That night the Mehta's are coming for dinner so the ladies get busy preparing for evening meal after the men goes to work. Everyone ignored Rashi for the day, they didn't care if she didn't come to help because they didn't want her to mess up the meal.

Ahem is in his office trying to work, but was thinking about what Gopi had said to Rashi. He couldn't imagine what she must have gone thru in that house, no wonder she was so scared before, especially when he shouted at her, he is finally getting to know how his wife grew up and why she was not educated, it wasn't that she is not smart, but she never had the opportunity to learn. He knows he has lot to make up for and his going to need time and patient to win her over, but he was not goning to let go of this second chance he got.

Back at the MM, all the dinner preparation for the evening are done, men should be back from the office soon, all the ladies decide to go freshen up and get ready before their guest comes.

Rashi had calmed down after talking to her mom she went to apologize to Gopi, but Gopi just ignored her, but Rashi was thinking about what her mother had said about suspecting Kinjle of having a boyfried and she was going to find out who it is.

When all the men come back home, they are all sent to get freshened up and change clothes, Ahem looks around but doesn't see Gopi and he is disappointed, he goes up to get ready with sad face.

When he comes down she is busy putting finishing touch on the dinner, and there was the whole family around, he couldn't get a private moment with her. It seems as though fate is conspiring against him, before when when she did little things to please him he never noiced and now he want excuse to see her she is keeping her distance from him. He couldn't take his eyes off her, she looked beautiful in her pink sari, his thinking that's his new favorite color, he has to remeber to buy her another sari in that color. He was so lost in his thoughts and looking at Gopi, he didn't even notice his family giving him knowing looks.

The Mehta's come and everyone is greeted, Gopi takes blessings from the Mehta's, Ketki ben to Koki your DIL is very beautiful and traditional, where was she for a while, wanting to know information because they were yet not sure of the Modi's. Gopi answers, its not like what you have heard auntiji, I was not kicked out of the house, I went away to get educated, I have been sheltered all my life, and I was too innocent and naieve, I wanted to be come more knowledable about the world, so I asked Ahemji and Maji to send me away from home for awhile to get educated, so I could be come worthy of the family. Everyone is relieved, Ketki again to Koki, you DIL is very smart you should be proud of her, Koki goes over to Gopi and says yes I am very lucky to have found this gem, she cares for the whole family a lot and we are very proud of her. Once again hearing this both Kinjle and Rashi are mad.

Ahem was in awe of Gopi, he had to admit even he couldn't have come up with that, he felt ashamed that he didn't recognize Gopi's worth before, he could have save himself lot of heart ache if he had just realized he really hadn't loved Anita, he was just holding on to Antis out stuborness, because he thought he had loved her and he had wronged her by marrying Gopi.

Everyone move to the hall and start disucssing the wedding plans, after awhile everyone goes to dinner, Gopi serves everyone and small talk begins again. Ketki ben impressed with food compliments Koki who says all the food was made my Gopi vahu and Ketki ben once again is very impressed by Gopi. Ketkiben mentions she wanted to take Kinjle shopping for jewlery the next day and she wanted GoHam and RaJi to join them.

Jigar hearing this says auntyji I am sorry I won't be able to come I have important meeting with new client tommorrow, looking at Ahem and nodding towards Rashi, he didn't want Rashi to go to jeswlery store and buy something expensive or do something stupid in front of Kinjles in laws. Ahem understanding stays quiet, Jigar continues and say and Rashi has to take her mother to the doctor tommorrow so she won't be able to go, Rashi mad, but can't say anything. So it was decided that only GoHam and Kinjle will meet them next day at the jewlery store.

That night Ahem is in his room pacing, he was waiting for Gopi to go to her room so he could go and talk to her, but when she comes up his mom is with her and they are talking, he lays down on the bed to wait, but falls asleep, when he wakes up, he gets up to go see her but when he slowly opens her door he sees that she is sleeping and he didn't want to wake her because she needed her sleep, so he looks at her for a minute and leaves. He goes to his room turns the light off and goes to sleep thinking about her.
