Gopi threw nervous glances at everybody as she entered the hotel, what would people tell? What will Nalin think if he heard about it? . After entering the room, she noticed that Aham was putting Do not disturb sign on the door. Gopi immediately told Ahem that she has to go soon as her employers have a new dress collection coming out soon. Ahem ignored what she said, so she added that she is a married lady and staying in a hotel room with him will tarnish her reputation if someone sees her.
Ahem was seething in anger, he shook Gopi and said- remember one thing- you are my wife in both legal and moral sense. Getting close to me is not immoral.
Gopi cried out that she has moved on and is now a mother. She told him that she wants to give them all the love that she was deprived of. She begged Ahem to find a suitable girl and marry her. Gopi also asked forgiveness for the bad time she gave to him during their marriage.
Ahem got emotional too. He told Gopi that he can't forget her confession on their first holi as a married couple. He was blind to not see her pure love towards him. He begged Gopi to give him one chance to make amends and turn over a new leaf. He held her close to his heart and said -"Gopi I want your love - all of it".
Gopi made further pleas but they didn't work on Ahem. Gopi knew that they never worked in the past and they won't work now too. She wasn't afraid of that, what really scared her was the fact that her own pleas were half hearted . Thoughts about Ahem hit her heart like waves hitting the shore. She had prayed to God to make Ahem accept her - and Kanhaji did accept her prayer - but a little too late. Suddenly a thought came to her mind - Was it really too late? Gopi didn't have an answer for that. She tried to shake off the thought but it clung to her. Ahem was right in front of her and she knew that he loves her now but she didn't know what to do about that.
Was it God's signal or was it the signal of her doom? She remembered how she wanted to be close to him, how much she wanted to put his head on her lap and feel his face...how much she wanted to rest on his strong shoulders...how much she wanted to feel the warmth of his body.
Gopi felt as if she was going mad, all her defenses have broken down and she can't think straight any more. She tried reminding herself that Ahem was her past but her heart told her to plunge into the depths of her feelings.
Gopi embraced Ahem and told him "Ahem why did you leave me? I love you more than myself"
Gopi was like an nation whose soldiers have deserted, all Ahem had to do was to move ahead and conquer her...she was willing to be ruled over by him.
Ahem made his conquest and Gopi rejoiced her defeat. They slept peacefully and were woken up by a call on Gopi's cellphone. She was rudely awaken to the reality - it was Nalin's call. She froze and Ahem came close to her and felt her again and asked whose call it was?...Gopi stammered NNN Nalin. Ahem received a jolt and he cut the call...soon an SMS came informing that he will be a bit late today as his project is behind schedule.
Gopi knew that she had to go back to her house but she was scared of facing Nalin. After Gopi wore her saree again, Ahem said come let's eat something and then let's rush to the airport . He smiled and said that he booked a ticket for her as he knew that she is still in love with him. Gopi declined - she asked him to not rush things - her kids will be traumatised if she leaves like this so she'll make some excuse about some fashion show in Mumbai and fly to Rajkot .She urged Ahem to give her two days time...and she'll spend a week with him.
Ahem reluctantly agreed and arranged for her to be dropped home - But before leaving he made Gopi promise him one thing - She won't allow Nalin to touch her.
