Oh TRPs'.The TRP charts are interesting to me, because the more artistic shows with newer concepts rarely make it on the list. And if they do, it's never on the top half 😛. It's why I rarely pay attention to them, plus I'm from the US so they don't count the ratings here. However, when a show like SNS that ruled the charts drops, it's almost hard not to pay attention'.

TRP -- It is unbiased viewers data. I think, the viewers in general are totally upset with the things going on.
TRP are important industry standard to attract the viewers and also the advertisers. This shows the popularity among the viewers and also how they are effective in advertising. It is not a joke to lose the viewers.
Having said that, You/me can ignore this #. But in reality, it is a headache for both SP/PH. Over period of time, advertisement money will be comprised. I am sure, PH/SP would have felt the pressure now.
I agree on the situation to some extent, as i said in earlier post, PH/SP should have worked win/win. I am sure, they will go thru the pain now.
As we all know by now, the trps have dropped by .5 from last week (3.5 to 3.0). The show stands in fifth place, since some shows are tied for the same number, and SNS shows up ninth on the list. It will be interesting to see what happens next week. But to the point: 1) Was SP expecting this? 2) Will they expect it to rise again?

If i am a professional in any industry, i do not want to lose my customers. If you lose your customers, then there is some going wrong. (whether it is .1. or .001), It is WoW (week over week) and it is not a good news for SP/PH.. may be we can interpret anyway but the industry will churn down the #.
I know, they have missed Gia and they will have to go thru this but if they are professionally managed , they will come with all funny ideas which will backfire or work to their advantage. But it will be difficult now as they have missed lead role.
since i am in this profession, i can only say, it is hard and hope how they are going to handle.
For the first question, my own opinion is that, yes they were. After all, when a popular lead actress with a huge fanbase leaves the show, some people will stop watching. It's common, and it's really no surprise. I know people who stopped watching Pavitra Rishta when Sushant left the show, but it still shows up on the list (under 3.0 though).

They would have thought that they can manage the viewers. I think, over confident of SP/PH has resulted this. I know, they do not want to be people dependent but in reality, viewers has final to say.
To answer the second part of the question' I'm actually not sure. It's a tricky task on the CV's part and even on the actors' parts. After all, they are catering to a diverse audience that is full of people who watch it for the story, for Koki, for Rashi, for Gopi, for Nazim and much more. It must be interesting (and even nerve wrecking) on their part to decipher how to reel people in and satisfy everyone in this group.

It is simple math. if you don't serve what the crowd want, you will be neglected. If the SP /PH handle professionally, they can do slightly better without Gia.. I am sure, without Gia, it will be impossible for them to reach #3. I know, you are upset, but truth is viewers will not take the change easily. May be you /bunch of folks can accept the change but it is not easy to penetrate the crowd. For an instance, Leading product maker enjoy the market growth as they have provided product on time with expected crowd/quality. Same thing apply here.
On top of that, not only do they have to analyze and concentrate on their numbers'.but they have to look at other shows as well. Obviously if other shows have more intriguing stories, they'll attract more people. I actually like SNS's story at the moment but even I will say that DABH and Balika Vadhu are at a much more interesting point right now (and on top of that, they don't have to deal with an exit). Sony (finally) made a smart move in airing CID and Crime Patrol three times a week instead of two. SNS will face more number issues once Barun comes back to IPK and the numbers for this show sky rocket.

Fate of SNS is with PH/SP. viewers are patiently waiting.
Will the show be axed very soon? I don't think so, because SP has shows that don't show up on the TRP list. They may axe those and change slots. Will it be axed eventually? Well of course, everything ends (except CID I guess 😆).

Ending the show is easy, but they will have to answer the crowd and also advertisers. I am sure, people in SP/PH will disecting the #.
Please note -- This are my professional comments, and in any industry, customers win.
Let's see what is to come 😊
