Episode 15

3 days before the engagement day:

Its been a month now since Shali left but Brijesh still cannot get her out of his mind. Brijesh agrees to himself that though he enjoys Tara's company immensly and she would be a great wife but he will never be able to forget his first love. Brijesh makes a decision about telling Tara about Shali before the engagement party. He calls tara up and tells her that he wants to meet her today but since Tara is busy with her parents with last minute detail for the engagement they decide to meet the next day.

Shali is back in her parents house in Bombay. She has been trying to forget Brijesh for the past month but in vain. She has been constantly in touch with Nahar about his family especially brijesh. Her father being the top producer in India Film Industry tried a lot to cheer her up by taking her to various functions and parties but that doesn't help. In one of those parties she catches the eye of the very hot and happening John Abraham. He is mesmerized by Shali's beauty and the and the sadness in her eyes. He has been trying for the past month to meet Shali...but she has been ignoring his phonecall, SMS, flowers and invitation. JA doesn't understands on why Shali won't see him afterall he is good-looking, dashing, charming amd the current hearthrob of the nation.

In her last conversation with Nahar, Shali comes to now that that Brijesh has not been able to forget her. She is afraid that Brijesh will not get engaged before telling Tara about her and she doesn't want to come in between them and their new begining in life. After giving a lot of thought, she calls JA and accepts an invitation for Dinner. She then make anonymous phone calls to gossip magazines about the new women in JA's life and gives them the location of the restaurant where she will be meeting JA. She knows this is the best way to keep Brijesh from telling Tara the truth. She calls Nahar and tells him about her plan. At first Nahar is against it but then agrees. Nahar informs Saloni about it.

Shali feels bad about using JA and also realises that she did enjoy his company...he was funny, charming, attentive, sensitive to her needs, and above all a true gentleman. Infact she agrees to go on a date with him after two days....but she bluntly refused his offer to accompany him to Bankok for an outdoor shooting location. Still thinking about JA, She decides to give herself a second chance at Love.

The next morning Brijesh confirms with Tara about their Lunch. As he reaches the office, he is surprised to see Shali photos splashed with John on all gossip magazines with the heading"John's new Love interest". He cannot believe on what he sees. Shali is way too cozy and romantic with JA in the pictures. He goes to Nahar's office and shows him the photos.....he tells Nahar that how come Shali forgot him so soon. Nahar tells Brijesh that she is moving on with her life and so should you afterall you are getting married soon. Brijesh tells Nahar that he was going to meet tara today and tell her everything on Shali.Nahar request him not to do that beacasue she must be so happy today and you will break her heart. Brijesh finally agrees. Nahar calls Shali and tells her everything. Shali is happy but sad too. She has lost Brijesh forever.

Present Day: Engagement.

Saloni is getting ready along with Tara in the room above the reception hall. They were together since morning getting pampered. The mehendi has been applied a day before. The clothes have been laid out in bed. Tara is wearing a hot pink Ghagra choli and Saloni a turquoise. They both look gorgeous. Saloni and Tara are getting their makeup done when Nahar calls her. He tells her he can't wait to see her tonight. They will be officially engaged.

In the reception hall Narpat and Samar are checking out all the last minute details. Everything is ready and looks great. Nahar's father and mom come there and now they wait for welcoming the guests with tara's and Saloni's parents. Seema and Shubra are with saloni and tara so they can take them down to the hall. Shubra tells Sal and Tara that their would- be- husbands will definetly be bowled over today by their beauty. They both blush and Seema says that this is just the engagement party…and you are red like tamatoes…what will happen in the wedding night? There is a lot of teasing going between them.

Nahar and Brijesh arrive both in white churidhar kurtas with matching dupattas similar to their respective fiances dress color. They both look so handsome that all girls are jealous that they are already hooked. Nahar is eagerly waiting to see Saloni but Brijesh is calm and controlled. All people start arriving and soon the reception hall is full. A soft music is playing in the back ground. Nahar's father tells Aditi to call Tara and saloni since the engagement mohorrat is closer. Aditi goes upstairs and along with Seema and shubra gets them down. As they enter…Nahar is completely stunned looking at Saloni and cannot take his eyes off yet. Saloni still hasn't met his eyes yet but has a feeling that Nahar is looking at her. She slowly turns sideways and their eyes meet. Its like falling in love with each other all again. They can't take their eyes off each other and Seema is watching all this. She wants to play a prank on them but Raj says to leave the love birds alone. Saloni comes stand next to Nahar and tara next to Brijesh. Rings are exchanged. The couples feed each other mithais. Everybody congrats them. Nahar and Saloni cannot exchange words with each other since many guest surround them and everybody wants to congrat them. After that they are seated and a group of dancers dance on songs "raat ko aaunga mein dulhan lejaoonga mein" "Nimbooda" and " Maro dholna". Everybody is having fun. Everytime nahar goes to talk to Saloni…somebody or the other arrives.

Saloni is with her bua when a waiter arrives and tells her that she has a phone call. Saloni wonders who it is and goes to the corridor to attend the phonecall. As she goes outside…somebody grabs her by the waist and she goes to screem when the other had closes on her mouth. The person is dragging her up the stairs gently to her room. Saloni is scared now since she doesn't know what are the intentions of her kidnapper. She puts up a lot fight but the kidnapper is stronger. In her struggle, She manages to stomp his foot. Bu the sudden pain in his foot, the kidnapper without realizing screams Saloni's name. Saloni is surprised at the kidnapper knowing her name and then realizes it's non other than Nahar. She plays a prank on him by faking unconsciousness. Seeing Saloni go limp in his arms, nahar gets worried and picks her up in his arms and takes her to her room. He puts her on the bed and tries to wake her up. Nahar: Saloni darling..please get up..its your nahar. i didn't mean to scare you. he kisses her forhead. After no response he goes to get water so he can sprinkle on his face. Saloni watches him under half eyes closed. As Nahar comes back with the water...she goes back to her faking unconsciousness. When Saloni still doesn't wake up Nahar gets worried and decides to call a doctor. Seeing this Saloni snatches the phone from him and tells him that she is allright but she was just joking. Nahar then jokingly tells now she will get punished for worrying him. Saloni : Acha...what about the scare you gave me? and tries to get far away fromn Nahar with Nahar running after her. They circle the bed few times and finally nahar catches her but they both fall on the bed. Nahar looks deeply in Saloni's eye and tells her that he did all this so that he can be alone with her atleast for few minutes. nahar: I didn't even get to tell you that how beautiful you look. Saloni blushes. Nahra says he can't wait for the wedding day. Nahar lowers his head ... Saloni almosts stops breathing in antipication for the kiss. She closes her eyes and is waiting for the moment but then she feels Nahar lips on her forehead. She opens her eyes and sees nahar already moving away from her. Nahar: sweetheart...I am sorry to disaapoint you...I do very much want to kiss you but I don't think I have the control to stop and we have to be downstairs otherwise they will soon send out a searching party. Saloni gets up and realizes that too and agrees with nahar and they leave to go downstairs. As Nahar opens the door, Seema, Raj, Aditi, shubra, neel are waiting outside. Nahar tells Saloni that the family already sent out the searching party and they burst out laughing.
