just temme who is the elder bahu koki or hetal......i guess its hetal since she is calling koki by name 🤔...then how koki has more authority than hetal 😳.....pl clear my doubt.....
From what has transpired so far, Kokila has a strong streak in her character. Her husband has not been earning, as he is interested in poetry and culture. She grooms Ahem to be the best businessman, under the elder her brother-in-law Chirag. Hetal is a gentle character, who does not want to hurt anyone, and tries to keep everything under wraps. Both bahus work in unison, even under the apparent brusqueness of Kokila. Hetal has always sided with her point of view to be the best for the family, but has not hesitated to put her own ideas to her as well. Kokila always respects Hetal as the one who is senior to her but the latter does not insist upon her rights, because of her nature.
Their mother in law is old, and so that lady of the house who controls the day to day affairs is Kokila. In order to hold the household in one piece, she needs to be strict, according to her view. She needs a daughter in law who can be molded, and she finds one, but apparently she has not yet known her own children, as to where they have reached in their 'progress' and this is the root problem. The GENERATION GAP between the older members and the younger members.
Perhaps all this happens in a Joint Family, and any one familiar with it could add a little more info.
