Part 6
Ahem: Kinjal, Tell me now. What happened?
Kinjal: Bhai, it is best we go out to talk, as my mother-in-law will use this to create a problem in our families.
Ahem wanted to blast her, but he felt a small hand on his arm. Instinctively, he knew it was Gopi and he immediately got calm.
They all left telling Urmila that they are going to the temple. At the temple, Kinjal tells Ahem all that she did to create a misunderstanding between him and Gopi.
Kinjal: I am sorry Ahem bhai. What I have done is a big mistake, and I'm willing to do whatever you want me to do for you to forgive me.
Ahem: For starters, don't even bother talking to me ever again or Gopi.
With that, Ahem left without even turning back. He angryily got into the car waiiting for Gopi to join him.
Gopi: Don't worry Kinjal. You do know his temper. I'll calm him down.
Kinjal: I'm really sorry Gopi Bhabhi.
Gopi: I've forgiven you, it will take him some time but he will come around. I'll have to go now. Bye
Gopi rushes into the car and sits down. She reaches to put on belt but Ahem stops her and puts on her seat belt for her. He speeds away and goes parks at a park they last went to. He gets out of the car and Gopi follows him. He goes and sits down at a bench in a secluded place. Gopi sits beside him.
Gopi: Ahemji...
Ahem: I'm sorry Gopi, but I can't forgive her. Yet alone, I can't forgive myself. I've done so much to you. I've said so many things, I've hurt you so much, sorry won't be enough for what I've done. You were innocent all this time, yet you always got punished.
Ahem gets up and falls on his knees before Gopi.
Ahem: Gopi, will you find a place in your heart to forgive me. Find a place to forgive me and give me another chance?
Gopi: Ahemji please get up
Ahem: No, not until you say you have forgiven me.
Gopi: It is not your fault Ahemji. It was the situation. You married me because Maaji and everything else happened because of the situation we were in.
Ahem: I could of at least talked to you instead of blasting every time. Please give me another chance?
Gopi: The moment you started to repent for your actions, I've forgiven you.
Ahem gets up and picks Gopi up and spins her around.
Ahem: Thank you gopi. Thank you so much. I don't know what I've would have done if you had said no. From now on, you would not have to worry and if something ever comes up, I'll always ask you before jumping to decisions. Don't ever hesitate to ask me anything, ok?
(They are in an embrace, Gopi hasn't realized it yet)
Gopi: There is one thing...
Ahem: No, I cannot forgive Kinjal and please don't bring her up. I want this moment to be happy, not end off bad.
Gopi: Only if you promise that we will talk about this later.
Ahem: Ok...
Gopi realizes that they are in an embrace, so she tries to move away but Ahem tightens his hold. With one hand, he lifts Gopi's chin up to meet his eyes.
Ahem: Gopi, I love you.
Gopi looks into his eyes and sees his sincerity and love for her. Gopi blushes.
Ahem: You forgot to give me something today Gopi! You made a promise and yet you forgot. It is ok, you can give it to me now.
Gopi is confused.
Gopi: What is it Ahem ji?
Ahem: How can you forget so soon? You made the promise this morning.
Gopi: ohhh, but I …. already …. gave you ….one this morning
Ahem: Well, I want one to celebrate this occasion
Gopi starts blushing and starts to get out of his embrace but he doesn't let her.
Gopi: Ahemij, this is a park, people may see us.
Ahem: Don't worry Gopi, my friend owns this park, and he has closed down the park saying it's closed down for maintenance. We have this park till the afternoon. So you can give me the kiss. And don't try to escape, cause I won't let you go till you give it to me.
Ahem notices that Gopi is getting uncomfortable. He lets her go. I should have known not to force her into this.
Ahem: I'm sorry Gopi, I shouldn't force you to do something you don't want.
Gopi: Not its cause.. last time...
Ahem: What last time??
Back to the house
Chiraj comes back alone to the house.
Hetal: Jigar ke papa, where is Jigar?
Chiraj: Jigar had to attend an important meeting in Chennai. He would be back late tonight or early tomorrow morning depending on when the meeting ends.
Rashi gets sadden. He left without telling me, I guess he hasn't forgiven me.
Rashi: I'll go make some tea.
Chiraj: Oh by the way Rashi, Jigar wanted me to give you this.
Rashi: Thank you papa ji
She went into the kitchen and opened the note
Rashi, I have this important meeting I have to attend to, I'm sure papa would of told you by now. Of what I said this morning, I still don't know what to do. I am at lost. One side, my heart wants to forgive you, but I also cannot accept the betrayal you have done. You can stay. To the family, we will act as husband and wife, but within our bedroom, it would not be as so. I do hope that even if you have not changed, that you would at least not hurt my family in the process. I'm going to stay here at a hotel for tonight and come back in the morning.
