hey guys, this is my first ever fan fiction so please comment. Just a little intro to the story: Urmilla is the step mother, Jeetu was the father and owner of Shah industries, Anita is the step sister, Rashi and Jigar are the best friends and Ahem is the hottie, Dhaval is Gopi's real brother, Gopi is the step sister of Anita and is treated like a servant (kinda like cinderella). More characters will be added throughout the story. Hope u guys like it.😊

PART 1:

It was a rainy morning, a morning so sad for the Shah family just like the weather outside. Everyone was sad for the loss of Jeetu Shah, and all had come for the funeral in the morning. Gopi was shattered into pieces knowing that her father has died. Nobody could bear the loss of Jeetu as he was nice, caring, intelligent and a total softie and everybody just loved him because he didn't act snobbish as his industries was number 1. All were sad and comforting Gopi and Dhaval apart from two people, Jeetu's 2nd wife, Urmilla and her daughter Anita. As soon as Jeetu died, Urmilla rang their lawyer and ordered the lawyer to put everything under her name straight away. As Jeetu's body was leaving the mansion, Urmilla didnt even care to see thay her husband was leaving her forever, infact she was too busy worrying if they were lakh patis or corore patis. Gopi was left with her step mother and step sister all by her self, as her brother was taken away by their kaka so that he could run the industry when he grew up.

Urmilla came to know that they were corore patis and her face lit up. The first thing she did was kick out all the servants that were working in the mansion. She called gopi and told her that gopi has the responsibilities of the mansion such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, looking after her and Anita. In return she let Gopi to continue her education. Gopi was a humble and nice person and she couldn't ever say no. Eventually Urmilla split Anita and gopi, and always filled anita's ears with bad stuff about gopi. Every night, before gopi went to bed, she cried and prayed for her parents and also to make her life easy but Urmilla just made her life miserable each day.

12 years later...

Urmilla: eh, gopi, where is my breakfast, where is my dressing gown and why have u not fed the cat yet?

Anita: Omg mummy, where is that stupid gopi, my dress...ask her where it is, i like need to wear that dress because Ahem is coming today and i need to impress him again.

Urmilla: shooo, why didnt u say so...ill tell her off rite now. isnt he ahem modi, son of modi industries.

Anita: Haan mummy, and i love him but i think he only likes me as a friend so i really need to impress him.

Urmilla & Anita:GOPI!!!!!!!

Both yelled for Gopi at the same time. Urmilla and Anita attacked gopi with their words and asked where she was. Gopi was sad and replied that she was praying for her father as it has been exactly 12 years since he died. Urmilla didnt care about all that, she asked gopi whether she was important or her dead father. Gopi couldnt bear it, and started crying.Urmilla told gopi to shut up and get on with her work, gopi answered with "yes aunty ji" and left. The two girls left for college, one was wearing a short modern dress and one was wearing a simple kameez salwar. As they reached college, Gopi's 2 best friends, Rashi and Jigar were eagerly waiting for gopi. As rashi was about to approach gopi about why she was late, suddenly a big limo pulled up and everybody was crowding the limo.

Who could it be in the limo...Ahem or Dhaval?

PART 2:

As the limo pulled up into the college, gopi and rashi quickly rushed to their classes as they didnt want to be involved with the crowd. Out of the limo came out 2 handsome looking boys...Ahem Modi and Dhaval Shah. They were best friends, as dhaval went along with his kaka (after the death of his father) he went and stayed near the modi's and they would visit each others houses frequently and that is how they became best friends. The two best friends did not expect such a crowd and Ahem definitely did not expect Anita to be waiting there like right in front of his face. When Dhaval saw Anita, he nudjed Ahem but ahem couldnt say anything as their photographs were being taken and they were also being interviewed. After all the interviews anita grabbed ahem and give him a little kiss on the cheek. Ahem immediately pushed anita away from him. anita was bit sad that ahem pushed her like that in front of dhaval but to cover up she asked them how long they are staying here for as she heard that they are soon to become business partners. ahem was fuming with anger just seeing anita's face, and now that she was talking to them made ahem even angrier.

Ahem: Listen anita, i've never liked you and never will. What makes u think that i will actually fall for u...you are not even my type. So please just leave me alone.

Anita: but ahem, who says that i like u...i just wanted to invite u over to my house today just in case if u ever want to come, you know where it is.

Ahem: aarrgh, i dont want to come to your stupid house and i dont want to talk to you.

Ahem left the place angrily with his books in his hand. It was bad start to his day but he tried to think positive. Meanwhile rashi was asking why gopi was late and gopi told. when rashi came to know she started yelling at gopi.

Rashi: how can you deal with her, i'm telling you leave them and come stay with me

Gopi: but rashi, u dont understand, they need me...

Rashi: shut up gopi, listen to yourself, u know what.. there is no point talking to you

Suddenly gopi's phone rang and it was Urrmilla. She ordered gopi to go make her lunch immediatley as she has painted her nails and she cant do anything. Urmilla also threatened her that if she doesnt she will have to sleep outside tonight as her punishment. Gopi cuts the call and immediatley leaves rashi without telling her.

Rashi: look jigar, she left once again, you know, once we get married and we wil live in our own house i am so going to kidnap gopi.She doent deserve this.

Ahem and Gopi were walking at opposite ends and were coming towards each other, both not paying attention. All of a sudden gopi bumped into ahem and all his books fell down, making him lose control.

Gopi:oh my god, im sooo sorry, i was in a rush and i didnt see you and i'll help you.

Ahem: cant u at least...

ahem didnt know what happened, but when he looked at the girl opposite of him, he lost himself just looking at her. he saw the prettiest girl in a nice simple kameez salwar and her brown silky hair kept on coming on her face as she picked up the books quickly. he went mute and didnt know what was happening around him. Gopi helped him with his books and left him there with the books in his hands. Dhaval came and asked ahem what was he doing on the floor, and ahem came back to reality. He asked dhaval who that girl was, ahem pointed to gopi. Dhaval said he heard that it was anita's step sister. Ahem had decided straight away that he was going to Anita's house that afternoon just to see his love.
