Bel, completely agree with you. I'm also from Canada so I can relate to you guys. I haven't been to India since a few years but I well know that it is advancing in such regards, and fast. It is a really sad situation. I know people here who do not live with their parents, but that does not, in my opinion affect their love. However, I have also noticed too that in India, the situation is pretty bad. Female abuse is in unfortunate abundance. With most of these serials, the protagonists and even the villans are exaggerated. How can someone be so enduring and not utter a word of defense? Where is the concept of self-respect and dignity in that? And here we're always advocating our values etc. Well, part of our values is not to let others say whatever right or wrong and we just listen on the sidelines and accept everything. With Kaveri, I too don't understand her situation. I have priorly asked about her motive as well, but the answer does not seem so strong to me. Whatever you have said is valid.

I agree with you in some aspects but, lemme just tell you. ALOT of people in the US && Canada also are very rude, and they are party goers and they dont care what anyone thinks, and their parents let them do whatever they want! so dont thnk canada & usa have innocent people, DEFINETELY not! like indians get influenced from us..but i dont do any of the described. but yah.

that aspect is also not deniable. it is also very true, as a teen, I see it around me alot. parents do pamper and some take advantage of the situation.
