Raj: Remember that girl who bumped into you at the airport? I think she was sent by tarun to take the letter.

Jigar who was in the same car as Gopi said: You can't go in without the letter though. What are we going to do now?
Gopi wiped her tears and put on a brave face and said: I'm going in no matter what Jigar. I can't let papa face all this on his own. I was the one to accept the challenge so I should be there to face the consequences now.
Saying so Gopi got off from the car and walked in the direction of the conference room and all the Singhania's and Modi's followed her in. Gopi went to Dhanraj and gave him a hug as soon as she saw him.
Dhanraj: How are you angel? I missed you so much beta.
Gopi with tears in her eyes: I lost the letter papa.. I failed you..I'm so sorry I let you down.. How could I be so careless.. I'll never be able to forgive myself..
Dhanraj wiped Gopi's tears and said affectionately: My angel can never fail me.. You completed your challenge successfully and it's not your fault that your opponent did not play fair. I'm very proud of you beta.
Dhanraj Singhania hugged his precious daughter lovingly and asked her to take a seat as he had to go to the stage but Gopi insisted on going with him as well.
Gopi and Dhanraj went to the stage where Tarun was already waiting for them with smirk on his face.
Tarun started speaking as soon as father and daughter took their seats.
Tarun: Ladies and gentlemen.. you must be wondering the reason for this press conference today.. Most of you already know I'm Dhanraj Singhania's nephew and I work for SGC but what you don't know is that Mr Singhania always differentiated between his children and me which is why I'm a mere office administrator while his sons are all MDs and his precious daughter is the CEO of SGC. Three months ago I was tired of this partiality and challenged Ms Gopi Singhania to find a job in different country on her own merit and work there as a normal employee for three months.
The Modi's who till now did not know what was going on were shocked to hear all this and most of all shocked to know the Gopi who lived such a simple life for the past three months is actually the CEO of SGC.
Tarun: And she would come back after three months with a reference letter from her employer stating how good an employee she was. If Gopi succeeded the challenge I would have to fall on Mr Singhania's feet and ask for his forgiveness and also resign from the company but if she failed then she would be fired from her post and I would be appointed the new CEO of SGC. So Ms Singhania? The letter please..
Gopi looked at her dad sadly and did not know what to say.
Tarun: We don't have all day Ms Singhania.. Do you have the letter or not?
Gopi looked at Tarun and said: No I don't have the letter.
Tarun: Did I hear you right? Did you just say you don't have the letter. I mean The Gopi Singhania actually lost a challenge! Wow that's huge!
The Singhania's and Modi's were very angry at the way Tarun was trying to humiliate Gopi, specially Jigar and Chirag who really wished they could do something to help Gopi but they could not as Gopi worked for Aham and the reference letter should be from him only.
Tarun: Well since you don't have the letter and lost the challenge I want Mr Singhania to apologise to me if front of everyone and appoint me the new CEO of SGC.
Gopi got very angry and said: There was nothing said about papa having to apologise to anyone.
Tarun: I can ask anything since I won the challenge. How did you forget the Royal traditions Gopi? The winner is allowed to ask for anything from the person who lost.
Dhanraj who had enough of all this nonsence said: Tell me what you want Tarun.
Traun: Well you have two options Mr Singhania. You either apologise to me or get me married to Gopi.
Everyone was shocked to hear this and Gopi's face lost colour. Dhanraj was so angry that he could have killed Tarun there and then.
Dhanraj: I will prefer to die rather than get my daughter married to a scoundrel like you!
Tarun: no.. no.. Mr Singhania.. You were supposed to appologise not insult me.. Now you'll have to fall on my feet and apologise.
Gopi who had tears running down her face by now held Dhanraj's arm and pleaded him not to listen to that scoundrel at any cost.
Dhanraj: Don't cry angel.. I can anything for you..
Just when Dhanraj stepped forward to apologise someone spoke up from the crowd
Voice: One minute Mr Singhania!
Everyone turned towards the entrance and saw Aham making his way towards the stage. Aham assured Gopi through his eyes that he will take care of everything now.
Aham: You don't have to apologise to this lowlife at any cost.
Tarun: He will have to apologise since his daughter does not the reference letter from her employer proving that she worked in his company for three months and that she is indeed a good employee.
Aham wanted to beat the life out of this guy who dared make his Gopi cry but he controlled himself and said: She does not need a reference letter when her employer is here himself! I'm Aham Modi the CEO of MGC and I can confirm that Ms Singhania worked for my company for three months and has been the best employee who has worked with us till now and it was an honour to have her work with us.
Gopi smiled at her dad and he gave her a hug.
Tarun's face lost colour when he heard this and could not believe that his plan could actually backfire like this.
Aham smiled at Dhanraj and said: He is all yours to deal with now Mr Singhania.
Tarun had to fall on Mr Singhani's feet and apologise to him in front of everyone and left from there feeling very humiliated.
Everyone left from the conference room leaving the Singhania's and Modi's behind and Dhanraj turned towards Aham and said
Dhanraj: Thank you so much for what you did for us today son. I'm never be able to repay this favour of your's.
Aham held Dhanraj's hands and said: You don't have to thank me uncle. You just called me your son right? Then I just did my duty as your son not a favour.
Dhanraj hugged Aham and went to meet the Modi's since he had not met them yet and they all started walking out of the room while chatting to each other leaving Gopi and Aham behind.
Aham turned towards Gopi as soon as everyone left the room and took her in a warm hug and Gopi started sobbing like a child. Aham rubbed her back and said in a soothing voice.
Aham: Shhh pari.. Everything is fine now.. Please don't cry sweetheart..
Gopi still sobbing hugged Aham tighter and said: I don't know how I could have been so careless.. Papa was humiliated because of me today and I don't know what would have happened if you did not come on time.
Aham wiped Gopi's tears and looked at her lovingly: But I did arrive on time baby and everything is fine now. And that cousin of your's will have to pay for what he did to you and your dad today.. I'm definitely going to make him pay.. Now give a sweet smile..
Gopi smiled cutely at Aham and he kissed her forehead before they made their way out of the conference room.
The Modi's had a Haveli which was being renovated and they planned to stay in a hotel until all the work was done but Dhanraj insisted that they come and live in the Singhania palace until their home was ready and Aham was the happiest about this arrangement and secretly hoped that his room would be next to Gopi's again.
The Modi's were very impressed when they stepped in the Singhania palace and they admired the fact that all the members of the Singhania family were very down to earth people despite being so rich. Koki could not help but be very proud of Gopi. She already liked Gopi and Aham's jori from the beginning and she decided she will ask for Gopi's hand as soon as she can. They were all shown their rooms and Gopi took Aham to his room which was right next to hers.
As soon as they enterred the room Aham went to open the balcony door and came back disapointed. Gopi started laughing at his sad face and said
Gopi: Sorry Mr Modi there are no connecting balconies here.
Aham pulled Gopi into his arms and said: I won't be able to sleep without you pari.. It's going to be pure torture knowing you are in the same house but not have you in my arms.
Gopi looked at him affectionately and held his face in between her palms and said
Gopi: Well for that to happen you will have to ask for my hand from papa..
Aham kissed her on her forehead and said: That's the best thing you've ever said to me sweetheart.. Come let's go speak to uncle..
Aham started going out of the room only to be pulled back by Gopi. He turned around and saw a shocked Gopi starring at him.
Gopi: Have you lost it Aham? You are going to ask for my hand now? Papa does not even know you properly. Let him get to know you first phir baat karna..
Aham smiled and hugged gopi from the side and said: I know baby.. I was not going to ask for your hand now.. I was going to speak to him and get to know him first.. I know I'm very impatient but I will never do anything due to which I might end up losing you.. You are too precious for me.. Ab chalein?
