gopi: ahem, this is my gift for you

ahem: what for???

gopi: ahem, you forgot again?? it's our third year of being together

ahem: how could i ever forget

it was a bright saturday morning, ahem and gopi went to the beach for a picnic. there gopi gifted ahem a nice shirt and purfume. it was their third year of being together. they were deeply in love. but the sad thing was that ahems parents did not know about gopi and gopis mama and mami also didnt know about ahem. jigar ahems brother, knew that his bhai had a girlfriend but he didnt know who this person was exactly and rashi was also in the same boat. even though ahem and gopi were madly in love, they did not think about marriage as they were both concentrating hard in college.

kokila on the hand was thinking about ahems marriage. she thought it was time that ahem gets married with a nice girl. kokila rang the pandit, to organise some girls for ahem. kokila soon went searching for a nice girl. day after day she went, and each girl was rejected one after the other. one day the pandit told kokila that he has met a nice family and they have two girls, gopi and rashi. kokila thought that the names sounded positive enough, but she especially like the name rashi. she didnt exactly know what it was but there was something about the name rashi. the pandit immediatley informed urmilla. she was so glad to hear the good news.

later that night, gopi came home after meeting ahem. urmilla told gopi and rashi the good news. gopi was really happy for rashi. except there was one small problem, urmilla forgot to tell the two girls who was actually coming tomorrow. they didnt know that the modi family were going to come to their house tomorrow. kokila also informed the modi family that she is going to look for a girl for ahem. ahem was surprised, he couldnt beleive of what his mother was going on about. ahem didnt argue with his mom, but he left his dinner and went to his room. while he was in his room, kokila invited hetal and jigar to come along as well. both agreed as they wanted know what it felt like going to the girls house before marriage.

meanwhile ahem was on the phone to gopi.

ahem: hello, gopi?

gopi: yes, speaking mr ahem ji

ahem: we have a small problem...

gopi: problem??

ahem: yes...(takes a sigh), woh...mom has arranged a girl for me to marry

gopi: kya?? (long silence)

ahem: gopi...gopi?

gopi: yeah im still here...

ahem: dont worry, ill think of something

ahem hung up. he was shocked himself. how can his mother arrange a girl for him without even asking. she didnt even mention the word marriage with him once. ahem could not go to sleep all night. meanwhile gopi was teary faced and she couldnt stop thinking about what ahem just said to her. how could it all just end, the love that has lasted three years.

NEXT MORNING

the modi family woke at 6 in the morning. they had their morning pooja. hetal prayed for ahem wishing all the best for ahem. they went and had breakfast and went upstairs to get ready to go to rajpal nagar. meanwhile the two girls were quickly doing the housework with urmilla helping them. eventually gopi and rashi also went to get ready.

gopi: are you excited rashi?

rashi: i dunno gopi, i guess im excited and nervous, because what if i get rejected?

gopi: im sure, he will not reject you, who could ever reject you?? you are just so cute

the two girls smiled and got ready. both were wearing elegant slawar kameezez. rashi took longer to get ready, by the time gopi got ready the modi family had arrived. urmilla told gopi to go greet the family at the door. gopi opened the door and greeted them one by one. hetal and kokila were already liking the shah family. urmilla also greeted hetal and kokila and told them to take a seat. gopi was still standing at the door when jigar and ahem came. ahem was standing behind jigar so gopi couldnt see him. jigar looked up and saw the love a pretty young girl standing there. gopi greeted jigar and jigar greeted her back but he wouldnt move. gopi was standing there awkwardly. eventually ahem gave jigar a push from behind. gopi greeted the last person of the modi family and that was her ahem ji. gopi was so surprised to see ahem at her house, ahem also had the same expressions. then finally gopi mouthed "ahem"

so what will ahem and gopi end up doing? is kokila going to accept rashi? is jigar in love with gopi?
