PART 15:
A year after leaving Delhi S&G company was doing well and live seems to have change for both girls. They are well focus and have moved on and now lives peacefully and low and let their staff handle their chains of garment stores. Their designs are liked by the elite people of the country and who make special orders for whatever they want . They share their new home which is well decorated with well installed security round the clock to guard them. They even change their names as both are in exile and do not want to be found. Their real identity know to a handful of close staff. Sometime they will recall their excape route from Ahem, Sanjay and Sara's designer boss.
FB: Sara told them that Gopi was at her flat rather than the hotel they were staying but knew that they do not believe her so she made arrangement for her assistant to check Gopi to an other hotel as she knew either Ahem or Sanjay will follow her. For days she only communicated with Gopi over the phone and not met her so that they won't be found.
One day Ahem came to see her at her hotel launch and want to speak to her and after much persuasion she relented.
When she saw he, she felt sad and thought that may be she was too harsh with him and needs to give him a chance to explain himself as she taught there is more to Gopi's story than meet the eyes. Ahem has lost more weight more dark circles around his eyes and seems too ill. At the table both looking nervous and Ahem then started to narrate the story regarding Gopi and his marriage and how much she has been deprived and manipulated of everything by her maami and sister Rashi. He finished by explaining to her his guilt at what he has done to her the night before she left. All the while, Sara had tears in her eyes sometimes her expressions will change from hate to disgust to anger to sympathy and finally told Ahem that Gopi was at hotel on the night of the show but when she came back later she was gone and left her a note which she presented to Ahem.
It reads " Saraben you have been so kind as to help me this much but i heard you talking to the receptionist not to let Ahemji or Sanjayji up for me. Because of me you are worried a lot and therefore am leaving as i do not want Ahemji to be mad at you. When am settle,one day i will call you hopefully you will have your number still...Gopi Modi".
After reading the letter, Ahem had a stoned face and took the letter with him. He recognised her writing even though they were neater now and never bothered Sara again.
Sara felt bad for Ahem and knew he loves his wife dearly but she had to lie to him to make her plan work. She made Gopi write the letter after she told her that Ahem went to their flat to look for her but since she did not want Ahem to find her, Sara made up her mine to help her.
The present now:
Ahem was standing at the balcony of the room and thinking he might never find her as she does not want to be. The letter she left to Sara made him realise that he was stalking her and left all the detective job with Raj and put all his concentration on work,work and more work. He now sleep in the guest room and their room has become unbearable for him with all the bad thing he has done to her was there as a reminder. Once in a while he will come the room to have a private feel of her even though he sense her all over the house.
Things had turn worse to Urshi when after Jigar accidentally met Sonal with her now husband and both relive the incidents leading to the marriage breaking up. How Sonal was lured to witness Jigar proposing to Rashi, the late night meetings and so on and when he reach home, he confronted Rashi who said she did that because she was in love with him and cannot see him marry another person. Jigar did not know how to handle his pain but realised that his relationship to date was all false and decided to take leave off work and sort his problems. As for Rashi, she tried every trick possible to stay at MM.
Gopi is not transformed into a sophisticated lady but refused to wear western clothing. She graduated with Honors Degree and speak fluent English and drives a car. Sara could not believe the new confident Gopi who can now differentiate fake and real goodness even though she still forgives quiet easily. Sara called and told her she has to go back to her uncle as he has stroke and has been hospitalised.
The mere mention of Abdul papa made Gopi cry and insisted that she will accompany her and does not border who recognises her as her papa needs her. So both agreed to leave and whilst they are there will lie low and will put on burka to avoid being noticed.
Weeks after arriving, both felt at home and agreed to open a new store in the mall and Sara will be in front hiring staff and arranging the look whist Gopi will deal ordering and all the back files needed. The opening was a huge success and about closure, few people want to buy but where refused entry by the guard but they were begging him and when Sara heard the commotion came to interfere and was stunned to see who it was.
Both look at each other and did not know for how long until the guard interrupted but Sara let them in. " How are you Sara"? Sanjay asked when his sister left his side to check the store. "I've tried contacting you since that night but failed and your boss then told me you have done a runner and not found. Listen can we at least have a coffee whilst my sister is still shopping in you store and please do not refuse as i cannot harm you at a public place but rather wants to get to know you and for you to see that all men are not like Karan ( her designer boss). Yes Sara you assistant told me a lot about you and meeting you here has revived my feelings for you for the very first time I saw you, i knew my life won't be the same and without you in it will be in complete". The two chartered for some time and decided to meet again.
Ahem was in office busy with some file when his phone ring and the caller said " Gopi is in Rajkot but if he want details to meet in person". He did not know whether to believe or not as such cases took place by people who wanted to extort money from him. Then he left not knowing why but after a long time did he get to hear her name as no one at home mentions her due to the pain it cause. There at the table sat a backless saree girl, but stopped in shock to see Sara who smiled at him and offered him a seat.
She said " am not going to waste much of your time but first I want to know how is your search going and see for myself whether you still love her but i can see you have not been taking care of yourself and it would kill her to see you like this so i suggest you go home and at least shave that beard and get some sleep as you are a wreck at the moment" " Listen Sara am not here to play or joke just tell me how to find her and leave the rest to me" Ahem glared at her and when she did not respond he added " do you know how it feels to loose someone you love,wondering whether they are dead or alive, trying to find them no matter, spending lonely moment dreaming of them or even fighting yourself to not remember them as the pain is suffocating. Well that's how am feeling and more without her. I love her Sara and am sorry for all the hurt i caused her so please stop buttering me to false into as every day without her is death to me. You can tell her that when you see her and do not call me again." He blasted and was about to leave when she held his hand asked him to sit. She wrote their home address and gave him but said at she will be home by 5pm before he left. She new Gopi too loves him as there has not been a day that she would not pray for him, she even fasted for him and cried at night for him so Sara's plan was to make her see the world fully and not let herself be fooled by anyone and to have a mind of her own and hope things would work out soon for them and before long her date is due but she does not want him to interfere in Gohem yet as she now know Sanjay hates Ahem for what he has done.
Ahem did not want to get his hopes high but believe Sara and was driving fast as it was already 5:30. he arrive at the mansion and when he said his name, was allowed in without further question not knowing that Sara had already informed the guard. As he was reaching the entrance, his heart was beating fast not knowing what to expect but hopeful and then he rang the bell with shaky hands and waited and felt it was centuries before a lady opened the door and asked who he came to see and in all his nervousness stammer Sara but was told she went out. And as he turned to leave feeling dejected, he heard a familiar voice,angelic,melodious and which made his heart thunder faster, his belly gruntles and his mind summersalts. The lady was about to shot the door when Ahem put a foot to jam it and she panicked and then he said "Gopi". The woman looked at him for a while and then called Gopi telling her a stranger is here for her and left him standing.
Gopi at first was mumbling as to say she is not expecting anyone but stopped in her tracks when she saw who the stranger is. Ahemji! is it you! she exclaim looking at him with distinct eyes as she could not believe how thin and frail and weak he look with all that beard. Tears formed in both their eyes and and all that they have been through flashed unto to their faces and neither knew what to do until Ahem spoke stammering ' Gopi how have you been' and did not know how to complete the sentence or what to say to her after nearly two years. She looked healthy, less make-up,hair loose and was wearing a simple green saree with heels. She is more attractive now and God can i take her in my arms as they too have suffered without her in them stroking and caressing. He could not help the overwhelming feeling he has right now but both were reluctant to make the first move.
She invited him to the sitting area and and asked the maid to made coffee for him as she remembered he takes coffee at this time. " Oh Gopi two year and you still recalls what his tastes and dislikes are" Both took there drinks and drank quietly but asking questions through their eyes without any reply until meal was announced and both headed to the table. Ahem was not feeling hungry but when the maid complemented her cooking he decided to eat and the taste took him back when they were together. "She cooked it, was she expecting him" he thought and as if Gopi read his mind she said Saraben was expecting a guest and i volunteered to cook for them. He noticed her blush and smile silently to himself. After meal, Ahem asked it they can go to the garden but she intervene and said she was going out to meet someone and that she has to go and get ready and excused herself and left.
As her was heading to his car, Gopi was watching him with tears and wished she can stop him but all the hurt came back when she saw him. She lied to him to get away from his sight as his condition hurt her heart and all she wanted to do at that time was to take him to her room and take away all his suffering and bring him back to health.
Ahem look back cause he sense being watched but did not see anyone and climb into his car and drove off thinking who she meeting. " Has she moved on and found someone else? She looked delicious and man how I wanted to take her in my arms again and kiss her senselessly until she promise never to leave but then fb that's the reason she left. I did not leave any where untouched apart from making us one. " He recalled her softness against him, having her breast in his mouth oh God i thought after she left i have no feeling left but now all my desires for has been aroused again. I need to talk to Sara'. He said
well that all for now so enjoy as the episodes these days are boring without gohem
