So it was decided that everyone will be going for an outing... the news itself had made everyone happy...
When Rashi heard this news she was super exicted and thought probably she will get a chance to speak to jigarji in private and explain her situation...
she ran towards the kitchen to inform gopi about it... "gopi did you hear that..." gopi turned "what rashiben?"
rashi spoke excitedly "oh didnt you hear we are going for an outing for couple of days... our entire family and mummy papa with dhavalbhai and kinjal...
it will be fun gopi... we all will have a nice time... wouldnt it be great... i am so excited gopi... i hope i get a chance to spend some time with jigarji..." rashi lost in her thoughts...
gopi questioned "but where are we going rashiben.. " rashi was still lost in her thoughts just then ahem called for gopi with his tea..
gopi left hurridely with tea leaving rashi with her thoughts... !!!
in the room ahem was sitting on his sofa and working... gopi went up to him and offered tea.. he was happy to drink it and asked her to sit next him...
gopi was surprised none the less she did what he said... ahem looked at her "gopi can you help me file these papers... first the arrange the papers by sorting them in the order of dates..."
he explained to her by showing an example, he knew she was a quick learner... she was on the task immediately... he continued to work on his laptop and kept an eye on gopi's innocent face...
ahem's assisstant at office had alreay arranged the file in proper order... but while gopi was prepapring his tea, mr. modi was at work to change the order... just to make gopi spend some time with him... !!!
they were quitely wokring, exchanging smiles and glances in between... gopi was about to finish her task when kokila came up...
"gopivahu what are you doing... we shuld start with dinner preparation... lets go down " kokila was shocked to see gopi and ahem sitting on the sofa and working...
Gopi looked at ahem.. he had this expression of 'first finish this and then move... ' now she looked at kokila and spoke" ji maaji i will just finish filing thesse papers for ahemji and will be down in 10 mins.. "
Kokila got irritated and spoke" theek hain but be quick... and ahem motabhai and jigar are back from office, they are lookng for you... "
"ji mom i will come once i update few things and by that time gopi will also finish filing... in 10 mins " !!
kokila reluctantly left... ahem looked at gopi who was working faster now to join his mom...
on finishing gopi handed the file to ahem... "thank you gopi you were a big help... now lets go down.. everyone must be waiting for us.." ahem smiled at her...
they both headed down... gopi and ahem greeted chirag and jigar... gopi started to walk towards kitchen.. ahem kept looking in her direction... he came back to his senses when chirag
started their conversation about the new project...
it was a quite dinner and everyone retired early after another hectic day... for gopi it was another emotionally tiring day... she prefered to sleep early and ahem decided to keep
his distance for the night... he also needed to focus on his new project for the next 2 days...
here at rajpal nagar jeetubhai had informed everyone about their outing for a couple of days.. he informed that everyone from modi family will also be joining them...
kinjal was happy that atleast she will be free from rajpal nagar for couple of days... urmila was happy too she didnt really care where they were going... she thought this will be a good chance to show off her
designer stuff to modis... for next 2 days she was going to shop hard and get all designer dresses and jewellery...
jeetubhai had asked dhaval if it was ok to close the shop for couple of days... dhaval said it was a coincidence that the market heads had decided to shut the shops for 2 days in order
to protest aaginst the local civic body on some tax issue... so he was anyway free..
dhaval offered jeetubhai to arrange for their transportation... hearing this jeetubhai was happy and he excused himself to make few phone calls...
For the next 2 days at modi bhavan all men were busy with their new project presentations and preparations... and ladies were busy making dry snacks and gathering stuff that they need to carry...
it was decided that meethi will also join them... but she will first go to see her family and join them at surajkund by noon...
it was friday and there was excitement at both homes... rashi was happily doing all the work from preparing snacks to packing she was really looking forward for this trip more than anyone...
she had brought out all clothes that jigar might want to wear there... some of her favourites and some of jigar's... she laid down everything on bed for jgar to finally pick them...
everyone had dinner and went off to their respective rooms for final packing... they also had to leave early the next day morning...
gopi was waiting for ahem in their room... she hadnt packed any of his stuff... she didnt knew how to go abt it.. whether ahemji will like it not so she decide to wait for him..
she recollected how ahem had refused to take gopi's help for packing while he was leaving for switzerland...
ahem, jigar and chirag were giving final touches to their presentation, they wanted to complete it by tonight so they can enjoy the weekend with family...
once the work was done ahem entered their room... he saw gopi packing her stuff and he felt as if she was waiting for him... gopi got up and took her pallu as soon as she saw him...
ahem spoke "gopi are you done with the packing is everything ready... "
gopi replied "ji.. i have taken all that was needed... lekin... wo.. "
ahem stared "what is it gopi... any problem.. "
gopi looked sideways and said "nahi ahemji no problem.. but your clothes arent packed yet... "
before she could complete ahem questioned "why... dont you guys want me to come along ??" he showed some fake anger and frowned
gopi replied " no.. no please dont be upset... its just that i didnt know what you would like to carry... and.."
she stopped and before she could continue ahem sensed what she was trying to say... incident of their switzerland trip flashed across his eyes...
he quickly brushed off the thoughts for a while and spoke with assurance " gopi, its no big deal we are just going for 2-3 days... can you please pick out few clothes for me...
i actually have to work on few things for the project... it will get pretty late if i pack after completing my work... "
he waited for her reaction... she gave him 'are sure looks '... and he nodded with his eyes !!!... finally gopi was at task of choosing clothes for ahem... she could she see how exhausted he was after working on this
project for long...
here ahem was pretending to be working on his laptop and watching her...
gopi could sense his eyes on her all the time... she was getting shy by now and blushing...
gopi showed him the clothes she chose and he was more than happy "gopi i would picked the same... thank you.. " gopi smiled...
ahem remembered something and said " ek aur baat gopi.. also pack my blue suit with matching shirt... " gopi gave him a surprised look as to why suit for an outing...
ahem continued " you know right we have to meet mr. patel on monday to finalize our new project... at surajkund... "
"ji... pack karti huun..." gopi turned back to cupboard and suddenly something sturck her... "ahemji which place did you mention about your new project... ?"
ahem replied "surajkund gopi... if everything goes well we might start our project there... thats were we are going for outing too with mamaji... didnt you know.. ! "
gopi's heart sank all of a sudden and she sulked... she was so busy with all the preparations... this was her first outing she can ever remember... she had never
bothered to ask anyone where they were going till now... something hit her hard... she couldnt speak though...
ahem saw her face and wondered what happened to her all of a sudden... "gopi whats the matter... are you done with the packing... i am through with my work too...
i suggest will sleep soon we have to leave early tomorrow... "
he started winding up and closed his laptop... "gopi please switch off the lights.. "
gopi switched off the lights, she didnt sleep well and was restless...
everyone woke early in the morning... all women got ready and were busy preparing breakfast and tea...
on the other end men were busy putting away bags in their cars...
once the breakfast was done... ladies headed towards kitchen to wind up and rashi offered to lock all the doors and windows of modi house...
she convinced jigar to join her in this task so that they would finish soon... she was already in her dreamland !!!
finally all task were done... meethi left early to visit her family... modi house was locked...
baa decided that chirag, hetal would sit with jgar, rashi in one car and rest including her would travel in another...
with modi men in the front seats and women at back their outing began...
At rajpal nagar too jeetubhai and family left house towards surajkund... urmila was super excited she was dressed in jeans and kurti...
she was a sight to see... ;)
it was a clear day with plenty of sunshine and pleasant atmoshpere making the drive beautiful... soon they were out of rajkot and passing through the countryside...
rashi was looking at jigar early through the mirror... smiling all the time.. she was was jumping like a kid and drawing everyones attention when she came across anything scenic...
here ahem had his eyes all set on gopi... though happy she was maintaining her silence all the time and only nodded her headed when asked...
ahem was unable to take his eyes off her refreshing face..
they entered the town surajkund finally and ahem could sense gopi growing restless... what was the matter withh her he couldnt understand...
parag was on phone talking to jeetubhai, who was giving them the directions... ahem was crossing lanes, passing sub divisions and finally
arrived at the house... jigar followed ahem's car and everyone came out...
there they stood in front of an estatic home... with beautiful garden and surroundings... ahem was amazed by the beauty of this place and city..
the air felt so different and this smell...hmmm... he was mesmerized by the house... he felt there was something about this house... the aura was such that he was getting pulled towards it...
entire modi family entered the frontyard of the house... jeetubhai and family had alreay reached there...
both families greeted everyone... chirag and parag told jeetubhai how much they liked this place...
kokila was also taken aback seeing the monument standing in front of her... baa, hetal and rashi too were dumbstruck... !!!
jeetubhai had a surprise for everyone... he called out naniji... and there came kokila's mom naniji in front of everyone...
everyone was surprised to see this gesture of jeetubhai... kokila was very happy to see her mom, she thanked jeetubhai for calling her mom too...
everyone greeted nani and took her blessings..
today jeetubhai was one man with tons of surprises stored with him... jeetubhai had secretly arranged for nani to visit surajkund...
somewhere he knew nani's presence was needed here...
however there was one person who was standing far away and hadnt moved... gopi...
she slowly started moving and came forward staring at the house... tears had started rolling out of her eyes... she passed ahem...
ahem was shocked to see her in tears... before he could speak... gopi ran to his mama and hugged him... she burst out with a cry...
mama tried to pacify her... and all she could speak... "mamaji... " and looked towards the house with all her love...
everyone was shocked what happened to gopi suddenly...
mama held her hand and made gopi stand in front of the house and spoke lovingly... "gopi... open the doors of your house...
wont you welcome all of us in..."
dhaval, kinjal shocked... entire modi family shocked... ahem with a confused state he was moving his eyes from gopi to the house and aagin
towards gopi...
urmila stood there with her mouth wide open and eyes popping out..
and kokila stood there with super shocked face with tint of anger...
seeing everyone jeetubhai was holding himself and trying to remain composed.. he knew there will be lots of questions that he will have to answer...
he is going to be answerable to number of people around...
