PART TWO Recap:- Ahem confronts his gulity feeling to Anita. She questions him about why didnt confess his feelings to Gopi. Ahem turns his face away, when questions him about the serious issue which had taken place between GoHem. "ahem, if your comfortable enough to tell me, then go ahead, i might help you with sorting the issues out between you and Gopi" she says in an explanative tone. "help!! (sighs) anita its not going to that easy" he said, "why are you saying this ahem??" she questioned him. Ahem sadly smiles and says "anita, its my guilt and past deeds that dont allow me to tell Gopi what i feel for her" "guilt?! past deeds?!! ahem am really not undersatnding what are you trying to say?? tell me everything in detail" anita says. They both are standing near the railing of the terrace, ahem says "Anita, i have ill treated her, abused her, hurted her emotion, accussed her, have tried her throwing out of the house, have considered her a stigma and a burdern, i have looked down upon her several times and (stops)" "and what ahem??" she questions him, he looks at her and turns the other side says "and even slapped her" Anita is shocked and remains quite, trying to absorb everything what ahem told her. After awhile she says "ahem, had you gone mad?? how could you be so cruel to a girl like gopi?? i mean.. she is nothign less then an angel ahem and you (pauses) may i know the reason, what made you so cruel towards her??" she said in an angered tone. "Anitaa, you can say that, i was all out of my mind" pauses and says "anita,, we loved each other and wanted to get married, but mom fixed my marriage to gopi and i couldnt let mom down, so i had to break our relation with you and marry gopi. But, i was very upset with what mom did with me, knowing the fact that i loved someone else, mom made me marry gopi. I had to take out frustatiion on someone, it wsa obvious i couldnt ill treat mom, sooo" "soo you troubled that poor gopi, for no fault of hers" anita said in an amussed tone. "anita, i anyhow wanted to get rid of her from my life and i wanted you back in my life. i tried all possible ways and means to tell mom how imperfect gopi is for me as a life partner, but mom never budged (pauses) i know anita, she has quitely suffered alot, you what anita her quiteness was her biggest asset for me, i would kinda get an encouagement from it to keep doing ill towards her, because deep i knew that, come what may she'l never open her mouth against me (pauses) i reaally feel sorry for my past deeds and am ashamed of it too" he said. "ahem how could you take undue advantage of her quitness??" she said in a digusted tone, "i told you anitaa, her quitness turned to be my boosting and kept doing bad to her" he said, anita sighs and says "you know what ahem i feel disgusted, my herat goes out too that poor girl, she has suffered immensely" . There is sielnce between the two. Breaking the silence, anita says "if you hated her so much, then how did this turned into love???", he smiles and facing her says "anitaa, as time flew by and after spending little time i started to understand her, i started to know her, i started to recongise her. i realised that, she is genuine, the way she took of everyone in the house, the way she won mom's heart, her naviness everything wsa genuine, her forget and forgive nature, (pauses). Slowly, i started to enjoy her company, i started liking the way she took care of all my needs, i liked the food she would cook, her calm nature, her quiteness all these qualities kept pulling me towards her. Then, i started to make reasons to be with her, around her or at the most to be least near her, whenever she cried my heart would sink, whenever she was sad i couldnt bear it. I loved to see her smile, i loved the twinkle in her talkitive eyes, i loved the blush around her cheeks, i loved the way she would call me ahemjii, you know anitaa, her voice has some magic in it. Slowly, i started doing all those things that would bring a smile on her face and whenevr she smiled my heart would swell with pride. Whenever she thanks me, when i help her out i feel like i have successfully acheivied something. (pause) Then she met with a terrible accident, gopi was fighting a battle of life and death, she was in arms with blood oozzing from her head, unconscious. I couldnt see like that, i felt like, if genie would have been in reality i would have asked him make gopi stand in front of me, the way she used to be. When gopi, was in that state i realised that what i liked about her was nothing but loved about her and it was then i realised i loved her." hearing all this anita has a satifactory smile on her face. There is silence between them.
Breaking the silence, anita says "Ahem, you know what... your sounding like romantic hero of some bollywood movie". they both laugh a little. She says, "ahem, if you love gopi so much then why dont you confess it to her??" "anita, didnt i tell you about my past behaviour, how forget it??" he said sadly. She explains to him saying "see ahem, whatever i have heard about gopi from you, irrespective of your obnoxious and disgusting behaviour towards her, she kept quite and supported you, ahem dear, this shows how devoted she is to you and speaks voluems about how she loves you. How much ever i have observed about gopi, on tnat basis i can say that, gopi has a heart of gold, noo.. i mean a heart of diamond. I am very sure ahem she must have forgiven you long back and anyways, unless you tell her what you feel about her, how on earth are you going to know what exactly is there in her heart??" "anitaa, i fear rejection" he sadly says. "Oh! come on ahem, dont be a spoil sport and go and tell her, tell how much you love her.. i know, she'l never let you down.." after hearing anita say this, "i will tell her" ahem says determindely, she happily smile at him and there is silence . "ummm... btw, ahem (pauses) i am going to US tomorrow" he is surprised to hear this and says "why?? i mean.. suddenlyyy.. your going to US??" "yes, i have got a job for myself and they are giving me accomodation too, so i thought of not letting the opportunity go.. and anyways, i cant stay here for long naa, after all my the guest here". They both smlie at each other and ahem says "congratulations and yaehh.. never consider yourself to be a guest here.. you have two friends now, me and gopi" she nods a yes. "Ahem, i want you to confess your fellingts to gopi, i dint get my love, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt get yours" he nods a yes. Tears brim in her eyes and says " ahem, can i get a hug from for the last time.. please" she says in a requistive tone, he nods a yes and they both hug each other.
Breaking the hug ahem takes her hand in his and says "anitaa, i want you to move on in your life. I wont be able to live in peace, if i keep seeing you in pain and my guilt will be haunting me" she give him a smile and says "i cant promise yoou, but will give it a try" hearing her say this ahem kisses her forehead and hugs her again. He breaks the hug and says "anita, its pretty late.. i think we should go and sleep now" she teasingly says "umm.. i think you should leave, gopi must be waiting for you.. ummm... il wait here for sometime (sighs)" he blushes on hearing about gopi and bids anita saying a good night.
On the other hand, Gopip has seen ahem and anita together in the terrace, huggung and kissing.. But, sans the conversation between them.
