My salute to you.
I have seen coward but I have never seen coward like SNS forum members. We all are fighting against a big establishment of SP and PH.
They will protect them by hook and crook. So our fans of Giaa needs to be strong enough to fight against. There are plenty of hope in the air to bring Giaa back. TRP already falling -Ahem's open answer.
Kokila in JDJ. They have to justify all these.
If we stay tall we must win and justice will prevail to GIAA.
GIAA has to come back not for her but for die-hard and dedicated fan. It will be hard for her but without die-hard fans she couldn't win in this dirty politics of show biz.
No doubt she is an excellent actress.
Please keep working as a flag bearer of SNS until we get back GIAA.
People power is the Power.
Thank you.

This is direct member bashing.

Members have been working hard in their efforts of bringing Giaa back.
But if people have chosen to accept Devoleena and move on, their opinion needs to be respected, just as yours is

Please be careful in the future.

Yuks

I am not going to move on. I want Giaa Manek back. The scenes that we have been waiting to hear since the show began happened and it was with someone else.
Giaa Manek is Gopi. For me she is and always will be Gopi. Cv's are doing this on purpose as they know that people are not going to accept the new girl soon so they came up with this plan. I am not going to fall for it.
I want Giaa back means I want her back.

Sorry Ritu... my topic heading was a little confusing.. corrected it... I am also having the same opinion of you You may have understood that if you have read my long rant... it is ok..
I know that CVs are doing it purposely.. but this is not going to work beacuse SNS is not exactly an youth show .. watched by old people and also liitle children... I know this because my colleauges watch this serial because their 3 year olds like to see Gopi..

Sorry yuks.. I never intended any member bashing in this post... If knowingly or unknowingly it has hurt anyone I ask sorry for the same... I respect the opinion of people to accept Devoleena and I have nothing against her... they are professional artists and are doing their job... My view is against the channel who has imposed decisions on viewers without even a hint...

Hello d1211,
Truth always bitter. I always maintained professionalism.
Didn't hurt any one. But my main dialogue is bring GIAA back and serve the justice to the show, audience and to GIAA.
You please keep going to bring GIAA back.
You are the flagbearer for this hard core job.
My respect to you.

My problem is SP said that if you go, you are out. Giaa made the choice to go to JDJ. Other actors were given the same ultimatum and they stayed. Thats just how bosses work. They give ultimatums, its your choice what you want.

Giaa chose Jhalak knowing that SP doesnt make empty threats. So what to say when obv what a person wants to do is more important?

I understand the change is sudden and unexpected, but thats why the character is ALWAYS more important than the actor. I like Gopi. I liked Giaa as Gopi and I'm starting to like Debo as Gopi. As long as the PH don't tamper with the characterizations, why is it such a big deal that some people moved on?

Actually, I feel that maybe the viewers don't understand the concept of TV serials. They are supposed to fall in love with the characters of the soaps. Gopi hasn't changed.

Even if people are HUGE Giaa fans, isn't her preference more important then? Just going crazy because an actress wanted to try something new and had the guts to no take heed of the warning of SP, should we all become angry and sulky? Actors are actors and they go where they want or where there's money.

So I have moved on. And so has my family. Win-win for all of us.

I agree with you. Why I am supporting this is not for Giaa. I think everyone Giaa, PH, and SP was at fault for this fiasco. The reason I would fight is for the rights of the viewers. SP is a big channel, they and the PH should know how to handle these type of things. The underhanded way they foisted the new actress in the audience's face was like saying we will do what we want, who cares about you.

Yes, it is a serial and we eventually will move on. The serial may end or it may reach the sky. The show doesn't rule my life. A lot of us will watch other serials or stop watching all together. The thing is SP and the PH must have known they were firing Giaa a few days ago. They can't conjure up a new actress and shoot scenes with her overnight to move the show from one day to the next seamlessly like they did. The day they knew Giaa had to go, they should have given her a termination letter and called a press conference to let the viewers know. They should have been up front about the whole thing. There could have been a change in the track to hide Gopi's face or presence and the audience could have got adjusted to her removal. It was as if they wanted to rub in Giaa's face that they can replace her over night and show her her place. They forgot though they are answerable to viewers. They dealt with the whole issue so ruthlessly and with utter disregard to the viewers' emotions.

This may be a David vs Goliath fight. It may be a wasted effort and Giaa may not even be back, but if the channels and the production houses can learn a lesson that they have to listen to their viewers, then it is worth it.

We don't know the whole story. Giaa was initially told she could participate. We just know from the news that came out at first back in May. Rashmi Sharma said she didn't have any problems and SP made a contract with Colors for exchange of actors in the reality shows. So everyone including Giaa thought it was OK for her to participate. Then they just fired her out of the blue. I may be wrong but I am just getting this from the news that were published. Still, I am not supporting it to get Giaa back. I am supporting it as a viewer who was taken for granted. Why SP and PH are not slowing down the story a little to get everyone used to the new face? Why they changed the actor overnight? They are rubbing it in everyone's face to say this their show and nobody else has a say.

Hi,
I will reply to the bold part of your post in another reply, since I want to put it in third page.
For other points, people relate more to a face than character in serials, because we are seeing it not imagining. Imagination part comes when we read a novel. To relate a face to the characters, we watch serials/movies. I never had a face to Harry Potter when I read the first book. But after the movie came, can you imagine Potter with another face?
I never said in my post that Gia is not completely at fault. I even agree that it may be her decision. But what I dont agree with is viewers taken into a ride by SP/PH/Gia whoever it is. If it was solely her decision to quit overnight, I even feel she should be punished by bringing back to the show she quit. But I feel it is not her decision. Because all the scenes they have shown tilll date was already being shot with Gia, and behind her back they even bought a replacement.
About Devoleena, I dont hate her. I even appreciate her for taking such a big risk. Even she knows she is going to be criticised. You cannot expect a new person to perform exactly the same way from first day. I will also like her if I watch her. But I am not going to watch.. that is another case.
I have mentioned in my replies and other post that Gia is not a victim. I even updated my post, if it has made some confusion. Sorry for that. She is already popular and her popularity is going to increase ten fold next week.
I also want to add apoint about other actors in the show. They are also going to suffer by this stupid decision. Even if people like you are still watching, half of the people has stopped watching. You can see it from the general ambience of the forum. Rest half will stop this week, since Cv s continued with same story line and audience got their happy ending. Loose ends of the show like Holi rememberance is tied. CVs did not even gave time for audience to connect with new Gopi.
Actor like Nazim, who was always overshadowed by Gia, is carrying the show on his shoulder this week. He is getting chance to show his real talent, but how long this can continue? How will they bring the audience back to the show who has already left because they are taken on a ride?
