Chapter 21

The Kurana's and the Modi's landed at the resort. Both set of parents decided to take a cottage, so they can catch up with all old things. The four boys found one and the two girls ended up separately. Arjun was disappointed, he thought of having fun with Smirthi but alas he was struck up with Rahul bhai. He was not much fun, always had his nose in his laptop and business. Soon all the youngsters started for sailing and enjoying at the beach. All the while Viren was coaching Aham to confess his feeling to Gopi.

For the next two days this was the scenario. Aham will go near Gopi on one pretext or another. He helped he get in the boat; he got her ice creams, when she slipped caught her etc. All the while he wanted to tell her about his love. But he never found the courage. Gopi was confused by Aham's attitude. She was always near her, his expressions were trying to tell her something but he never said a word. That evening there was a celebration in the resort on behalf of the kurana's arrival. Everyone was enjoying it. Viren nudged Aham to ask Gopi for a dance. Aham bravely went near her. Gopi was in a beautiful sea blue salwar, like a water nymph. When he went near her, gopi turned her face smilingly towards him. He said: Gopi, I want to tell you something. Rahul and Viren were eyeing him expectantly.

Gopi: ji Ahamji tell me.

Aham: wo.. wo' don't drink too much of cool drinks you will become sick.

Gopi: okay, don't worry.

Aham came back to face the ridiculed of the brothers.

Viren: yar you call yourself the best business man, you can't say I love you to a girl.

Aham got angry and asked: Viren have you ever fallen in love with any girl?

Viren: na baba. You know me. Girls are not my cup of tea.

Aham: then shut up and don't make fun.

Before an argument broke up rahul pacified him. Just then Arjun joined them.

Viren: Aham here comes the master. Why don't you ask Arjun how to propose, he has experience.

Arjun: what is the discussion going on guys?

Rahul: arjun, aham wants to propose to Gopi, but he is frightened. Since you love Smirthi why don't you give him some tips?

Arjun: bhai, shall I tell you something, I never proposed to Smrithi. Gopi did all the talking. Aham why are you afraid of confessing your feelings, I know well that Gopi loves you, don't hesitate because if you don't do it then you will regret it.

While they were discussing, Gopi had left the place. She did not know what to do. She was over whelmed by the presence of Aham. And that idiot was no near to confessing his feeling. If she confessed first, she of afraid that he might insult her. She could not bear both.Thinking so, she reached the sands near the beach. After some time she felt a shadow near her. Slowly she lifted her head to find aham sitting near her. Few silent minutes later Aham spoke:

Gopi I want to ask you something. Your friends told me that you never go for parties, you don't talk to boys except for Arjun and also once you slapped a fellow who tried to misbehave with you. May I know the reason behind all these?

Gopi did not know why Aham was asking her such questions. Yet she replied: I was not interested Ahamji. My heart was somewhere safe to get tangled in that rubbish. What if I ask you the same question? Will you answer me?

Aham drew a deep breath and replied: Gopi I lost my heart to a girl with beautiful blue eyes. Even before I could control my feelings I was lost. But fate termed otherwise. I was accused falsely and was turned away from her. I was angry. Just to take revenge I tried to divert myself in many ways. Alas poor me, all I got was pain and sufferings. I got cheated. When everything looked dark, she came back into my life again. She came like a ray of hope. I was like a blind man searching for a way to live. There she was, my sweetheart, just in time to save me from my fall. To this day I hope that she loves me, I don't know what my life will be without her.

All the while, Gopi had tears in her eyes and a radiant smile in her lips. If she were to die now, she would be happy since she knew Aham loved her. She realized it was her turn to console him and still there was this attitude of his, the unknown reason for avoiding her. Gopi took Aham's hand in hers and laid her head on his shoulders and said: just tell me one thing Ahamji, when you knew she was the ray of hope for you, then why did you avoid her, why did you give her pain.

Aham held her close to him and replied: when I loved her, I did not know the background story. Soon I realized that I was a nobody. The name I had was not mine. I had nothing to give her except my love. What will people say if I married her? Moreover she was so young that I wanted her to enjoy her life. So I tried to distance myself from her. I wanted to see her happy.

Gopi stopped him and said: my happiness is only with you. How can you think that I loved you for your name or money? Nothing matters in the whole world than being with you, loving you. Don't you dare do this again to me. Aham was laughing by now; he turned her face towards him and said: no darling I will never do this. I will always be with you. Our love shall die only with us. Saying so, he kissed her. Gopi felt as if the universe was blessing them. Now she knew what his kiss was like. Just like the horizon they will always be together

EPILOGUE

Three months later Aham ' Gopi's marriage was celebrated with grand fare. Both the families were so happy to see their children's love. Koki felt as if her brother was returning back in the guise of his daughter. The highlight of the whole event was the caretakers. Koki had specially chosen Jitubhai's company for the cleaning service. So the hardest who worked for the wedding was none other than our own, Urmila Ben and her laadli Rashi. Jithu bhai made them sweep, clean and wash the whole place and vessels, dust the area spotlessly. Cursing their fate the continue their work.

So friends let us leave these two to their misery and say goodbye to the couple in love. Let us wish them happiness and pray for their union.

I'm doing the same yaar Shruthi.. I'm writing the last part of love story as we speak..
