PH/SP should have handled the whole mess win/win and instead they think, they can manipulate viewers.

I know , GM exit won't sound death but will have impact on financially and also image of the SP. SP has taken the viewers for a ride and viewers will silently take SP/PH for a ride.

You can also twist that statement around and say that the channel's actions were the cause of GM's exit and therefore that's how the show's end was met... 😉

But I know what you mean though. In the end, it's in SP's hands to make it or break it. I know it's weird for SNS to garner lower TRPs than usual, but just because a show has bad or mediocre TRPs, it doesn't mean it's a bad show. Then again, this statement is coming from a NBTNMKK fan and this show isn't even on the charts, despite it's popularity 😆

Just as some final comments...

I wonder what the viewers who left SNS are doing at 7 pm 😆. Some people have said that these ex viewers turned to other shows. This could be true to some extent, however SNS has the highest TRP's for the 7 pm slot. This is another reason why I think this show is not in any danger of ending abruptly. Colors airs Kairee at 7 but that's not on the chart. Mrs. Kaushik airs on Zee at 7, but that's on the lower end of the chart.

Maybe there should be a poll 😛

Hopefully SP/PH will smartly move this serial going forward with good character and story line.

Already SNS was in swinging mood with lots of ups and down...Suddenly they show Kokila doesn't like Gopi spending time with Ahem, She suddenly will punish Ahem for not concentrating on work. Well said Jolin. SNS is not all the great story. We stick with SNS, because of Giaa, and GINA moments. It was the magic, which kept the viewers, eventhough we didn't like some of the tracks. But, we all know this simple truth. I wonder, how come PH is not ready to accept this truth. Really, i am doubting on their intelligence. Nobody is interested to see Urshi kalakaries, Raji's SR. and the newbiee. This is the fact. People want to accept it, then accept it or just leave it.

Nice post Galebi & some wonderful replies. I generally don't comment on the rise and fall of TRPs as I always watch it on utube... so I'm neither proud Or guilty in anyway. If I like the content and drama I watch it irrespective of any natural & supernatural pressure. 😈

Yes, Channel was sure that TRPs will suffer and are prepared for the outbreaks of mass hysteria. They have sacked many in the past so I'm sure they know abt the viewers and what happens when a popular and loved member is replace (old is gold). I'm surprised to see SNS still in the TRP race.😲 😕

Well, I'm reminded of rupee's fortune & misfortune story. In 2007 when the dollar was weak at one point it was Rs35 to a dollar & unfortunately I was on an assignment in India then...omg every tom dick & harry came to my cube to discuss the misfortune of dollar and sympathized at my net worth going down lol. And today we are at Rs. 58 to a dollar.

But economics isn't a morality play, nor is the rupee's decline a parable that can be used here but I just felt like mentioning that it would be wrong to pin the cause of low TRP only on the replacement. There are many other factors that govern the TRPs. It is indeed a form of cosmic justice according to few but the reality is very different. SP is not ruled by any particular show and precisely actor. 😛

However, the show is still a good one for me . Even without Gohem "chemistry" 😛. I am still enjoying the wonderfully insane escapism...I'm sure there are few like me who'll let SNS run its full course.

Forum king, it is good to be optimistic & dreaming😉. But nobody has the crystal ball so we can't predict what the future holds. Yes, I'll love to see a logical end and no loose ends. Ahem & Koki mended if not completely fixed 😆

Galebi, Polls In India never give the real results. I had done my project in Mumbai & had conducted a TV poll hours before Sania Mirza's fourth round match against Maria Sharapova in the US Open and a full 82 per cent taking part in the poll predicted a Mirza victory. In another poll, 55 per cent felt Sharapova would be under greater pressure than Mirza.😛
But the score for the one-sided match that followed was shocking but sad truth for Mirza. But there was little doubt that it was an unequal contest, and at no stage did anything other than a Sharapova win look likely. Yet, Indians had convinced themselves that a Mirza win was on the cards.
Poll results will be... Emotional Indians wishful thinking 😃

Cool OP.

Too many uncertainties to know the full story behind the story. Too many unknowns. Giaa, PH, SP. Each with their own version of what happened and why it happened.

But at the end of the day SP is a business. They don't think with emotions like we do. They will do what is good for SP and damn the world. Such is life. Foolish to believe otherwise.

Other thing to note. People are very fickle. Today SNS is their life. Tomorrow IPPKND is. So whilst people may stop watching SNS. They are not going to tune out of SP... and if SP put out a dynamite serial in 6 months time everyone will flock to watch... SNS won't even be remembered.
