This vow-taking is starting to annoy me because there's no ray of light that's telling me when the vows will be voided or in some cases, taken again. Geez, is every problem's solution a damn vow? I can't tie my shoe, so I'll take a vow about never wearing shoes again! How about getting shoes without laces? Gopi didn't need to take this vow. She could've just told herself that from now, whatever problem there is, she'll deal with it alone--just like she "dealt" or rather suffered the problems before Ahem cared to know whether she lived or was dead. Now, Koki has both Gopi and Ahem under her whip and the saga continues...

The idiot is not gonna notice she's not around , he will be obsessed with work,lappy ,moby and mummy. As long he gets his green tea /black tea at the right tym ,dhokla and chutney for breakfast and fruit ,dhall ,vegetable curry and roti for supper he won't miss anything or anybody . Gopi will come to sleep late ,get up before him , she will be stuck in the kitchen so he won't see her , I don't want to think of valentines day cos I had great hopes that the idiot will be romantic after jigar used the word but he can be romantic in buying gift for his sil , wife is forgotten again. My heart bleeds for u gopi , I wish I could send u romantic man for valentines but u r so stuck on ur ahemji I could just cry for all that u are missing out on .gopi I do admire ur loving the idiot so much that you wud even give up the little u have of him (which is a teaspoon full) for his happiness. Nevermind focus on ur kanaji he won't let u down.

Todays episode was great. Koki got to lay down the law with Aham and Gopi. Let's be honest here. These two idiots have gone and made RaJig worse off then they were before. As they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

I loved the way Koki said that no matter what Aham should not have got distracted. And yes he did lose focus. He even forgot he had a job to do. All he could see was Gopi and what she wished for. He didn't even consider Jigar's feelings on the matter. Nope. The bumbling duo just bulldozed their way through to what they thought was right. Well guess what. It was a disaster. And the fruits of that disaster will be felt by RaJig most of all. GoHam have once again helped them to start building their house on a shaky foundation. Foundation is bound to collapse in the first wind. So go GoHam! Mess up RaJig even more then they already are.

As for Gopi. I am sick and tired of her tears. She knows what her mil requires of her. And if she listens to her and sticks to what she says she won't go wrong. And she and Aham would have been a hell of a lot better off for it. Koki has said her that tears don't bring anything. She needs to be strong. She is the future matriach of the Modi household. And Koki is doing her best to mould her into someone who will be able to cope. Not burst into tears at the slightest little mishap. And with a devrani like Ratty she needs all the guidance she can get. Else she will be a pushover.

I had wondered about Koki's attitude the last few epis. But now I am glad for it. Someone needs to take a stick to GoHam and teach them to sort themselves out first and then worry about the rest of the world. Then maybe they would actually be able to achieve something. Together! As Saathiya's.

Take care of him, help him, get him to see how much you are capable so that her son comes to realize what a gem his wife is. And they were getting there.. Slowly but surely. This Rashi thing sidetracked that journey..

And if Ahem had continued the same way, I am sure he would have missed a lot of work himself but would also have made Jigar miss his work. At the end of the day if not Koki, it would have been Chirag who would have pulled them up for not doing work.

We forget that to Ahem work is still God. He would never forgive himself or Gopi if he had failed for example to get a project that he worked hard for. Everything needs to have a limit and Koki pointed out that albeit strongly and rudely.. We may not like her words, her tone, her punishments.. But at the end of the day she is the one who is getting these out of the mess and pointing to what is important. Work is still important.

Koki's still overreacting in my opinion. My dad, like Koki, has instilled in my sisters and I that we focus on our education, to have our own identity--it's almost like a second skin. He used to wake us up at 5am in the morning when we were in elementary school, so that we could study. However, he doesn't do that anymore because firstly, we've grown and we know what we're supposed to do--much like Ahem knows he can't forsake the business. Koki just needs to let go of the reins. Her son knows what she expects from him and if she feels like he's forgotten, there are other ways of reminding him other than making him iron clothes.

As much as everyone is horrified by Koki's treatment of the duo. They deserve it. Gopi has been completely deaf and dumb to all Koki's warnings. As for Aham. I think Koki expected way more of him. And to be honest so did I. Not even a head over heels in love businessman should forget about his work commitments.

Sometimes when the lesson is hard to teach you just have to use the tough love approach.
