She wants a good DIL for herself and an excellent businessman of a son for herself again! Where's the part about wanting something for them? Six feet under probably. I, too, found it odd that she said that a woman's respect comes from her husband. A man's money and his status does not give a woman respect. It's the bloody heart that does and Parag has already done that! Oh Nani, thou has birthed an evil-spawn! 🤢
This vow-taking is starting to annoy me because there's no ray of light that's telling me when the vows will be voided or in some cases, taken again. Geez, is every problem's solution a damn vow? I can't tie my shoe, so I'll take a vow about never wearing shoes again! How about getting shoes without laces? Gopi didn't need to take this vow. She could've just told herself that from now, whatever problem there is, she'll deal with it alone--just like she "dealt" or rather suffered the problems before Ahem cared to know whether she lived or was dead. Now, Koki has both Gopi and Ahem under her whip and the saga continues...
