The shooting of Ek Se Badhkar Ek was stalled when Rajshri Thakur could not dance because of arthritis

Rajshri Thakur (Saloni of Saat Phere, Zee) is going through a troubled period in real life. The actor has been suffering from arthritis for more than two months.

Rajshri's plight came to the surface recently when she was shooting for the reality show Ek Se Badhkar Ek (Zee). A source says, "The shooting of the show was stalled when everyone noticed that she could not dance because of acute knee pain. A doctor was called on the sets too. After inspection, he advised the actor not to stress her knee too much or else it would pose a huge problem."

After getting in touch with the unit members of her show Saat Phere, it was learnt that Rajshri has been suffering from arthritis since the past few months.

A source reveals, "Rajshri has generally been very punctual. She would come at 9 am in the morning and leave at 9 pm. However, since the past two months, everything has changed, including the timings. She categorically told the producer that she wouldn't be able to come that early. Now, her call time has become anywhere from 11.30 am to 12.00 am."

The source continues, "She stays at Andheri and the studio is at Charkop in Malad. She goes to a doctor everyday for check up and then comes for the shooting."

Rajshri has been doing Saat Phere for a long time, and hasn't worked beyond the daily show. Moreover, after the knee pain, she has been advised not to stress herself.

However, the actress loves dancing and was more than happy to accept the offer of Ek Se Badhkar Ek as they agreed on all her conditions including the timings.

Moreover, as both the shows are on the same channel, the timing is not a big problem.The source says, "It is a big question how she is going to perform on the show, given the doctor's advice, and the acute pain that she underwent on the sets."
Despite repeated attempts, Rajshri was not available for comment.

I hope she gets well soon....She loves dancing.

Today Rajshree performed on "Mehbooba-2 gulshan mein.." from Sholay. Her performance was good but there shd have been seductive expressions which the song demands. I hope she does improve on this next time.

I think Rajshree is improving. According to her she always wanted to dance so this is good and she takes her feedback positively. I am glad she's maintaining her standard.

Raji was in the bottom two this weekend....She was saved by one mark. Hopefully she won't have to face this again.
