged her tight.
Tejas ran outside towards his car. Ashish, Manyta, Meera and Ajeet followed her.
Ashish: Vai mujhe pata hai ki woh kaha gyi hogi.
[Bro I know where she must've gone?]
Meera: Kaha?
[Where?]
Ashish: Airport. Kuch din pehle maine dakha tha. UK ke Bristle University pe usse admission mil gya hai.
[Few days ago I saw. She got admission in Bristle University of UK.]
They got in Tejas's car. Tejas drove the car like a maniac.

In airporte Vidhya was waiting. She got a call from University yesterday. They told her to join as soon as possible. She choose today to get away. She didn't tell anybody because she knew they would've stopped her at any cost. But she wanted this. She needed this break. She was tangled this thought when she felt a hand in her shoulder. She whirled around. It was Tejas.
Tejas: Kaha bhaag rahi hai?
[Where are you going?]
Vidhya: Please Tejas mujhe maat roko. Main thak gyi hoom.
[Please Tejas don't stop me. I am tired.]
Tejas: Par tune ek bar bhi yeh socha ki haamsab tere bina kaise rahenge? Main tere bina kaise rahunga? I love you Vidhya. Please don't leave me.
[But did you think how will everybody survive without you? How I will survive without you?]
Vidhya got tears in her eyes.
Vidhya: I love you too Tejas but I can't stay. This is my dream. And I need a break. Plese don't stop me. And what if everybody opposed our marriage? I won't be able to survive Tejas.
Tejas put a hand on her shoulder and made her looked up.
Tejas: Go Vidhya. Live your dream. And I promise when you will come back you will get the blessing of all the members for our marriage.
Vidhya hugged him for the last time and went away.
Well Vidhya fulfilled her promise now it was Tejas's turn. But he wasn't worried. He has her brother, sister and two wonderful person Manyta and Ajeet's support. He will surely win.

You all are probably wondering what happened next. Well after four years Vidhya came back. As promised all the family members gave the couple their blessings. After one week from returning Tejas and Vidhya got married. And oh!! Ashish and Manyta also got married at the same mandap same time. Meera took all the responsibility while Ajeet was busy with their 2yr old son Abhimanyu. Radha was in mental ashylum. She lost her mental balance after that incident. Vidhya was ready to forgive. With baby steps but still it was progress.
