👏 Wonderful post Anna and great posts raised by you.
No matter how we twisted, in this case Gia got the raw deal.
Gender bias is norm all over the world, and will continue to be so until all women stand together and keep fighting for our rights. I must say we have come long way and yet still have long way to go.
I have experienced it in my professional life as well as in personal life also.
But if we are arguing over mediums and contracts then I only have one question for all those who think that Gia participating in reality show would have effected the character of Gopi. Also why different set of rules for different actors?
What does this say of the audience who view this show? Basically SP and HP and all those who agree with their decision is saying that people of our country our so dumb that they won't know the difference between real and reel.
If they know the difference between a movie and a TV show then they should know the difference between real and reel life, or is different set of intelligence is required for this?
Yes there are some backward people who may not know the difference, but I want to give majority of the audience who watch the show some credit and say that they do know the difference.
In the end lets face the facts here, we will never know what would have happened if Gia had continued to play Gopi while participating in JDJ, but replacing her has definitely brought the show down. I can also say that if Gia was Gopi, the show would not be in the condition it is in today.
We all know the change in the way show is going is not gaining them any brownie points, no matter how much we try to ignore it.
No hard feelings, but I think everyone is now fed up with SNS although for whatever reasons there are people who continue to watch it.
SP and HP and their huge egos will never let them admit that they have made a mistake, it is easy to make a scapegoat out of the actress or let their creatives come up with the stupidest reasons for the downfall of the show.
