Gopi switched her phone on as soon as the flight landed to call aham when she saw his missed calls and voicemail. She was worried when she heard the voicemail and she called Aham immediately but his phone was switched off as his flight had already taken off as well. Gopi then explained everything to Jigar and told him that they will stay in the airport and wait for Aham's flight to land. They all went to a coffee shop and waited there after they all passed through immigration.
Part 16
Tarun had organised a press conference as he wanted to humiliate the whole Singhania family and hurt them in front of everyone. After waiting for an hour in the coffee shop Gopi decided to leave for the press conference which would start in another hour. She did not want to be late and leave her dad to face the press on his own.
Gopi: We have to leave for the press conference now Jigar or we'll be late.
Jigar was shocked to hear this and tried to convince Gopi to wait for Aham.
Jigar: But Aham bhai told us not to leave the airport without him. He should be here any minute now as his flight took off an hour after us.
Gopi: I can't wait any longer Jigar. We have to go now.
All the Modi's decide to go to the press conference as well to show their support to Gopi and her family. Gopi sees her Raj bhai as soon as she came out of the airport and was rushing towards him when someone bumped into her and her handbag fell down and all the contents spilled on the floor. The girl who bumped into her appologised and helped Gopi put everything back in her bag. Since Gopi was in a rush she did not really pay attention to the girl and just got in the car with her family and drove off.
Gopi's phone started ringing when they were 10 minutes away from the venue and she saw it was Tarun.
Gopi: What do you want now Tarun?
Tarun: Is this the way you speak to the future CEO of SGC Gopi?
Gopi: What rubbish? You have not won the challenge yet remember? Don't fly so high tarun as it will be very painful when you fall down.
Tarun: It's you who is going to fall now Gopi not me! Oh and btw don't forget to check you bag to make sure you still have that letter from your employer. You do know you'll lose the challenge without that letter right?
Saying so Tarun hung up leaving a confused Gopi who opened her bag to look for the letter and she was really frantic when she could not find it. They had reached the venue by then and Raj turned towards Gopi after parking the car.
Raj: What's wrong angel. What did Tarun say and why are you so worried?
Gopi who was nearly in tears now said: Raj bhai.. I can't find the letter.. I remember keeping it in this bag myself.. Where did it go?
Raj: Remember that girl who bumped into you at the airport? I think she was sent by tarun to take the letter.
Gopi: Oh god... How could I be so stupid and careless Raj bhai?
